UC Baby 3D Ultrasound

I had an absolute wonderful experience at UC baby! It is my first baby but second time being pregnant as i had a saddening miscarriage my last pregnancy and have been very scared this time around. It was so nice to have the opportunity to be with my technician, she was so reassuring and kind and made this experience a positive! As well as the receptionist truly made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I am definitely going back for the 3D ultrasound in the future and i’m sure it will be just as amazing!

This was such an amazing experience! From the minute we set foot in the office, the receptionist welcomed us by name and she was so nice and friendly. Made us feel very comfortable. They were also very punctual, and the ultrasound tech (who also happens to be an OBGYN trained abroad) was very efficient and knowledgeable, and made sure any questions we had were answered. She took the time to make sure we had great shots of our baby. I would 100% recommend them.

The staff here are very friendly and the space is very comfortable and pleasant

For those that don't know, you are taken to a private room where the ultrasound is completed. The entire 30 minute session is recorded to a digital video. Along the way, when it is judged that there is a good 3D image, a still picture is also snapped. Upon departure, you are given a memory stick with the full video and all the still pictures taken. Plus, you select a limited number of still pictures that you are given a hard copy. Of course, you can always print your own hard copies from any of the still on the memory stick

As well, you are given a limited number of sample gifts of mother/baby appropriate products as well as gift certificates for still more such products before you leave

The facility (parking, entrance and inside) are all completely barrier-free

Great customer service the receptionist and the doctor are very nice. They were very helpful we had an appointment in the same day we called them because we were in a hurry.

The receptionist is amazing she is so kind, thoughtful and professional. The technician was also very kind and professional even tho the regular technician wasn’t available they had one from Brampton I believe come up for the day!

This was truly a great experience. The front desk/manager was so kind and efficient, the ultrasound tech/doctor was lovely and thorough. We got in super promptly, they immediately offered the washroom (how did they know!? Hah), and the ultrasound was thorough but efficiently run. They offered an upsell (the heart rate bear) but were not pushy at all. This is the first ultrasound where I could see the screen clearly since it's a huge screen and placed in on the wall across from me (in the chair) and my spouse (on a comfortable sofa!). Will definitely be back.

Couldn’t have had a better experience on both of our visits! We went once for an early gender scan, and again for our 3D ultrasound. The receptionist (I wish I had caught her name) was the loveliest woman, and so accommodating while helping us set up our gender reveal. She genuinely seems so happy for all of the parents that come through. The doctor was also very kind and great at what she does. She explained everything in detail, and made us laugh along the way. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to any expecting parent I come across!

I want to start by saying that, while my pregnancy did not end well, my experience at UC Baby was exactly what I needed during these difficult times. The staff's professionalism, empathy, knowledge and kindness truly made all the difference in how i processed information and my grief that came with it. As we hope to try for another baby in the future, I can guarantee we will be visiting UC Baby again if/when the time comes, and I would encourage all of you to do the same. I can say that their services truly put folks at ease and provide the comfort you need in times of anxiety, uncertainty or just curiosity. My family and I 1000000% endorse this establishment. Thank you to the wonderful staff, from the bottom of our hearts.

Amazing place! Staff is amazing and very welcoming! From the front desk up to the doctor. They made my wife and I so comfortable and so happy. The doctor are so informative and very accommodating on your questions! Highly recommended!

UC baby gives you the most magical experience. We went for a gender reveal and it was honestly the best experience we had. I recommend everyone to go to UC baby. The receptionist is such a nice lady and the doctor that did our ultrasound was also super nice. Both ladies are super friendly and make you feel so comfortable.

I had gone here for a 3D ultrasound. It is my second pregnancy but first 3D. I was excited however they didn't ask any questions regarding my pregnancy. It was only during the ultrasound certain things came up such as my anterior placenta. I didn't know that would be an issue yet I was already there. We managed to maybe get one photo but it's very hard to see. They said I could come back and try again but didn't recommend since I was already at the max amount of weeks. They did try to accommodate but I was disappointed that I had to pay $100 when if I had known my anterior placenta and amount of weeks was an issue I wouldn't have bothered. I think there should definitely have been screening questions for eligibility and then up to the customer to continue before being stuck with a bill.

UC baby is an angel in a pregnant woman’s life. At least it is in mine. The staff is very warm and understanding of the worries a pregnant woman has. They give you the opportunity for $45 (Jan 2023) to be at peace and know if your baby is doing well. I feel very lovely in my pregnancy with our health care system as I don’t qualify for a midwife and I am still waiting for my app with the OB. UC baby makes a huge difference in my mental health. Just had such a lovely experience here! I’m from out of town and I’d had some spotting and was worried but don’t have a family doctor here. The staff got me in on short notice for a heartbeat appointment and it was such a relief to get the peace of mind. They were just amazing to deal with too, I highly recommend!

