Buyer beware: you cannot return un-opened U-Haul boxes and other moving supplies this location. Would probably recommend going to another location.

Overall the staff are good. No issues what so ever. I got very unlucky my unit was a corner unit and when I came to pull my items I noticed the floor had been flooded and either mice and birds got in and left poopies all over my stuff so I had to throw away 1/3 of it very sad like I said dealing with corporate other than that would give 5 stars the manager is amazing and helpful.

Poor customer service. Went to pick up my online order and it was not ready. 2 guys were just sitting there and expected us to get the order. Didn’t not provide any help.

Had a reservation for 9: 30am. When I showed up the store was dark, the front door was locked, and there were about 8 other people there waiting for their reservation when the store was supposed to open at 7: 00. After calling the uhaul support line they got into contact with area manager and had someone show up, they arrived at nearly 10: 30, three and a half hours after open. Then after I finally got my trailer over an hour late the lady at the desk was beyond grumpy, your all have to do better.

Crooks. When we returned are vehicle we topped up the fuel to where it originally was we were told everything was fine but when we checked are credit card they charged a $ 80 penalty for not putting fuel in and $30 for them to top up. We tried numerous times to dispute this though the location and head office but nothing. Be careful and take pictures of everything or just stay away.

No motivation, no customer service, all the signs they installed around this place are misleading. Website shows they have storage but their office says they don't, or maybe they didn't want to do buisiness with me! Needs management change!

Do not be scared of the one star reviews. If everything is planned out carefully online and ahead of time, you have nothing to worry about. Most of the one-star reviews are people who aren’t careful and end up being screwed by themselves bc they don’t pay attention to the details.

Only bad thing and keeping this from a 5 star review is the phone line. They do not pick up fast, had my questions answered by searching online.

Great service from the people in office today. Book online the night before and had no problem picking up the truck the day of my reservation. The workers were kind and answered all the questions I had at the office. The check in process was straight forward and drop of was even easier. Great experience all around, would definitely see myself returning.

Old hag called Becky behind the counter is rude, disrespectful, and unproffesional, we booked a truck for saturday and she said it never was booked at the lication. We managed on the spot to book a second time and she refused to give it to us because it was double booked and tge other party was running late. She refused to call them and after 30 min she magically said oh you can have it ithe reservations suddenly disappeared. Disgusting just disgusting. Rude, with attitude and disrespectful. Ubaul should be ashamed of hiring people in custoner care like Becky. Never again.

A moving day is supposed to be exciting not an absolute nightmare. Where do I start we booked our U-Haul a month in advance. To be called the day before telling us our vechile wasn't available. They now changed our one way vehicle to a smaller vehicle which requires us to return it. Fast forward 24 hours in advance and we are sitting in their parking lot at 7: 30 been here since 7 when they are supposed to be open tons of costumers are here frustrated and no one answers their phone lines. We are on a time sensitive matter and this company is a scam never book with them.

Don't bother calling uhaul, on hold for 15 mins just to be transfered to hold another 15 mins, they won't listen to your question, just transfer you to another department. I was transfered 3 times, wasting all the time to have solved nothing. Called phone number at a location, because my reservation location and pick up location are different, end up with no answer. After reading reviews, I guess no truck is the reason. Worst service, people at facility have been nice, but customer service really sucks.

Horrible customer service. They don't clean or maintain their trucks. Truck smelled disgusting with stains all over and was handed to me with an empty gas tank.

The truck was all over the road shacking like crazy. The lady at the front did not care when i returned the truck. She was extremely rude. They should not be renting unsafe equipment. Poor customer service upon return, no apology, nothing.just well Im not a mechanic, she didnt even bother to look at me.

The lady that worked there was awful. When I got there it was so hot outside and the lady that worked there would not let me in because she was eating her lunch. After a while she saw we had trouble breathing because it was hot out and let us into the air-conditioned area. Awful awful awful.she was so miserable too.

Worst rental experience ever. The lady working there was extremely rude and didn’t seem like she was interested in helping me out with my reservation. She couldn’t figure it out and I had to just leave because of her incompetence.
I reserved with a different location and had no issues.

