Have had some good experiences, would have been 5star if after taking me out of town, didn't refuse to pick me back up to go home without notifying me before taking me out of town in the 1st place.

Cabs are the driving cockroaches of London. Cut them off - flip them the bird - cause them to be late. Not out of spite, but if you don't do this to them ; they will do it to you.

Took 2 that day. 1st cab was clean and driver very nice. 2nd cab was not so clean. With a tiny musk smell. But. I forgot my phone in back seat. Called dispatch. They called driver. Driver found my phone and brought it home to me as soon as he was in the area. Life saver! Thank you u-need-a cab!

No wheelchair cab available but I was able to get in back seat. Driver was able to load my w/C in trunk. Worked out well.thanks for your help. Will be calling again!

I always use this cab company. I called five minutes prior to leaving a hospital appointment in anticipation they'd need a minute or two to get here. They were already there. They arrived at 1: 06 and left at 1: 11 with me waving and saying cab 650 is for me as he left. Then he looped back and didn't see me waving. If I were used to cabs showing up exactly the minute I would plan for that. But if five minutes is too long to wait when I'm stuck waiting for an elevator then no, thanks. I'll use another company now. Someone else kindly offered to drive me home.

Driver of cab 710 has some aggressive driving issues. Won't wait for an ambulance to pass at an intersection. Even after the ambulance was gone, the driver took off like a crazy person.

Friendly driver. I called to order the taxi and said I'd want to be picked up at 1230, he came about 1220. He explained since it's raining, he came a little early in case traffic is worse.

Dirty stinky cars. Not a good service any more. Their drivers are pulling scams with either the debt machine or attempting to get you to circumvent the system for one driver exclusively. I'm done with this company.

Its a hit or miss with u-need-a cab you either have a driver who's chill and fast or a driver who's rude and takes 30 minutes to get to your place

Used this company to get my 16 year old son him the driver did not listen to the directions he gave him and ended up costing us more money then it should have called dispatch to complain about this driver using “poor English” skills as a way to scam people and got told he was right we were wrong and when I mentioned this cab company was not safe for anyone to use for their children was told they were done with this conversation. My advice don’t let you children use this company to get home or anywhere it’s not safe.

They riped me off 2 days in a row.my ride came to 7.75 i agreed to that amount on the machine n paid next day same I went to the same place same price 7.75 then I check my bank statements today an they charged me 1 dollar over the price I agreed to on the atm thing each time an the cab drives was rude when I told him I was paying with debit not cash never using them again.not to mention there site told me it was a 5 dollar ride

I was using this 2-3 times a day. Every weekday morning to take my kids to school because my youngest is special needs and not in school yet. For over a year there was no issue to have us four in the back to go down the road. They had no issue during covid as no one was allowed in the front. Now there is an issue with it. Kids can be in there with no car seat going across the city but not down the road with 4 in the back for 5 mins.
There is a lady dispatch that is very kind. Very good at customer service. However the male dispatch was quite rude and condicsending. Talked to me like a child as I tried to explain I use them every morning and there has been no issue. I get the "rules" but if they are there then EVERY DRIVER SHOULD FOLLOW THEM!

I have been taking, " Uneeda taxi, " on and off for four years. The drivers have been, quick, respectful and helpful.
But today my driver went beyound. What a great company in a time when business do not take pride in service or product. This company is a breath of fresh air. Thank you everyone.

I was in 3 car accident yesterday not the cab drivers fault but when I called in to check on the driver I got no concern about my well being or they had no idea about the driver or his condition. I've been using this company for many years and due to the lack of concern I will no longer be using this company.not to mention some of the rude drivers or the ones that won't pick u from the grocery store cause they don't want to help or its not a long distance away.thank you.

I've been using this company for over 20yrs, and always find the DAYTIME STAFF DISPATCHERS are AWESOME! But NIGHTIME
FORGET ALL niceties go out the window, it kinda shocks me cause in the day they always seem acomidating and helpfull! I understand at they need to be a little on guard but sadly most I've rarely had to take at night are far from thier day drivers. For that I think I'll try a new company.at night and stick to day staff

My 10ths experience in U-need A, and it’s amazing, yesterday on March/2022 the driver called Mouhammad was so nice with my kids and patients in car #482. My son 3 years old knows his car is Toyota that let the driver surprise and happy and give my kids chocolate after he asked me. He so nice and respect you.and all drivers arrive less than 2 minute

For a company I had used for multiple years I found many of the drivers to be rude and after an aggressive driver I never called for service again.