Such kind and compassionate care. These people go above an beyond to make your experience both comfortable and loving. Everybody that is pregnant and can afford it should get an ultrasound here.
My own story is a little heart rending. I have cholestasis of pregnancy very early and despite early intervention am experiencing an early stillbirth.
Usually they don't take ultrasounds this early but they graciously did for me with the most kind accommodation.
I can't thank them enough for the gift they've given me in terms of peace of mind and a little memento of his tiny face, and video of the ultrasound to show my family.

My husband and I had the best time seeing our baby girl for our first time at UC baby! Front desk was so welcoming from the second we stepped through the doors and the Dr.was great in capturing beautiful pictures while trying to get our daughter to move her hands from her face. She was so knowledgeable and made the experience truly unforgettable. Absolutely recommend!

What a truly unique experience! At first we weren’t planning on doing a 3D ultrasound but after our friends did one and we saw the results we had to. The staff accommodated us last minute and they were all super friendly! I would recommend this for anyone eligible. Seeing your baby’s features is a magical experience, especially for us as we are waiting to find out the gender until the baby is born.

This is such a wonderful place to come for an ultrasound! We unfortunately had a heartbreaking outcome with my last pregnancy and Dee and Maha were so amazing and compassionate with how they handled it and were so kind to us. Although I felt anxious and nervous coming back for an ultrasound for this pregnancy, I knew that I was in good hands. We recently got to do our gender reveal session there and it was an amazing experience and my daughter got to be apart of it too. Thank you ladies so much!

We had a great experience at UC baby. They were all really kind and the room was so comfortable. Nice sofa couch for dad to watch on a BIG screen TV that took up half of the wall. We recommend this experience and establishment to anyone looking to see a preview of thier little one!

It was a good experience got lots of photos! Only thing myself and my husband have to say is while filling out the form the front desk person (not Dee it was someone covering for her) started talking about children with disabilities and what she can and cannot handle. Being someone who worked with children who struggles mentally or physically I did find it abit inappropriate. Other then that the rest of the appointment went well the tech was amazing!

Booked our gender scan at UC baby because he wasn’t allowed to accompany me to my hospital appt due to COVID restrictions. ARE WE EVER GLAD WE GOT TO EXPERIENCE THE AMAZING SERVICE, atmosphere and experience! The options and packages are wonderful. We recently returned for our 5D scan, again we were so happy with the appointment, service and experience.
The quality of the pictures and video alone are the best we have ever seen! Highly recommend UC baby!

Booked an appointment with my husband so we can find out the gender together since covid restrictions don't allow him to attend ultrasounds. We were told the baby is DEFINITELY a girl, no doubt about it.
Less than a week later I go in for my anatomy scan and it's a boy. 100% we saw the parts and all.

But it ended up being disappointing since less than a week before we were told definitely girl. We chose a name, went shopping while in Ottawa, started prepping for the nursery, etc.

For the price they charge, I would've liked to have been told the right gender.or at least that they weren't sure but looks like girl.we could've been excited about a boy from the start. The tech was really sure it was a girl, no doubt. I guess they need to train the techs more.
I wouldn't recommend going here!

Amazing, kind and welcoming staff, went a handful of times when my baby didn't cooperate for the gender ultrasound and it continued to go back through out my pregnancy. Beautiful experience every time and my partner was able to be there by my side to see our baby girl grow and move.

My parents did their physical eaxm yesterday for their visa record extend. I have to say it's a lovely and nice place. Not a busy place. Very quiet and comfy. Doctors and staff are very patient and professional. They gave us many tips about the X-ray so we can have a better choice. We really have a nice experience with them. Btw, They can speak mandarin so if you or parents don't know English, here is definitely a wonderful choice. For you.

Me and my partner had an amazing experience! Everyone was super nice and friendly. The technician was very excited to show us all angles of our baby. Everyone was really excited and very sweet to us. Overall, it was the best experience I could have imagined. They gave us the gender in an envelope, so we could save the surprise for the gender reveal. Definitely recommend for all parents especially those planning a gender reveal!

Amazing experience & great staff. Extremely friendly and welcoming. They take the time to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Huge tv screens to really see your baby in depth. Highly recommend doing this to see your little one. Also got the heart beat bear to have as a keep sake. Went for gender reveal in 2D will be returning once further along for 5D.

We had a fantastic experience at UC Baby. From booking the appointment to the ultrasound session, the staffs there were very enthusiastic and professional. The doctor (sorry I can't remember her name) was also amazing. She was patient and helped us a lot to see the baby's face as our little one was not easy at that time. We got so many wonderful pictures as well as a 40-minute video. The new 5D technique made the pictures and video very high quality. It was also the first time my partner had a chance to join the ultrasound during Covid-19. Thank you!

I would recommend this place to any expecting mamma. Especially during covid, having the opportunity to find out something special like the gender of our bub, with my fiance rather than alone was more than amazing. The staff were fantastic and made you feel like they knew you even if you're meeting for the first time. We will definitely be coming back later in the pregnancy for a 3D or 5D scan! This place is amazing!

