The killer chicken burger wasn't that good. It was very dry, it came with lots of fries, though.

Food is okay, portions are a little on the smaller size in comparison to the price. We sat out on the patio which was lovely but walking in the carpets smelled really bad. The service was really fast and the servers are very friendly

Beer glass wasn't properly rinsed, so the beer tasted like soap. Had to send it back.

Ordered avocado spread and tortilla chips off the gluten-sensitive menu, but we were served the regular vserion so it was tortilla chips and pita - pita is NOT gluten-free.

Seoul steak bowl rice was completely cold but the cold slaw was warm.

The almond milk for the coffee was clearly bad, had lumps in it.

Took my team from work to this place because it was close by. I ordered the steak frites but it was disappointing, it wasn't over cooked but the meat itself was still tough and dry. A couple other people ordered the Seoul Steak Bowl with similar descriptions of the meat being tough. The server was nice and the kitchen was willing to accommodate a food substitution. The atmosphere was your typical pub-like feel which was what I expected. I wouldn't come back here as the food didn't turn out to be that great even though prices were quite reasonable.

Customer service should be important part of any business, different form service. We got good service generally but one of our party wanted a glass of hot water. They said their hot water machine was broken, and couldn’t get us hot water. We asked if they could use a pot or even a microwave and we got refused? For hot water? We were shocked. Customer service is key in any business and they made a bad call, we still tipped for the service but the owners need to hear this happened.

Great patio in the summer. A good combination of healthy and delicious food is on the menu. Friendly staff. The atmosphere is laid back and great for a business lunch or a casual dinner. Good selection of cocktails and beer, though their wine list is shorter than they publish as the cellar isn't stocked well. We had to get our 4th choice of wine.

Calamari was really good, a decent portion. Comes with one sauce and it's 1$ more for another sauce, not bad. We had these nice seating booths downstairs facing the bar. The waitresses were nice

Server Jeffery was kind and approachable, the spinach salad was delicious truffle fries were great, but could be optimized if cut a little thicker, in my opinion

Dani was an amazing waitress, the food was great and company even better. I love watching and interacting with people that take pride in what they do.

Bad delivery system. I had to wait for my food to arrive. No phone call or anything. Finally, when I called the restaurant, I was told the food is being delivered by Ritual and I should connect with them. I went downstairs to find the food cold in the lobby. In general very bad experience with the restaurant and their delivery system and how they take customers' concerns seriously.
Lack of professionalism.

Always enjoyed coming here, because the service is great. Noticing recently that the food quality isn't as good. The poutine was made with not enough gravy and kraft shredded cheese instead of cheese curds

Very quick and friendly services, Our servers Ethan and Kim did a fantastic job and really offered great service. Highly recommend the heated upstairs patio.

Came into Union social with my friend Abdi, had an amazing experience, food was amazing, the cocktails we had were amazingly made! Ethan was our server, he did a great job and was always attentive. It was my first time here, and I would definitely come back. Thank you for the great experience Union and I hope to be served by Ethan again soon.

Well priced food. Nice space for social distancing. Staff got a little overwhelmed but they corrected their mistake promptly.

A good spot to eat, drink or hang out with friends. Main bar and rooftop patio are both open. 5 minute walk away from Sheppard TTC station. Worth checking out if your in the area.

Staff were great but place needs revamp. Table dirty and we had to ask for it to be cleaned up. Both meals we're not very good. Really disappointed

Shrimp tacos are to die for. If you got served by Arely, you're lucky. She's the sweetest ever and made sure our night was super enjoyable. She should totally pursue a career in bartending but that's just my opinion <3

Staff are amazing, friendly and make you feel like you've been there 100 times even on your first visit. I enjoy the lettuce wrap shrimp tacos (obsessed) and the kitchen is very accommodating to special requests. I would say however that the fruit fly issue around the main floor bar could be addressed. One of the best rooftop patios in North York

I am surprised this place is 4+ stars. The food wasn’t anything special nor was the atmosphere. It was average at best. The fish portion was large however the food was cold when it arrived. The cookies we received for my friend’s birthday were rock solid. Unfortunately, can’t say I recommend this place.

Our server rarely attended our table. He gave us our nachos then just left for 30 min. We were there for more than an hour and hadn’t even received our food. I’m a bit busy day. Food was good tho.

Our 2nd time here this month after group workout and both times the service as been great, safety measures in place and food is enjoyable. Wish there were happy hour specials or weeknight deals but still the drink options and ambiance is great!

I did not enjoy the mushroom burger and i thought it was dry. Shrimp tacos were realy good. Overall good experience and I woulf recommend. Staff is very friendly and fast. Place is clean and social distancing is maintained.