They need to teach their drivers the rules of the roads. I almost got hit by one on my evening walk. I am already a single mom, my kids dont need to lose another parent

We were calling around to companies to help us move to another Airbnb and this company came through above and beyond. The other companies wouldn't help us because we had a lot of stuff to travel with. They do charge a $10 extra on top of the fare though which we didn't mind paying.

I moved to London five years ago. Not knowing the bus lines I took a cab to grocery stores or Dr.appointments. U-Need-A can was my go to. Not anymore. The last two drivers I had were rude. The cars were dirty. They did not know the city. I believe that there are not many companies left not owned by them. I am now using UBER. Let's see how that goes.

Just had an incident with one of their drivers who decided to pass me on Wavell Street in a 40 kph zone. The driver passed me in an unsafe manner. I was driving at about 43 kph. He had to be driving at at least 70 kph.

Cabs licensed by the city of London used to argue that they were legal and safe as opposed to their ride sharing counterparts. This driver was anything but safe or legal. I tried to call their dispatcher with a complaint. He stuffed me of to another number with an extension that was not answered. If I ever need a ride I will pick Uber instead.

Taxi called when car went in for repairs. Driver pleasant. Found he was driving 40 klicks the whole way to my destination. Estimated to be 16-17 dollars but was almost 25- due to speed? Then use of debut extra. Not informed.

I used their service twice today, and both drivers were very friendly, polite and professional.

It was quite hot out and I noticed only the second driver had his AC pumping before we got in the car. That driver made me aware that if a car doesn't have it on then you absolutely can ask them to turn it on for your trip.

This driver also told me ALL cabs with this company HAVE TO HAVE working AC in their cars, otherwise the driver has to have it fixed if it's broken, or their vehicle is taken out of service until the AC is working.

Price is fair depending on how far you're traveling, I went from EOA to East Park and with tips I paid less than $19.

March 22nd, my car had some tire trouble, not sure why, I decided to call U-Need-A Cab, Sandy not only she answered the phone, she also verified that Walday, cab 427 is their driver. Walday not only picked me up from Flying J, he also got me to work as well and not only that, after my car was done, he picked me up from my work place and drove me back to London to get my car. Sandy, Walday, thank you for for your help!

BEWARE SCAM FROM WHAT I BELIEVE IS CAR #144
I work early mornings so cabs are the only way for me to get to work. I have used UNeedA for almost a month and haven’t had issues until this past week. I’ve had this driver more than a handful of times and we’ve never had any issues. This past Tuesday (May25/21) a transaction did not go through on his end from my bank card. Unfortunately for him. His receipt said cancelled and my bank account did not. I offered him to pay me back the amount taken out in cash and I will pay again or to wait until the money returns back in to my account (which it never did). He then slammed his gear in to park and tried locking the doors (my door was already open thankfully). I got out immediately and told him not to bother because I won’t be continuing the interaction any further. He continued to call me 3 times while I was in the front foyer of my work, had dispatch call me to demand I pay him and even WAITED OUTSIDE OF MY WORK AT 5AM for 10 minutes to see if I was coming back out. I would’ve had 0 issues paying him for the fare, given the money was returned to my bank account or given to me some way (again, which it was still not as of today Friday May 28). I would definitely have your drivers take some sort of customer service courses and even your dispatch. I sat there during the 10 minutes the driver decided to wait for me to leave, and even then the money wasn’t returned. I’ve checked every day since. No money taken has been returned. And yet both dispatch and driver demanded me to pay twice. Bet the driver or dispatch wouldn’t have done that in my position either. Definitely won’t be using them again. Your drive made me feel completely unsafe and he has no patience what so ever.

