From the customer service agent, to the manager and the lack of interest in their job, it was a terrible experience, and it's not the first time for me, at this location. So disappointing

Bad customer service. Went in and both staff today were watching something on their phones. Was owed a refund and they wouldn’t put it back directly onto my card. Gave me a receipt, said to come back and see the manager if it doesn’t go back.
When we returned the truck, he said we can just go. Failed to remember we were owed our deposit back.

We booked storage following our long distance move from BC. When we arrived we were told there were no units. We had to go to a competitor (thanks Smart Store) to get a unit then return the truck. I called the following day to ask what happened to our reservation. I was told they don't have one under my name. That's funny because the email from Uhaul clearly confirms it.
I won't even get into the poor state of the truck. So disappointed. We have used Uhaul a dozen times in the last 10 years for both trucks and storage but we won't be making that mistake again.

I’m helping a single mother move and during the move shes told she has to rush back the truck because they double booked it as she needed a few more hours to complete. Never have I seen anything like this at any uhaul locations. Better off going to Stoney creek location on Barton street.

Could have told me about the after hours check-in process. Got charged for not doing it properly.

It wasn't great. We booked a pickup truck online, and went to pick it up. The process of signing in was pretty slow and hindering, and the person working at the counter wasn't very helpful. Then, when we went to get our truck, we found the bed had a bunch of pea stone left in the back which would've scratched our furniture. So we had to go back in the store, get back in line, and wait 20 more minutes to get a different truck.

I think this U Haul needs to do a better job of checking each truck when it is returned to verify it is in decent condition for the next person.

Going beyond to serve a customer matters and this location sucks in that matter - Customer Courtesy at its lowest - Watch out for the Bold and Beautiful across the service counter.

Tried to rip me off over charged me for a car trailer supplied me with no receipt and no online receipt because they made a mistake with my email address when I was 2 hours late the lady called me up and asked me sorry I yelled at me and said where are you I replied excuse me who is this at that point in time she told me who she was and where she was from I told her that she should not talk to people like that and when I went to pay my bill and drop the trailer off they made it difficult and overcharged me

This was a great experience, staff was super nice. My truck was ready. Even tho I was an hour early for pickup. I heard them serving the customer before me about blanket bundle where to grab them and the attendee thought I had forgot and actually ran after me concerned. Super rare to see that these days.
Brought it back and they took care of everything.
Went absolutely seamless. 5/5. Also top marks for the gentlemen who served me. I hope the person who owns and manages this location reads this.

Not too bad went to London Ontario and back for $203 with a cargo van plus I put $70 gas to return it.

Reservation online process was straight forward. The first cargo van assigned to us was stuck in the parking spot so we were provided with another van on the spot. The replacement van drove well and allowed us to move our belongings. Would definitely rent from this Uhaul location again.

I have rented both enclosed and open trailers on roughly 10 separate occasions from this location.

I have had great experiences every time. Staff are always helpful, quick and efficient.

My go to location for this type of rental.

Truck was great. Well maintained and clean. Service was very poor. Walked up to store and an employee was on his phone in front yelling at someone on the other end. I was told I had to have the truck back sooner than agreed upon. Was over-charged for milage and not given a refund.

Out of small moving boxes.only 1 person working, should have had another person working since it was after a long weekend.debit machine not working only credit card could be used!

In may 2020 i booked to have a hitch installed on my 2010 toyota yaris, i visited the store three times, my appointments were cancelled three times, reasons some time installer not available and other times hitch not available, even manager called me to book appointment on his request, driven the car and given keys of the car to the location staff for installation, was told two to three hours for installation, left the store on foot, got call after half hour that hitch not available, went back to the store, taken the car back, extremely surprised and felt extreemly humiliated, after all this bad experience ordered the hitch on line received it in very short period of time and installed the hitch my self within 45 Minuits, happily driving a small utilty trailer behind my toyota yaris, Tanks U-Haul.

I ordered a hitch and hitch installation. Waited 2 weeks for the installation day.
On the installation date 2 hours before the installation I received a call from the location and was told that they don't have the hitch in stock and I should wait until they call me again. Very frustrating. I had to rearrange all my plans for the day.

Since then no one called. I called the location again but was redirected to some UHAUL calling center. They said they are going to send a message to the location. But still no one called.

It seems that after a month of waiting I will have to cancel my order.

Truck smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, interior blower was broken, ordered furniture pads online and was told that they were sold out when I arrived.

Terrific service! They provided an on the spot moving truck rental when I got "the gears" from another rental agency who couldn't keep up their end of the agreement.
Uhaul ROCKS. The truck was ready to go in 15 minutes. Clean, affordable equipment and people at this location were professional and courteous. I Will be using Uhaul from now on.

Bought a hitch online for a customer, when the hitch was the wrong part I attempted to return it. The girl left on her own had no idea what she was doing and her manager was of no help either nore on time for his shift. I have dealt with insults before and this has been by far the worst experience. I would not recommend going to this location.

Rented a storage unit. Was told by TWO different people I would get a refund on unused days, as I was moving my stuff out of there on the 3rd. One employee even said it wasn't fair to have to pay a whole month. Found out that I will NOT be getting a refund. I also DID NOT sign a contract when I moved my stuff in. So I was not aware of their refund policies, which is why I was going on the word of the staff and the manager. VERY disappointing experience.

These guys are friendly and prompt with their service. They take a lot of grief from arrogant and ignorant customers. For that, they deserve a gold medal. Keep up the good work guys!

GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Absolutely useless employees. Didn't bother checking the work order when we got there. Went for a walk to pass the time and got a call after over thirty minutes informing me the employee responsible for doing the job I required was ONLY available on weekends. What kind of business is this? Then gave us the runaround when we tried to just get the part.

Very helpful. Explained everything to me clearly and worked with me with drop off and pick up times. Will definitely use this location again if I need a rental in the future.

Terrible customer service, the young employee was useless. These kids need courses in customer service skills. Will not attend this location again.

U-Haul knows what they are doing. Great prices, fast helpful service easy booking online. I rent trailers here all the time.

Absolutely brutal experience. Will use uhaul again, but never this location. Customer service staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. Looking at many of the other reviews it seems like this is a common problem at this location. Uhaul management, if you are reading this, your staff at this location are out of control and tarnishing your brand.

Needed truck but they charge for kms!? This is outrageous! You advertise for 20 dollars but then I need insurance and to pay kms? This is not fair. And to top it all off when I mentioned this to your employee he said "it literally says it on the side of all trucks - Plus milage/fees". I cant believe your employee has an attitude like this, treating your customers as If they're stupid. You should watch your tone young man since " it literally says 20 dollars" on your board.

Spent all the time booking on-line, express check out etc.and showed up with not a thing prepared. Trailer stuck in the snow with most of the hook up frozen or out of working order. Attendant took a hammer to the hitch to make it work and nicked my truck a few times before I had to tell him to stop. Actually wanted me to push the trailer at one point before I indicated it might be easier to back the truck up to the hitch. To top it off I received an email hours after I returned the trailer indicating I hadn't in fact returned it. Do yourself a favour and rent from another branch.