Union Social Eatery provides you with a unique experience unlike any other restaurants in the North York area.
Located right in the heart of North York, near Yonge and Sheppard, Union Social Eatery is a taste to be eaten.
The menu of Union Social Eatery is pretty basic as it does have an array of choices to choose from. Some of those choices include steak, burgers, salad, chicken tenders, chicken, and a tuna bowl.
The drinks provided are pretty basic and they have their own beer on tap which taste really good. I forgotten what it is called but it is something by the name of Dogo.
The customer service provided by Union Social Eatery is exceptional considering the staff is under and everyone works 110% to make sure your drinks and orders come out at the time appropriately.
When I was at Union Social Eatery, I thoroughly enjoyed the Steak Frites and the Ultimate Cheeseburger of burgers. The Steak? Frites was very well cooked and to compliment both meals, they both came with their famous truffle fries, which I highly do recommend.
I will definitely be back to experience Union Social Eatery again.

Great ambience- nice place to enjoy each other’s company! Food was so so. We ordered fries, tuna bowl, and the chicken killer sandwiches which sadly didn’t live up to expectations! The chicken wings on the other hand were quite spectacular!
The waitress services were decent but I assume things went super slow mostly because it’s a Saturday weekend, a very busy time. Been here before during a weekday where everything was better!

I went here on a Friday at 3pm with coworkers. Overall everyone was happy with their meals and we had friendly service. When it came time to pay for our meals (around 5pm) the servers seemed overworked and service was much slower, even though the restaurant still hadn't filled up much. We had informed them in advance that we would be paying separately but it still took over half an hour for 6 people to pay for their meals. Still, a great atmosphere for the area!

Honestly the best staff in Toronto. Great food options whether you are looking for a bite to eat after work, grabbing lunch, or just meeting up with some friends for a drink and want something to nibble on.

We were there for a company lunch. Something must have happened as our food came quite late. Either way, the food itself was great and the manager of the place cam up to us, apologized and comp'ed the entire meal for everyone. Great service and food. Will visit again.

First time eating at U S E, not really busy but it took just over 1 hr from time ordered was placed to get our food. Table of five, 3 burgers, 1 plate of pasta and chicken fingers.
Huge portion of French fries, but the fries were cold, stale and very salty, and the burger meat was a bit dry.
Service was very poor.our waitress was not attentive at all.had to call her over to ask for refills, and just before leaving asked for a glass of water, waited 15 min and water never came.

Will definitely not a pleasant experience and will not return or recommend

This restaurant is currently in heavy rotation for us! We love the restaurant for family dinners and the bar side for date nights. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful, and the food has always been delicious. The menu is diverse enough that everyone can get something they like (including the vegetarian, the pescatarian, and the omnivores in our family) & the vibe of the place always feels super positive. One of our faves!

Chose this great little spot to have dinner with a few friends tonight. Not my first time eating here, absolutely love the environment - lots of fun and entirely upbeat. Our waitress was nothing less than a sweetheart, she looked out for us when I mentioned that our fries were not that appetizing and actually made me slightly nauseated, not the restaurants fault. The manager, sweet gentleman, stopped by our table and offered to discount both our meals due to my unyielding discomfort. He also recommended and served a different side to go with my steak, a mouth-watering flavourful spinach salad. The service and smiles we received for the duration of our stay here was just impeccable. The food not only sweetened my tastebuds but sweetened my mood to boot. I don't think the cooks here knows what they are doing. We ordered nachos, had it made twice because it was so bad and their excuse was because they microwave the nachos creating all the grease. NOT GOOD

Food is decent. Service is pleasant. Little pricy but you get what you pay for. TVs are a bit smaller and not as numerous so I would not suggest coming here to watch a game.

Had a social event at Union Social, and on a Wednesday evening the regular bar of the place was pretty full, however, I found the staff friendly and efficient. The appetizers were pretty good, so if I was in the area I'd try the food too.

Food is always good here and service is friendly, all in a great atmosphere and decor that is modern but still ol-school. Highly recommend the spot be it for a quick drink after work or a full meal with friends and family.

Went there for a big party so can't comment on the regular seating food (maybe it's the same?) - but from what we had the selection and food was good. Would come back if around the area for pub food.

We felt like the entire staff came to speak to us; both the general manager and bar manager stopped by to say hello and gave us free bday shots. Philly steak naan wrap was really good, not too pricey, and the server was really nice. Mojito was average

Generally was a good experience. None of us had any issues with our food. Service was also good. I enjoyed my food but it wasn't something I'd consider to be amazing. Would recommend if you're in the area

Good food an ambience. Upstairs balcony is my favourite part. Only issue would be as a vegetarian there is limited options on the menus, which I am used to at most pub type places. Unfortunately one of the only options is the veggie burger which on two separate locations they have been sold out of.