Last time I took u need a cab it was a complete nightmare. I stated from the beginning of the ride that I will need the debit machine, my driver started driving and told me that the debit machine doesn't work. I said no problem let me get out here and I'll call another cab.he proceeds to keep driving and says "no it's okay I'll take you to the gas station to use the ATM", I said No.let me out here so I can call another cab because I'm paying with debit. I'm also not going to take out X amount of money not even knowing how much this ride is.the driver goes quiet and keeps driving.we're going down Wonderland and it's dark at this point.after what felt like forever but was probably only 30 seconds I said "hello? Can you please let me out of the car? ". My driver waits a couple seconds before responding in a completely different tone, almost whispering but calm now, saying "debit is fine". I was like? You just said the debit machine is broken.his response was something along the lines of yeah it's fine now, with a completely different tone that kind of hinted at 'stop asking questions'.

when we did finally get to my destination after a quiet ride, I didn't tip him.hate me if you want for that however I barely could afford the ride as is and then had to deal with really scary and terrible service, so you can bet that I'm not going to spend my last couple dollars tipping some guy who doesn't deserve my money.this happened a couple months ago and the reason I have decided to post it now is because I noticed that other people were saying the same thing about their driver insisting on an ATM / gas station request.not sure if this is some sort of unspoken thing, maybe avoiding debit fees or perhaps thinking they're more likely to get a bigger tip with more money in your hands? I'm not quite sure what the deal is but I just thought I'd share this weird / slightly scary experience.

Let me save you the trouble and just say order an uber man. This experience happened right after my boyfriend had passed away and it was the last thing I needed. To be reminded while driving down a long dark road, locked in the back of a creepy cab, I have no one so thanks u - need a cab.y'all suck.not even sure how this is still a company.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Doesn’t even deserve a star! Your drivers have road rage issues. Terrible drivers who almost cause accidents and then proceed to swear at other drivers on the roads who have the right of way! And nothing is being done about this. Worst cab company ever!

Took cab #415 yesterday for what was supposed to be a short cheap ride. First of all, the whole ride the driver was making a personal phone call on speaker phone in his native language which I thought was rude and unprofessional. Then we finally get to my place and the debit machine wasn’t working, just kept saying connecting. So he says he’s gonna take me to a gas station to take money out but the gas station turned out to be closed so he took me to a bmo instead but my bank is Simplii (CIBC) so that is gonna cost me quite a bit now. So my $13 cab ride turned into probably double that as a result. Not happy at all! Other cab drivers would have just offered for me to do an e transfer but we spent all that time driving looking for a bank machine instead. Plus all that time, he was STILL on his phone call! So rude.

Cars are clean drivers are respectful but I find they purposely drive slow and try and catch red lights to increase the fair. For instance doing 60 km hr in a posted 100km hr zone and slowing down to 30 100 feet before the light when they could have made it through. One time the driver came to a full stop on a green light because the walk hand count down went to one.the light didn't go red.anyway I've used the 6 time this moth to go to the same place and ranged from $14 - $23 dollars. I'll be using Uber from here on out as I feel like my hard earned money should go elsewhere.

Horrible cab service. They overcharge you and make wrong turns every street, and the communication between you and the driver is frustrating due to what seems to be a language barrier. Most drivers can't seem to understand basic English and sometimes the client can't even understand as well. Not sure if the wrong directions are because of the poor communication or by means of taking the money out of your pockets, but either way is frustrating and even painful to experience. If you value professionalism, accurate information, clear communication and a comfortable ride, do NOT use this company!

Had an extremely impatient / Dangerous Cab (Cab # 1000) from this Co.pull out in front of me two nights ago from Pauline Cres.as I was headed south on Jalna. This driver could not wait his turn to pull out as I had to slam my brakes on and do not know how I didn't hit him. I chased him down (safely, so I could get his cab number). I reported him when I got home. Talked to his Supervisor (Trish) to report him. I asked her to let Upper management know I want to hear from them and I have yet to hear a word. Do you best to avoid this Cab Co.for your own safety.

I have used this cab service for over 30 years for the 3rd time they have driven right by me because its dark I wave my hands they have my number
and have picked me up at home numerous times yet they are to scared to stop so I called another cab fast service lower price do yourself a favor and never call this cab company

I am very upset, tonight at 9: 30 my driver was taking me home and was texting while driving. I am furious I have to pay to have someone endanger my life, I will never be using this cab company again unless this is fixed

The worst cab company in the city. Call uber. Put these con artists out of business. Guy tried to charge me $20 to go 4 blocks. Called to complain next day and lady said I was confused. I was drunk, bit I'm not stupid.

Simply rude drivers with bad body and/or car odours, with dirty vehicles, that are practically falling apart. They also think they own the little strip by Greyhound, parking their cars in handicap spots and blocking traffic while tapping away.