Absolutely loved this place! UC Baby is a great concept and the staff at this location was so amazing! This was my second baby and my partners first, due to covid he hadn’t been able to be to any appointments so it was so special for him to be able to be in the room with and see the baby top to bottom, hear the heartbeat and we got to find out the gender together. Such an amazing moment. From me calling to make sure I had the location right, to Dee welcoming us and making us feel so welcomed. Right to Maha taking us into the room, which in itself was so comfortable and relaxing. Made our day so special being there. 10/10 would recommend and we will be there again for this baby and any future children.

We went in for the Gender Reveal Session, it was our first visit at UC Baby. The technician took the time to go through the baby’s features with us thoroughly without it being an actual scan. We were having a Gender Reveal Party, so she had us close our eyes while determining the Gender & happily placed it in an envelope for us. I will most definitely be going back for the 5D Ultrasound session & for my next Pregnancy. You are greeted so very kindly, rooms are cozy for both mommy & daddy. We have absolutely no complaints.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The tech/dr is amazing, talks to you and explains things. She tries to get the best pictures possible for an overall amazing experience. Our baby had the ombilical cord in her face, the dr tried a few tricks to move it even gave the necessary time to do so. We really were impressed with the service and the experience.

During the pandemic, only mom can go to appointments. We decided to go to a private clinic so dad could experience the pregnancy. The room was big, comfortable, nice couches and huge Tv to view the ultrasound. We were over all blown away. Definitly would recomend this post pandemic aswell. Definitely going to do this for every pregnancy. This clinic was amazing!

As soon as we entered the doors today, it was SO warm and inviting. Super friendly and accommodating staff, very clean building and social distancing measures where needed.

The room is huge and comfortable and the 75 Inch screen is incredible to see every inch of your Bubs!

The packages are SO affordable and the add-on options are so sweet. We purchased a teddy bear with baby's heartbeat.

Can't wait to go back and see baby as they grow!

I just wanted to take the time to thank Dee and Maha at UCBaby Ottawa for their extraordinary customer service and professionalism.

We are returning customers and we are glad that UCBaby took care of us.

With Covid-19, everything has changed and my husband hasn't had the chance to attend any doctor's appointments or ultrasounds which he wasn't too happy about.
I am at high risk of pre-term delivery and I am trying to do things that will leave a lasting memory on all of us and by all of us I mean my husband and toddler.

First of all, the new location is in a prime location and you don't need to go up or down any stairs which we all know that at 28 weeks it's almost impossible. I really appreciated the accessibility and ease to which you can enter the clinic, once you're there you are greeted by the heart of the clinic, Dee.
Obviously you do need to fill out some questionnaires which is the norm and once you're done you are greeted by the lovely Maha who brings you into the room.
I forgot to mention that at the entrance there are booties and hand sanitizer so we can keep ourselves and the staff safe from covid and other viruses.
The room is extremely cozy and spacious, the lights are dim and there is space for your family to sit and enjoy the experience with you.

Once we started I was asked if I wanted to know the gender and if so if they should tell me of if I wanted it in an envelope, we decided to be told since we were there and my mommy feelings did not let me down.

If I had to use one word to describe the experience I'd say it was MAGICAL because seen you little baby in a regular 2D ultrasound (like at the hospital) and then all of the sudden your baby's face appears and it's like looking at the future, I really cannot explain the feeling, I guess you need to see them to understand. Don't forget to purchase the heartbeat bear they are so precious!

Thank you UCBaby for allowing me experience seeing my baby before she's born, I wish I could go back but two babies is enough for me.

What a wonderful experience! The first time I called and spoke to Dee I was impressed. In the health care field, good customer service seems rare. So when Dee answered the phone and spoke to me about our situation with care, empathy, and compassion, I was blown away. She was just as friendly in person. Then upon meeting the doctor, Maha, I was further impressed. She was personable and answered all our questions. I had a wonderful experience at UC baby last week. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. I got to see my baby and get the gender, it was wonderful that my husband could be with me and see the baby. I had so many of my questions answered and they went above and beyond. Had an amazing experience at UC Baby Ottawa. Dee was so friendly upon arrival and leaving. Maha took the time to explain everything in the ultrasound and answered any questions. I was able to bring my partner with me which was wonderful considering the current pandemic. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The baby was in a position that didn’t allow us for a good view but she kept trying and we were able to get a good view of lil baby.

This place is absolutely wonderful. Being pregnant with my first during a pandemic has sometimes felt isolating when my husband is not able to come in with me to our regular clinic. I had almost given up all hope on sharing those moments together when someone recommended UCBaby to me where my husband could join, with appropriate precautions. I feel my pregnancy and all its milestones is able to be celebrated once again with some sense of normalcy. Dee was absolutely delightful! SO friendly and kind in every interaction, walking in there felt like a family! It was so obvious that Dee is very excited about every patient that comes through those doors and makes you feel very special indeed. We had a very thorough ultrasound and were able to celebrate the gender of our baby together in a comfy, private atmosphere where we felt no stress. Here you are treated like a person, not just a number, and you are celebrated. We also got an adorable little heart beat bear and it just made the experience even better. I would highly recommend UCBaby to anyone wishing to experience their pregnancy in such a positive, fun way.
