Lady at front desk if I am not mistaken Aaron helped me choose the right truck for my moving and guided me what will be beat, also the truck she gave me was almost new and wasnt bad on Gas, all other from different location i have used have killed me on gas.
Also i cant thank enough to Hunter who did the inspection of the truck while returning.

Billed me for 3-days 1 way trip, brought unit back after 2-days, OK give me the keys back then, no you returned it?

We came to store to pick up some moving pad/blankets. I told the young man Cody.it says on line they are $14.95.he said that's on line probably a U. S.site you were looking at. He lied folks. They just missed out on an $8,000 truck rental because of that lie. Buy your pads on line folks because if you go to the store they are $24.95.
This is the worst case of price gouging I have run into. Shame on UHaul

Great experience renting a trailer, friendly and helpful staff! Cody was very knowledgeable and even gave me an awesome uhaul truck toy.the horseshoe crab truck in the lot was really cool too and made my day!

Great staff at this location. No hassles. In and out in 5 minutes. My husband says he's been to this location in the past and had a good experience.

Service was a little slow but I’m sure they were just short handed, the rental process went smoothly, I wasn’t charged anything extra like some have said here… paid for the rental, the per KM charge and tipped up the tank to full as I received it. I will definitely be using again!

Many trailer rentals from this location, never any issues. Friendly staff always willing to help. Stay away from weekends if possible!

Usually I have a good experience with U Haul. But this location staff was so rude and forced me to pay for the gas which I didn’t use it when I returned the truck. I was so shocked with that employee.

This location I have used 3 times. Out of three times twice they had charged my card in excess of what was suppose to be. In the recent rental 3rd time they charged me over and above what was suppose to be CA$120.00. When renting online and picking up or in person renting and picking up make sure you understand all charges like dolly charges and gas charges. They charged me about $220.00 instead of a $100.00. I had to call their call center who then forwarded my request to the shop manager and the manager refunded on two email communication but no apology. A robotic refund one and then I wrote back explaining how much they should refund then came a second refund. They were going to keep the HST part of extra charge they had done. Not good. Be very careful and smart make sure you have pictures of before and after yourself of the truck and gas reading.

The truck we rented was relatively clean, available on time and on budget. No issues. We have consistently rented from this location.

The man at the counter was really patient and helpful, which was really great because we were so stressed out with the move. He guided us through the whole thing and gave us suggestions for storage unit we were going to. I don't know his name, but "Thank you, sir! "

Lots of options, friendly staff just I don’t know why they didn’t accept to drop off the rental trailer in other locations and have to drive long way for returning.

Cross Canada trip moving a home from Ontario to Eastern Canada.

We booked a 26” moving truck & auto transport tow behind. The auto transport didn’t have working lights as per DOT regulations, the truck itself had no working air conditioning for the whole trip (it was hot & super uncomfortable), the headlights were not safely enough to light up the highway, the windshield wiper blades were not effective at all, we had to top off the oil and windshield washer fluid as soon as we got the truck, the truck had no muffler.

The Eastern business of U-haul of Canada said they would have NEVER let a customer rent this truck. Dave & Sharon from New Brunswick were incredible and accommodating.

If you are looking to rent a U-haul to move please use another location other than this location at Taunton and Wilson in Oshawa.

Terrible Service! Had to cancel my book because the guy outside started serving people who got there after us. He also claimed this is how it’s done because he worked there for 16 years.

Fast and easy all around. My 3rd time renting from this location and my 8th time using U-Haul to move from Calgary to Toronto.from Florida to Toronto.

Not impressed. I ordered a triler hitch for me to install. It was supposed to be there on a tuesday. On tuesday it was a no show. They said they would call the moment it arrived. No call Wednesday or Thursday or Friday. So I had to delay vacation. On Saturday I called them.my responce from them was yes its here we have you booked for 10: 15 tommorrow for installation. No No I am to do the install I am just picking it up. Oh she said you can do that anytime then. When I picked it up she said it was lucky If I hadn't showed showed up for the install they could have sold it to the next person that wanted one. They said they recieved it Wednesday. 1 day vacation missed due to them not calling.

Buyer Beware! This place has perfected the art of gouging the customer! We "reserved" a smaller storage unit well in advance of our move. On arrival after a move from Nova Scotia, the unit was not available. The only unit that was available was larger.and not offered at the same rate as our reservation. We had to pay the extra charge per month. Then, when we moved the items out of storage and rented another truck for the day, I noticed that the charge to use your debit card is a whopping $25! Bring cash people! I will never go here again.

The woman working at the counter this morning was so wonderful. Helpful and friendly despite being the only employee at the counter with a line up of people.

Its was easy to get the truck people was helpful it gets you where you want to go and more clean trucks and easy to drive go u Haul

The parking lot is a death trap and is a little scary going in and out l. With all the rental trucks moving around and the narrow lanes, you are lucky to get out. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and helped me out a lot with my rental return. They were so nice and it was a breeze to get the rental and has very fair prices. I was very happy with my rental and the truck quality was exceptional. The equipment was clean and working very well.

Horrible service not reliable at all Mr. Kholi set an example of extreme poor customer service.
I reserved motorcycle trailer two days ago in person at this location, on the day last hour Mr. Kholi called to let me know that they don't have one available.
They will ditch you the last minute don't waste time.

