This is my first time in udupi dosa restaurant and amazing food also Sushila is nice food server

The best Indian food in the city. I always get aloo gobi and aloo paratha. Everything I have ordered has been delicious, if you want Indian food, you want Udipi Dosa.
The atmosphere has significantly improved since adding the art and improving the walls.

It was a great late night dinner. The server gave us authentic suggestions and the place was really lovely. Food was delicious and came in big portions too.

This is the best place ever, I wish I took more than one photo. Do yourself a favor and go here!

The restaurant had a pleasant and soothing ambience. All the dishes were very tasty with authentic South Indian taste. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

If you're looking for a delicious vegetarian dish with a spicy kick, then the Veg Manchurian from Udupi Dosa is the perfect choice!
The vegetable balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a satisfying crunch that was a great contrast to the soft sauce.

I loved the combination of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors, and the dish had just the right amount of heat to make it exciting without being too hot.

Overall, I highly recommend the Veg Manchurian from Udupi Dosa.

Besides Lovely South Indian food they also serve poori Chana, bhatore and all. Nice preparation. Decent place with affordable prices and fresh food:)

Is this place called Udupi Dosa with a folded hand greeting sign on the board @ 350 Dundas Street, London? This is my last communication to you. You have lost my respect completely.

To be precise, mysore masala dosa, uttapam, masala dosa. 3 guys on the table across the large TV. I mentioned it to your server as well.we were craving for dosa. Which disappointed us. I’m from Mysore and know the taste of a good dosa. Anyways as I said I don’t live in London anymore so no chances of coming back. But Good luck!

I had visited this restaurant when I used to live in London and I remember it being good. Somethings changed and Not an authentic Indian dosa place any longer. We ate 3 different variety of dosas this noon and not a single one tasted authentic. In terms of the ambiance, yes they have improved but the food went down the road.

It was one of the most amazing and tastiest Indian food experience I've had in the last 3 years. The dosa took us back to India and the quality was absolutely unmatched. It is definitely one of the more authentic places where you can enjoy amazingly spiced food without it being loaded with chillies. So glad to have found a place where they understand the difference between food being spiced and food being full of chillies!

And the staff. If I could, I would give the staff here 11 on 10. Such smiling faces and excellent service! Kudos to this restaurant!

We dine at Udupi Dosa frequently. I can say for sure, the quality and taste of the food has been maintained consistently. The staff is very responsive and helpful. We were served by an amazing staff member called “Ash” who provided top notch services.

Great experience at this Vegetarian restaurant. The Food was amazing, so was the service by Ashlesha (Hope I got the spelling right). Her personalized service is commendable, which makes a difference when compared to other eating places. A few interiors can be enhanced to bring out more cultural heritage of the South Indian region "Udipi' the restaurant represents. The menu cards could be revived for better looks. I found the food very delicious. The people were friendly and the Indian Factor can be found on the ambience that makes you feel home. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The Dosas here are extrodinary. Perfectly cooked and the flavours fantastic. Well worth a trip.

We totally got 3 items
1. Chilli onion Uttapam: It is really yum, I love the taste. But only one piece for $8 made me a little down
2. Paper Masala dosa: I love the crispness of the dosa, their sambar is an extra boost to their items. They sell exceptionally amazing sambar. But coming to masala in dosa it’s just boiled potato, no taste at all.
3. Masala Tea: we expected a manually made chai, but turned out to get a machine brewed elahchi flavour tea which is not up to the mark.

First of all, I couldnt even prounce the food name on menu, and so I ask the server to pick the best one for us.

(Masala) Dosa was Ok, Udupam was not my thing honestly, but curry is SO GOOOOOD!

I am meat lover but I can eat their curry for a month.

Will come back and get more curry next time with bunch of Roti

Ohhhhhh and their Mango Lassi is the best Ive ever had seriously.

