Union Social Eatery

Always friendly servers, the ambience is great and the food is DELICIOUS! A lot of different options, I'd suggest the chicken vidaloo or ace high club. My only critic is it's a little hard to see when they turn the lights down at night. The candles are a nice touch though.

I decided to try this place on a whim and felt like the food was average - good but not great. I got the house braised sirloin firecrackers which were absolutely amazing. They’re basically like beef wontons with a bunch of spice and flavour. For the main course, we got the U. F. O beef burger and killer chicken sandwich which were honestly just okay. They were good but didn’t wow me. The fries that accompanied them were soggy and bland. Overall, it’s a nice place to stop by and try out but not the best restaurant I’ve been to.

Amazed to see big serving portion and presentation. We were the last customers to before closing. Even then they served us well and food was tasty. Keep it up!

Had an amazing time. Our waitress Veronica really enhanced our experience with some amazing food and drink recommendations. She checked up on us all night to ensure we had everything we needed. Fantastic service and great food. 5/5

First timer, and we really enjoyed it! I was surprised it wasn't a little busier because the food, prices, and service were excellent. I loved that they had spinach salad on the menu. You hardly see spinach salad anywhere anymore:)
Breanna was very attentive and made great food suggestions. We'll be back!

First time going there and it was great, the food was good and Tolu was very helpful as I was nervous because I do not go to restaurants a lot, she was so kind and patient and had great recommendations!

Went in yesterday and it was pretty empty as they were having the staff party in the evening. We were looking to order the guacamole with chips but inquired about the feta cheese that is added (as there was a vegan in our party). The waitress asked the kitchen who advised that the cheese is mixed in so we can't get it vegan. We ended up with truffle fries without the Parm and then ordered a new (and confused) item that was avocado, tomatoes, rice? And some veggies with tortilla chips. The food item was so bizarre as chips with rice is pretty random. Anyway, the waitress brought the meal and as she put it down she advised that there is ranch dressing and has dairy. It was advised when it was brought to the table - after the issue with the guac it's odd it wasn't said sooner. In addition the menu never listed the dressing. I ate the dish which wasn't as bad as it is in concept and we finished off the fries. We waited far too long to cash out (there was one other couple dining in) that we had to go to the bar to pay so we could leave and get a real meal elsewhere. It's been a while since I've been to union and it will be a long time before I go back.

Our server Tolu was very kind and attentive, made our experience very enjoyable! Definitely recommend coming to this place.

Just had a great lunch with my SIL’s to celebrate a birthday.
The staff were great and the food. Was good and I would return
However, since when is a main course for 21.50 only come with 7 medium small ravioli? Taste was great but what was supposed to be a main was appetizer size.
Again very busy place with great staff but that dish was disappointing

My server Amanda greeted us with positivity and served me the most amazing killer chicken sandwich. This is the perfect restaurant to grab a bite during lunch.

The place needs cleaning. I was sitting by the window and it was dusty and there were mosquitoes/flies around there. Not really a great look for that.

In terms of food it's the epitome of meh. I got a chicken Cobb salad, the fact that they gave me BBQ chicken which was literally just grilled chicken drenched in BBQ sauce was kind of a let down, super sweet and a SMALL portion.

I also had French onion soup, which was better but not great by any means.

I think there are better options out there.

Place used to be amazing before the new manager took over. Horrible people skills. No QC at all. How could these be given to a customer. It blows my mind

Came in for dinner and was surprised to find the Union Summer Party going on last Thursday. The food and drink samples were amazing, we especially loved the Shawarma Killer sandwich. Amanda kept the samples coming and energy high with her great service. The venue was decorated to fit the theme and really added to the festive atmosphere. As always, the food was amazing and the event was a welcome surprise.

Great food, the melt burger was fantastic. The service is also amazing, shoutout to Amanda for great service.

I was happy to try somewhere hew for my Birthday dinner.
This place was a bit of a dissappinted. The reviews state otherwise.

Walking in the place was completely empty for 7pm, I was nervous about that.

The food choices are a little confusing, there is Indian, Korean.
The chicken wings were good. Dry, but had nice flavour. The drinks were a little watered down. We had to return some.
And portion size for the pasta seemed small compared to the price.

I did receive a complimentary crime Brule, which sounded great.
It looked like baby food. It was grey in colour, and wasn't set. It had a runny consistency. It was so dissappinting.

I'm sorry to say i do not recommend this place.

Great food and service. Amanda made me a fantastic Americano to go with my Bacon Benedict. Highly recommend ordering off the brunch menu when it’s offered!

Had a great lunch today and food came out fast. Amanda, our server, was excellent and attentive to us despite how busy it was. Would recommend this location!

I’ve been here at least 10 times and this is what i have to say.
This is a good place to eat and the service is great. However, i felt that there’s a lack of diversification in food choices especially if you have any dietary restrictions or are vegetarian, vegan or just want to eat healthy food in non-vegetarian.
Most of the dishes are calorie packed and hitting that 1200 calorie mark.
That’s 1.5 times of recommended calories for one meal.
If weight loss is your goal, this place isn’t any different than any other junk food shop.
Other than that, i like the vibe and the drinks are great.:)
I know they do offer salads. But the choices are limited.

PS - This review isn’t against the restaurant. Look at the ratings again. It’s just that they are trying to cater to a wide variety of audience in Brampton and it’s never easy to diversify the menu. Many restaurants would rather cater to one sect of people and totally ignore others. So they are “trying” in that regard and i appreciate it. It’s just a honest review with a grain of salt.:)

Delicious food and amazing service! First time at this restaurant and I must say it's a hidden gem! I ordered the bacon salt Brussel sprouts and the killer chicken sandwich. They explained to me that it was a rotational sandwich that changes periodically. Just as I was about to burst the manager Jason showed me the Mars bar brownie! This thing is too good to pass up! Thanks for the recommendation Jason we'll definitely be back! Big shout out to our server Reny, he was tlreally funny!

Reni was the man! Great service and super nice guy. Returning again to receive this kind of service.

This was a good place. Draught beer is now missing, salads were wilted, chicken on the salad was not done. Too bad. Staff remains amazing, they settled the bill for us but experience not great anymore.
