Unger's Market

The main good value here is the flavoured hot chocolates and fresh made Irish sausage. In my opinion most everything else is REALLY expensive. Overpriced.

Excellent lunches. Roast Chicken is a must have. This is a fantastic place for lunch or just a coffee and a muffin.

Thanks to Ungers Market I get to have a taste of home in the city which is so good for my soul! They have so many different things to choose from this place is definitely worth your time and visit!

Walked in completely oblivious to the fact they were closing in 2minutes. Shopped around without anyone hurrying me along or mentioning they were about to close. Staff offered to get berries for me from the back and the checkout person was super pleasant. Nice little local market with all you need and patient people working there while I (didn’t mean to) kept them past their quitting time. Impressive.

I was there this past weekend and bought home made date squares and steaks. The date squares were excellent. I make my own and Ungers date squares where of the same quality. The steaks were also excellent. I will definitely go back to Ungers.

A nice market with fresh produce, baked goods and meats. To be honest I didn't enjoy their baked good that much. The loaf was dry and the other items had a weird texture. What I really like is the little boutique area of the store where they have woman's clothing, jewelry, scarves and plenty of unique gift items. Outside is an ice cream stand for those hot summer days. There are benches to sit on so you can stay and enjoy your cool treat!

The market is a great place for a quick lunch or to find that perfect birthday gift for that person you can never buy for! So many cool and different gift ideas. Always find a delicious treat from the baked goods area.

Lots of unique gift and ladies wear. Veg, meat and baking fresh. Nice place to take time to look around.

Everything is very fresh and great selection. Tastes like homemade baking. Great gift selection also.

Love this market! The store feels unique and local, filled with handmade, store-made products and lots of character. I love the overall aesthetic and layout of the marketplace.

They have hand written signs throughout the market to display/explain the products, which are really cute and gives the feeling of shopping at a friendly, personable local shop.

Their produce and meat qualities are great. They have store made patties, so many varieties and unique flavours of pies, loaves, cookies, squares, jams, quiches, and the list goes on. (They have chocolate butter tarts, it not only sounds amazing, it tastes amazing). Their pie/quiche crust is phenomenal compared to other brand grocery stores. Delicious! I also really like that they have different portion sizes for the products, for example having a full size pie and an individual/2 person serving sized pie. They also sell Haven's ice cream by the tub!

They have a tea-room which is a lovely space with plenty of windows, unfortunately it's closed due to covid but I would love to come back to relax in the tea-room.

There's a fitting room for anyone wanting to shop their clothes. Overall, a truly lovely market.

A London gem. Best birthday cakes around. Ask for the buttercream icing! Also filled with unique gifts and home decor. Definitely worth visiting Ungers!

Friendly neighbourhood market! I always enjoy my visits here. Quality grocery items and a fantastic lunch counter.

Lovely place to shop. Bought fresh groceries for salad and a quiche. Also a Swedish cloth to use for kitchen clean up doing dishes wipe counter. Impressed.

I had to charge my scooter and not only did they not have a problem with me doing that, I was even offered a drink. The store has a very old-fashion feel and has a great selection of things to buy.

Always a helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful fresh veggies and fruit. Hot counter is fabulous. Oh and the made to order sandwiches are incredible. In our house we call them Ungers fat samich. So delicious

This place is very good, it's a little pricey but you get good quality items. They have a lot snacks and refrigerated items as well as some clothing and purses. If your in the area and want to get some lunch they have great warm items such as chicken, fries and chicken wings, they also make really good sandwiches. The one item that is a must is their cheesecake, one of the best in the city. Lots of free parking out front with a little eating area.

Great place to go for a quick lunch! Fantastic sandwiches made in minutes! Lots of fresh and homemade food choices! Never disappointed! I usually get a fresh made sandwich. You can choose from various meats (beef, turkey, chicken, salami, etc), veggies (onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc), and condiments (mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, etc). You even get a crunchy dill pickle! Highly recommend them!

I'm not much for baked goods but I had to buy a dessert for a family birthday. I bought a cheesecake. I didn't actually have any but everyone who did loved it. They knew I didn't bake it so they asked me where I bought it from.

I've been back a couple of times since. A neat boutique store. A nice change from the corporate stores.

Great selection, lots of specialty items. Good variety in baked goods. Would have been nice if they labeled items with their ingredients. Excellent cheesecakes and tarts.

Charm, down home delicious, scale, some rare specials and lunches with memorable outdoor space. Simply unparalleled!

If I'm ever on that side of town and it is lunch time, I'm heading to ungers for a delectable sandwich. Great prices and oh so good food.

I've also had their cookies and delicious peanut butter chocolate balls. I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Such a lovely little hole in the wall, lovely ladies working here. They wrapped my moms gift for free, and it was beautiful. They have a lot of nice prepared meals, like pasta salads and casseroles. The homemade dill spears are definitely my favourite item.

We were always happy to shop at Ungers.until today. We spent approximately $34.00 for lunch.
Our 2 sandwiches were $14.00 and made with stale bread. The bread was hard and completely unappetizing.
We couldn't even bite the edges at all. We mentioned this to staff and were given 1/2 a sandwich made with fresh bread! Awful lunch! We were surprised!
Too bad. We used to enjoy Ungers.

Quality of the premade food is good, however I find the prices of produce way too high for a market. I suppose if you shop at Metro or Sobeys you wouldn't notice a difference really. For the rest of us that shop at reasonably priced stores, the prices here are way too high. What else do you expect from the Northwestern end of London though?

This is a hidden gem! Not only do they have great home made and home grown foods. Thier deli is phenomenal. I love coming here for lunch.

Also if your a big fried chicken fan and always find that every place that serves fried chicken just doesn't quite get it right.well these guys. I can't even describe it. It's just perfect! Absolutely delicious. Perfectly crispy and crunchy with such tender meat. The spice in the batter is amazing!

Nice little market with a good variety of items to buy. Had a sausage on a bun it was good. If I had more time I would have browsed longer.
This place reminds me more of a country market than just a grocery store. Will be heading back there soon.

I would normally give Unger's a 5 but I am really concerned about the sanitation procedures during this epidemic.
There is nothing available for customers to wipe the handles of your cart. Luckily I brought my own gloves as there were none available.
Unger's really needs to step up.

Just a great place to spend some time. Eclectic mix of items, including clothing, knick knacks, produce, and one of the best bakeries in town. Also, on my opinion, the anchor of what has become the butter tart district in northwest London.