Rented a 26ft moving truck for half a day. Vehicle was fine but dirty. When I returned it, they told me I didn't gas it up enough (only had a quarter tank and returned same?). Said it would cost me $53 for them to do it or I could do it myself for $22 on gas- did it myself! Seemed pretty petty all things considered

Absolutely useless. First we book a storage unit with you and the day of you tell us the size we were confirmed is no longer available so we had to take a smaller unit. Now we booked, two weeks ago, a 26 ft moving van (which they confirmed) and they tell us today they only have a 15 ft. We are moving 4 hours away and now have to make two trips. Thanks

Everything about U-Haul is an easy process and they have friendly staff, but I was dissappointed about a hidden fee in the insurance (which charged x amount per km) provided.

Booked a truck for moving day. Received confirmation. Closer to moving day, tried to confirm the reservation via phone several times. Calls went straight to a mailbox which was already full. Had a copy of the reservation when we arrived to pick up the 10' truck. There was NO truck available which left us in a terrible position on moving day.

We had to drive in the opposite direction, to another city, to pick up the truck. This added stress, extra km charges and put us behind schedule. Truck then had to be returned to that location too.

Inquired about U-Haul "$50 reservation guarantee". U-Haul admitted they accidentally canceled our booking so it was their mistake. They denied us the $50! They said only certain locations offer the guarantee of a truck being there. What is the point of a truck reservation if there is no truck available on moving day? Ridiculous.

Disappointed that staff receiving my rental were not wearing masks. One employee was smoking inside the van while cleaning the vehicle.

Just went there to have a hitch installed on my vehicle. Very pleasant people to deal with especially the lady behind the desk (unfortunately i didn't get her name) The price to have it done was better than any other place i tried and only took 1 hour. Highly recommend this place!

Customer service is like dealing with service Canada PAINFUL their computer system is terrible it has no idea of inventory.
You can them up they say come on down we got 6 of them you get there and it was an error in there system they have none
So they send you to the next town over for the part and the same thing happens all over

Extremely poor customer service, I reserved a 9" Cargo van - the front desk younger lady assigned me a vehicle which was at the very end of the lot. Although there were 5 other 9 inch van which was sitting right beside the store, she decided to give the one which was the furthest away.i went inside for the second time i went inside and asked her i couldnt find it, so kindly assign me the vehicle which was just sitting outside. She said she cant do that, i really didnt know why. Long story short i had to walk 1km around the lot to find the vehicle and lost 20 mins of the 4 hour time slot. The gentleman upon return apologized to me as he knew what she did was wrong. If i was the manager, that day -i would give her a warning or some sort of penalty for her rudeness. Avoid dealing with that lady.

Not impressed as the van we rented had a foot of snow on it for us to clean off. There was no snow brush that we could see so had to use our hand. In the past the vehicles we rented here were all ready to go. Very disappointed.

Occasionally, the wait to get to the counter can be a long one, but the staff is always helpful and pleasant. Never had a problem.

The prices are great and they usually have what I need. I feel for the staff they have good hearts and work hard cold rain snow heat spells and rude customers. Always an exception but the most part 5. Going there today to pick up a 5 x 8 $20 You need to be smart and navigate their busy times like the end of the month and time of day.

Everything done via internet, there online booking and return is very good. All you need is phone with good camera.

It was a good location. However the truck was really old and torn apart but then again it's a rental used for moving so it has taken a lot of hits at it. But as a whole the customer service and the location was really good for a u haul

I've been disconnected twice after 11 and 12 minutes, respectively. I've now been on hold for 19 minutes, just for a simple question. This is sketchy and a waste of time. Call local for your moving needs.

Have used it a couple of times and experience has been fine except for one time when I got overcharged by a lot. Had to make multiple calls to get the refund but it finally came. Location makes it convenient.

Tried to pick up my truck, to no avail.
3 other trucks were blocking it in, and no keys were left for those trucks. I had to postpone my moving day, because of your error.

Night before (thurs) picking up a 24 foot truck that was confirmed (for a Fri am pickup) for 3 days, email sent (thurs) 9pm, (not phone call) you only have for 1 day! We can't honour our agreement that was arranged & confirmed on Tues, After causing Stress and trying to arrange another truck, and after taking a strip off the manager for over 15 minutes, remarkably we had the truck available for the 3 days. So much unnecessary stress, AND THE person giving us this great news (we immediately called after READING email) was RUDE, and VERY CONDENSENDING! TERRIBLE customer service. This was the location at Wilson and Taunton in Oshawa

They boast that they'll buy back any unused boxes, they neglect to mention that they have to be in pristine condition.the boxes I tried to return had a few small scuffs on them, and they wouldn't buy them back, leaving me with an extra 12 boxes and no use. Buy what you need and no extra.

Victoria Neil showed complete incompetence handling my request. I went through an array of problems dealing with Victoria Neil. Victoria Niel is the primary reason for the time and money I wasted. I will not return to this location as long as Victoria Niel is working there and I recommend customers avoid this location. Uhaul is a great company that simply made a mistake hiring Victoria Neil. They have compensated me accordingly which is why I’ll still return for services but will never return to this location or any location Victoria Niel is working at.

Who ever was working there today was pretty rude. I work in retail myself, I don't normally post. But he I guess had a bad day, and made every one else have a bad day because of it. Not to mention $60 for a couple boxes.