Extremely rude poor customer service. I booked a trailer and when I arrived was rudely told they rented out my reservation and too bad. Drove 40 minutes to get there, then had to go back to Toronto. I dropped off the trailer here after and the lady called me at 630am swore at me and wouldn't tell me her name. Worst experience ever.

This location is absolutely horrendous. Staff makes incompetent decisions without a lick of tact and/or professionalism. There were no help at all, and when I finally did a ONE WAY return of a truck, instead of allowing me to come in and get my refund (they pre-approve an upward amount then later give a refund - terrible business model), they tell me they already sent a cheque. A CHEQUE in 2020; which would take 4-6 weeks. Absolute garbage location.

They gave me wrong closing hours and kept saying that they did not. I was informed that they close at 6pm and when I arrived 5: 05 pm they said that they close at 5pm and didn't even help in after hours drop off, not even a brief explanation. They were totally unhelpful!

Wish I could give 0 stars. My step brother was supposed to move today, then the guy/girl at the place said they didnt have his 26" moving truck. He had a reservation 2 and a half months in advance. We ended up getting no U-Hal because there was none in 500 miles of Aurora. It was 8 am and we moved everything finally with 2 loads with 6 cars. Screwed up our whole moving trip, ending up with so many issues. It took us 5 hours to move. Please, call someone if the U-HAL isn't there when it should be.

Terrible customer service. Booked a moving truck a month in advance and was told we would only be able to pick up a truck an hour away. Told them it wouldn’t work and they said they would figure something out and call back in 15 minutes. Waited an hour, called back and got the most dismissive, uncaring customer service rep that told us nothing could be done about it. Way to go u haul, thanks for screwing us less than 24 hours before our move.

Olay was very helpful to give us extra KM for the truck rental.
Becky helped to find a storage space as we get them for free for the one way truck rental, she is very kind and helpful!

In first i order trailer in barrie 2 days before my trip they called me trailer is not good go to richmond hill i sayed im from barrie and ill not gonna go they called me from aurora and did resarvation for trailer and day before the trip they called me and again we cant give you because someone reserv him from sunday

Very friendly staff that provided great advise and feedback for my first time renting a truck. They have a wide variety of sizes for trucks depending on your needs. Would recommend calling first and explaining the amount of volume you need to move and the staff can recommend the best size truck to use.

This was the poorest rental service I’ve ever experienced. To start with the staff weren’t really helpful. I had to bring everything to their attention including the fuel gage. The truck that was given to us smelled really bad too, and when it was brought to the staff attention they just ignored us as there’s no smell. To wrap it all up, they charged us extra because they couldn’t change the fuel gage like we asked them to do. I highly recommend using another location if at all possible.

The lady doesn't care to try to help.
We prepaid fully 2 weeks prior to the reservation, one way, Friday to Monday, inclusive. Originally requested reservation in Richmond Hill. 1 week before it was changed to Concord on Keele. 7 minutes before reservation start, when I was already almost there to pick up, it was changed to Aurora on Wellington. We agreed to do it as a round trip and bring the truck back. Saturday comes, they call me saying that I need to return the truck. They say that reservations are based on availability. I paid for everything well in advance. The truck ain't available until I finish moving.

Edit: returning the truck, the guy at the desk listened to my story and did everything he could to help me out. Considering this and keeping in mind the stress that this whole ordeal caused me, I'm updating the review from 1 to 3 stars. I hope head office really figures out how to make things easier for their paying customers.

They are reasonable and as long as you don't act like a dink everything will be Rose's.and if you have not driven a large truck then I suggest you watch a tutorial on you tube for what to watch for.

Absolutely horrible service at the reception. I dont know why I haven't read reviews before booking a truck at UHAUL.
Also beware, they charge 69 cents per kilometer, while Duscount Truck Rental charges only 22 cents. 1 day of driving to Kingston and back costed me $500. Called customer service, see if they can do anything about the bill. They kept transffering me from one person to the other with no customer oriented attitude at all. First and last time I'm using UHAUL.