Been here twice. The dosas here are delicious (and big)! Tried masala, Paneer, and sada dosa so far and all of them have been quite good. Finally a place in London which makes dosas just like the ones I used to have in India. Gulab Jamuns were good too. And to top it all off, the pricing for the dosas is very reasonable for the portion size. Would certainly visit again for a quick disa fix!

The food here is awsum. For a first timer to Indian food this food is delicious and the service is staff is really caring and knowledgeable especially the manager who explained the dishes to me so I could make an informed decision.

I am so sad I didn’t discover this gem of a restaurant sooner! Everything I ordered here was unbelievably good. The vegetable curry was genuinely the best curry I’ve had in my life! I’ll definitely be coming back to order more, thank you to the staff for the amazing food.

Everything is so affordable too, I was so impressed by the quality of the dishes especially for the price! The food is definitely quite spicy, so just be aware if you have low spice tolerance. My spice tolerance is pretty low, but I ate everything anyway, it was too delicious not to!

Had been yearning for authentic and scrumptious south indian food since past couple of months. I found this little place by accident, and I couldn't be happier about that! I had had pepper idli in madurai, since then I was seeking something similar to that flavor which had made such an enduring impression. While browsing the menu, I was instantaneously captivated by 'Manchurian Idli'. I was intrigued and wondered if it was literally as the name suggested. To my sweet surprise, it was! Guess what? I found something closer to that nostalgic taste from a couple of years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed my food! Dosas are fabulous, so are the chutneys. The sambhar is pristine as it doesn't have any color or over the top flavor. It's authentic and balanced. I have made a mental note of the items I desire to try in the future when I shall revisit this place, and I'm excited! Kudos to the owner!

One of the best places in London to be serving authentic south Indian food, right in the heart of London downtown. The variety of the food items is praiseworthy too. A few food items worth trying are schezwan dosa, paneer dosa, onion rava masala dosa, idli munchurian and uttapam. The service is quick and satisfying.

Make a conscious effort to pay a visit to this excellent restaurant in London. The level of service is incomparable. The staff is genuinely concerned about your satisfaction. The cuisine was incredible – everything we tried melted in our lips. It was without a doubt the nicest supper we had while in the city London. Strongly suggested!

They make stupendous south indian food specially Dosas. Must visit it if you wanna take real South Indian food in London. Also, the quality of service that the staff provides doubles the delicious experience

This place is one of the best place for foodie.i think there is no need of review but as the world has gone crazy for review. I ended up giving one due to staff and a handsome young man (Nelson) who suggested us few dishes to be tried good bloke. God bless the younger generation to work hard like him.

Just had a onion ravva dosa, methi vada and masala chai over here and it reminds me of perfect south Indian culture. Go and have fun cheers

I really enjoyed this restaurant, fantastic food and the quality was great. Nelson the manager was really great in assisting us even though it was our first time trying Indian vegetarian food. Would highly recommend for those wanting to experience Indian food. Restaurant is well managed, might have to back and visit when I am in downtown. Great work!

Food was too good. Came here to have South Indian food but ended up trying some North Indian too and was very pleased àt my choices. I would like to especially recommend their mutter paneer and Mysore masala Dosa. The service staff was too good too, thou some people were being mean to them for following the covid protocol they still were trying their best to be kind. Over all too good food and very good customer service - looking forward to visiting London soon and coming back to this restaurant again

We were 3 guys. The guy who attended us asked us senseless questions. He was literally very rude to us. He had no sense how to attend the customers.he was asking more questions than Immigration. We asked him about where the tissue are, to what he replied that go to the washroom and use the paper roll.
How could you guys open a restaurant and fail to keep the tissue papers in stock and tell your customers to go to the washroom if he want Kleenex.
We always go to Indian restaurants but never had such a bad and dumb behavior.

I’m sorry but had to review. We ordered 6 dishes, surprisingly none of them tasted good.

Falooda - Tasted like rose milk with 3 or 4 pieces of vermicelli. Worst Falooda ever tried.

Masala Dosa - uncooked potatoes

You should either think of a new chef. Anyways I wouldn’t recommend anyone to try it.

