I booked a 10' Truck with U Haul 1 month ahead before moving but they cancelled my reservation without telling me. I found out it accidentally 7 hours prior to getting U-Haul. The reservation office offered me a bigger truck but because I don't have any experience driving 15 truck I had to accept a van that needed to be returned back to the same location costing me extra 140 kms and and pay another $70 for a train ticket. I'll will never use U-haul again.

What a smooth seemless rental experience! I was impressed I was able to get a truck on short notice so close July 1st but they had one. Although the uHaul website overall is unfortunately slow and freezes periodically the location staff more than made up for any problems with the website. The location and truck both spotless. The location staff were very personable,
knowledgeable and tremendously helpful. They even laughed at my bad dad jokes!

We originally were very disappointed that Uhaul corporate cancelled our one-way truck rental the day before our move. We booked days in advance via the Uhaul website then were told at the last minute by Uhaul corporate that the only trucks that were available were for local rental only, no one-way. So we then decided to booked a trailer instead via the website but found out that the trailer was actually not even returned by the previous client yet. Despite these issues with the Uhaul booking system Patricia from Lok all Storage in Cobourg went above and beyond to try and find us another trailer and then helped us to rent a truck in the end as the previous client still had not returned the trailer we had booked. Patricia at Lok all Storage in Cobourg provided us with the best possible service even coming to work an hour early to resolve the issues created by Uhaul corporate, their faulty booking system and irresponsible client who failed to return the trailer on time. Patricia deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond.

Good company to rent from. Helped out with scheduling and billing. Wudda given 5 stars but no one is perfect.lol

I need some furniture blankets for my new puppy and the nice lady there had an old 1 or 2 that she gave me for free so nice.

Excellent customer service, from the moment you walk in you're made to feel welcome and respected, she had what I reserved and the trailer was in perfect shape, no issues

I was in Ontario from the states and needed a trailer, the owner, John called me to confirm my trailer the day before pickup. I arrived next day and he went outside to get trailer and it was no where to be found. He claims this happens all of the time and he would find me another one. He never gave any explanation of where it was or that I could get a $50.00 credit for him not having one when I rented another one somewhere else.
I was given another trailer to rent at a place that was over hour away due to heavy traffic. Once I got there the guy tried to rip me off and charge me double. After being on hold for 20 minutes with uhaul customer service they got me the original rate. Then the guy told me he couldn't find any information on my account from the customer service phone call. He told me it would still be double the rate, I called back and was on hold again for 20 mins only to me disconnected before he got the necessary info. By that time I was over the whole ordeal that was taking up my last day of vacation. Needless to say I left without a trailer.
This cost me over 3 hours I'll never get back, which originated from the "missing" trailer at the first location. I'll never try to rent a uhaul again. I would be extra careful renting from this place, especially if trailer is absolutely necessary for a move.
