I have rented a storage unit for over a year at this location. I personally have had a different experience than other reviewers with the manager. She's always been friendly to me.

They replaced the doors and needed a spare key to access. I've gone in twice now to obtain my spare key back as the doors been done for months, I keep getting the run around on why they can't give it back to me.

This location is riddled with rats. Literally. They will go under the walls of the units and completely damage your belongings. The units have mouse bait stations which have never been inspected during my time there. But mouse bait stations don't work with rats. Dead rat picture in the middle of the alley way.
Rat feces absolutely everywhere when I moved my stuff out. Most of my belongings are now in the transfer stations across the road.

I reserved U-Haul at upper Willington location at Hamilton. When I went to pick up a truck, then said their system is crushed and did not provide me any truck. There was no system crush at all actually per their head office.

Use for a truck rental. I had to walk all the way across the large lot to "find" the truck then walk all the way back to obtain the key. Then drive my car a block away to park and then walk back in the rain to pick up the truck. No dolly in the truck per my order. Won't use this location again.

They had what I wanted and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was a problem was the parking.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I provided my credit card information online to this vendor when booking my van. I then came in the night before, having to drive across town, specifically to ask if someone else could pick up the van for me. I was told that anyone can come pick it up and they don’t need anything with them. The next day, the same employee told the person picking up the van that they needed my credit card and they would not take it over the phone. I had to come down there, missing work, to sort this out and they refused to give any kind of discount for my lost wages or the poor service. Also, the employee at the counter was texting while serving us, was belligerent when we pointed out the misinformation we were given, laughed at us and lied about the manager not being there. When we finally talked to the manager, she was also rude and wasn’t listening to anything we said. This all could have been solved if they had just taken $30 off my order when I spent over $250 total over two days on rentals and supplies. Terrible.

Would post zero if I could.very rude blonde Manger works there seems like she hates her life and job and takes it out on anybody! Not helpfull at all will never go to this location ever again and will deter anyone from renting from this location.

Do not go to this location they over charged me and customer service not exists try to talk to someone from uhaul 4 times no one was able to help just insane please people gorget this location unbelievable

Terrible customer service over the phone. They messed up 3 reservations now they are trying to avoid giving me my discount. Made me miss thousands of dollars at an event. Was suppose to pick up with 24/7 truck share at 7pm Thursday never got my truck until 12: 45pm the following day. Had to be at my event in Scarborough at 11am Friday morning.
In person reps were as helpful as could be.

No parking for customers, they had one of their trucks parked at customer parking.not impressed. Had to drive to another plaza and walk my way! Need to work on customer parking.good service by the staff.

When making the reservation we declined the insurance. When picking the trailer up we verbally refused it when asked and then signed for the decline. Then we were charged for it anyway, as we were in a hurry dropping it off it wasn’t noticed. Then when it was refunded it was done so without the tax we paid on it. Will never use this particular place again. Terrible way to do business.

Not a good place.got blamed for nothing and the guy working there lied about cctv camera that he saw 3 people in cargo Van, which actually was hypothetically made up to earn more money.called me while driving, talked rudely and asking to charge additional money for the thing which I didn't do.they don't know about the U-Haul terms and conditions. One of helper friend has to wait there for 3 hours because of this nonsense.they don't know how to talk to a customer when they are stressed about moving their stuff to a new place. Not recommending this place to anyone again.

The blonde lady at the desk that everyone else is complaining about is just as bad as it sounds, if not worse. Her attitude does NOT match her competence. Went there to ask about additional charges made to my account and she not only denied it off the bat without letting me finish my sentence, but also insisted that I actually owed $93 more. Which ended up being wrong. Anyone else talking to this lady: do your own research because she doesn't know what she's talking about. And then she blew up on me from the embarrassment of being wrong. I know people don't exactly go to UHaul for a 5-star customer service experience, but this was another level of trashy. You see someone as old as that and wonder how they got through life without anyone letting them know how ugly their attitude is.

Very slow customer service. They had one person working took about 15 min wait in line for pick up drop off was same. Truck was clean.

Wish I could give negative stars. First they sent me to the wrong u-haul location to pick up the truck wasting an hour of my time, then when I returned the truck they tried to over charge me $60 by using mileage instead of km to do the final bill despite me being Canadian and my contract stating a price per km. I had to argue with the manager and show them my math and explain imperial to metric conversions and have them do their own math which showed I was right. Then they were extremely rude to me for questioning their over billing and told me it was my problem their computer tries to overcharge customers. Avoid like the plague unless you want to spend 2 hours before and 2 hours after your move dealing with rude people who aren't trained properly and can't do math.

Customer service is very bad and not willing to provide you with any information even when we asked. We stuck when we returned the truck not knowing what is the process and call center wasnt answering for 30 mins

After hearing that pulling out the uhaul I requested from out the snow would be difficult, i noticed that they got stuck in the snow, so i thought i might help steer them out or move some snow out of the way. The veryyyyyy rude lady driving screamed at the top of her lungs for me to get out of the way and go back to the office. Take about customer service i was literally trying to help them and i got yelled at? Do not come to this uhaul or you will be disrespected especially if you are darker skin! I saw her kindly speak to a white man that came before me, they even helped him get things into his car. These people are racist.

For the most part a good experience. When I picked up a 5x8 trailer it had not been cleaned of drywall.

The man working the front office was very unpleasant. Didn’t seem to want to help us at all and the lock that his coworker gave us didn’t work then he said we had to figure it out.

We got locked inside the gated area one night when the card we were given was not working. Took about an hour to get out. My pregnant wife was with me in the truck. No one was answering the phone numbers given.

Bought an auction unit there and unfortunately was robbed, they removed the items they wanted and reorganize the unit for me to dump the garbage on their behalf. Not honest people. Hope they will fix that

Took a hour to get a truck which had been pre booked. I got zero acknowledgement from the employee working for the first half hour.

The only working employee was clearly overwhelmed and frustrated, but is dropping 'F Bombs' multiple times which is not professional.

If I didn't have an online reservation I would have walked out. Not worth my time.

This company wasted my time from St Catherines to Stoney creek mountain then to Hamilton on Barton st.all wrong information on their end and bad inventory information.
Led to wasting over 3 hours of my day and made me late for multiple appointments.

Then for returning the trailer they put the wrong location on the contract, and due to my wasted time I was in a rush, signed the contract to get back on the road. Then they wanted to charge me 200$ to return the trailer where I originally wanted to return it.

They are blaming their computer system (not my problem). Given all this information and my obvious frustrations they passed me back and forth over the phone from customer service to location to location and didnt offer any help and not even an apology. Terrible customer service!

They are good for nothing. What is the use of the stroge in case that your belongings is not safe and stolen?
We kept our furniture for more than 2 months when we came to took out our furniture we missed 2 TV in their boxes which are the most precious piecies in the whole things. We approached the Uhall management but they said that they can not do anything?
They are even unable to show us the CCTV records!
Cheap and poor management!
Nonsense!
It was safer if I put them in my car, parked in the street.
I don't recommend to deal with them.

Website keeps reading Error when trying to view prices for self storage and anything else you need a price on. Tried the text chat with a rep and was told to call the main 1 800 number. We will be doing that later. Hopefully with some better results.
U-haul, if you are reading this, please have someone look into the website errors. Thank-you.

Service is beyond great! Protection is always good, and no water damages after several horrible down-pour's. Highly recommend Upper Ottawa U-Haul.