I woke up from a nap midweek dreaming about dosa but hadn’t found a good place for South Indian food in London yet. This was the first place that Ubereats suggested for dosa, so I got a Mysore Masala Dosa. I kept my expectations low since I’ve been disappointed before but the dosa was really GOOD! Sambhar & Chutney were also great.
They also gave me a complimentary dessert. I’m a little confused by the other negative reviews but anyway this is my go-to place now.

Being a dosa fanatic, this is the only place in london so far that actually serves good and tasty dosa. I have been recommending my friends to try out this place and they weren't disappointed either, so i think it's worth checking out this place at least once.

I am admittedly not a Dosa expert but I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was hot and fresh and extremely flavourful. Very nice spot for veggie cuisine.

Nope, the owner is too biased towards their own menu. Extra $ for extra chutney and sambar just don’t fit right with the dish. It’s like paying extra dollars for extra ketchup for your fries in McDonald’s

Would be nice if you can work on the portion size for chutneys. Chutney, sambar is just not a condiment like a ketchup for fries that people can replace it with something.

Another dosa place who does the same like in places not too far away from London gets an outlet here and your monopoly is destroyed ‍️

We loved the food. I am great south Indian food fan and this is best food I found after trying so many options in the city. Their dosa, idli, vada and chole bhture I ordered and these were super delicious and perfect.everyone should try.

Coconut chutney was tasteless
Sambar was good but weak in flavours (sambar is a bit tangy which was missing here)
Dosa batter lacked fermentation taste
All in all this is better than all other restaurants but there is lot of scope for improvment. This tasted more like an ada than dosa

We went to this restaurant tonight and we loved it. The Dosas and Sambhar tasted super fresh. We haven't had Dosas this good since we moved to London and we are very happy that we have an excellent South Indian restaurant close to our home. Highly Recommended!

This 3 star for food otherwise service was not good as we order pavbhaji not pavbhaji dosa we confirm it when placing the order and still they gave pavbhaji dosa we told to waitress that we didn't order this she took it back and one manager guy come back with RAsmalai and apologize but then we paid the bill n went home check the bill they put pavbhaji dosa in bill instead of pavbhaji and price was not same for both of that items.

I came back again today after a couple of days off posting that above feedback, to my surprise they had my favorite chutney too.

Recently, I found out about this restaurant for the first time, through the web. I was very curious about their food & decided to give it a try. I ordered paper dosa with spicy potato filling. This order was a take out order. Unfortunately, it was a disaster. Eating that Dosa was like, chewing on a piece of leather. So disappointed. Unless, you prepare dosa batter properly, there is no way to get a tasty Dosa. Chef must taste his own creation, before offering it to public. I can not make any comments on any other dishes as I have never tasted them. Staff were very nice & I wish I could say the same thing for the food. I am sure, they will do their best to improve the situation.

1. Mysore Masala Dosa - not enough stuffing
2. Pulav - No taste. Literally I felt like eating boiled rice only
3. Medhuvada - It was good.the only thing that we liked
4. Schezwan Dosa - It was okay buy quantity was too less

Worst experience ever with the quality of food. I think the oil used for food was already used 20-30 times before. Very unexpected and poor quality food.

Very qood quality and tasty food. My kids don't like outside food but they just loved dosas and idlis. Very humble staff and owner!

I was actually waiting for a south canara based restaurant. Tried some of thier dosas, and it didn't disappoint. It was excellent in terms of taste. They got the best sambhar that I have tasted after coming to Canada and the quantity is filling. As a feedback I would suggest them to work on the making of idli and vada. But the pricing of said item is really good. I hope this restaurant keeps the quality and standards consistent with time. All in all, it was a good experience.

This was my first time I ordered from Udupi dosa and it was good. They have a variety of South Indian dishes which other restaurants in london don't care about much. You want something like idli or dosa, this is the place where I will go now in London. I ordered Idli and it was freshly cooked. Sambhar (the gravy) was tasty, a typical South Indian taste. I really liked it. Only one suggestion work on you coconut chutney.