Salads are still good, but when you have limited veggie options you would think they would keep the only one they have in stock.

I will be honest, I didn't think I would like this place. I've seen many like it. They tend to be expensive and serve mediocre food.

But I was really surprised.

The food is really good and at a fair price. Also the staff are super friendly and helpful.

If its a nice day out, they have a fantastic roof balcony.

Good service but the food quality is HORRIBLE. Poorly prepared. I got a ceasar salad with chicken fingers that made me feel so bad afterwards. I don't recommend the food but just drinks.

Nice place to eat if you want a hip crowd. Love how the general manager always comes around to our table to introduce herself (thanks Esther!) and all the staff are always very knowledgeable and nice. Lots of fish and chicken on the menu, might be helpful to add a few vegetarian meals for those so inclined. Overall nice place to eat!

I have taken my son's girlfriend and then my husband, son and girlfriend for dinner twice in the past 2 weeks. We live out of town so this is a great go to restaurant that is consistent excellent! It's a lively, comfortable vibe where the manager and serving staff are always present, welcoming, warm and aim to please. The food, wine and beer were amazing both times for a group that has a vegetarian, carnivore and individuals with eclectic taste. It can get a bit noisy but it's fun and you can be seated in the back room if you want more privacy. They had a great Thanksgiving event where people brought canned goods for the food bank and we won 2 turkeys! We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service, very friendly staff, the food is amazing, a bit pricey but the area might have a bit to do with it, there is a waiter named Dave there, very friendly and informative and knows what he's doing very well when I went there he was our server and I would highly recommend him, also the management there came to the table to make sure everything was just right the way it was supposed to be which I think is a very nice touch, personally, also at one point I noticed that Dave was serving another customer a bottle of beer and actually took the time to pour the beer in the man's glass perfectly, which in my opinion was a very nice touch, so I highly recommend this establishment if you're looking for a decent tasting meal thanks to all concerned, I was with my wife and sister, and we all had a very nice time, thanks again!

This is about brunch. Hands down the worst brunch I've ever had. The service was very good, but the food. We were 3, ordered 3 different food. The steak was too cooked when we ordered medium-rare. The smoked salmon was cooked (who cooks salmon that is already smoked?), the hollandaise seemed like it was made with oil rather than butter. Our very kind server offered a complementary brownie since we were unhappy with the food and oh the brownie.topped with melted marshmallow and chocolate chips. Didn't dare to taste it. In short: go for the beer and sports, not for the food.

Great place for a relaxed brunch on a rooftop patio. The food is fresh and the drinks are cold and hit the spot. I had the steak and eggs which was on the brunch menu and believe it or not it was already 1PM when we arrived. The steak was perfectly rare as I had requested it and they even managed to put my Sunny side up eggs on top of the steak as that's a pet peeves of mine for this brunch staple. We also ordered their version of a bloody mary (forgot the name) and it was perfectly made with the spices on the rim so you could make it as hot or not as you drank it. Would visit again when in Toronto.

The $5 tacos were great and would be back for them that is what the 3 stars are for. But the server was horrible. He thought talking to co workers and just walking around was more important. Watching the other servers paying attention to their customers and always double checking was wishing we had them so we didn't have to wait 10 - 15 mins for drink refills after he asked we wanted another, couple ppl ate their dinner with no drink. As well we were sat near the bar with our names for the patio but I guess no one left for 3.5hrs to free up space even though the hostess said about 30 mins. And finally when it was time to pay for our table our server put the bill right in front of me, I know you might say it was just an empty space on the table but no I was across the table in the corner so he had to reach over my sister who was actually paying. I begged my sister not to tip due to service but the kitchen staff should not be punished for the horrible service we got from Tevin (you know Kevin with a T he so proudly announced at the beginning of giving the horrible service.

We found this gem at Yonge and Sheppard. A lot of pay parking available. Depends on the time of week you go but very accessible by TTC.

The food was delicious, the patio ambience was amazing, the manager came to see hello something I have never seen in a lot of restaurant in Toronto. The staff was so friendly.

Still shock on the complimentary appetizer. That's an amazing gesture. Don't forget the tasty Ceasar drink on Sundays.

Everyday drink deals is listed on the menu so you don't have to wonder. Just order their amazing food or drink and socialize with your friends.

Solid spot with good food and a good selection of beers on tap. It can get a bit loud when it’s busy, but not overwhelming. Try to snag a seat near the open doors during summer evenings.
