He has made planning a wedding less stressful and has helped us a lot with everything. He is very understanding and can try to accommodate anything to make your day so special.

Universal provided excellent service and hospitality! Frank and Fabian's help in booking the event and making contract changes was fantastic. Also, Karen was an AMAZING logistics coordinator who worked very hard to make sure all my needs were met. Even the day of, she helped me set up before my baby shower and also stayed throughout to make sure everything was running smoothly and was hands on with help and support. I could not have done it without her. Highly recommend! THANK YOU Universal!

Beautiful place, enough parking, several venues in one place. Several coats storage rooms and several food, salad and drkin station to keep crowd well spread and avoid long lines.

Fancy place but drink menu was basic and not diverse and food was just Italian menu so not something special!

Amazing service, food was delicious & our waiter Devansh was on point throughout the evening!

I just wanted to leave this short review of our experience with The Universal Eventspace.

We had my wife’s 50th Surprise Birthday party at Universal and it was perfect.

The entire staff was excellent, especially Stephanie and Melissa who were my main contact people before and during the event and the bartender whose name escapes me at the moment. (Sorry) She was fabulous and made the best old fashions that I’ve ever tasted.

The food was impeccable. Everything was so well put together and the taste was absolutely phenomenal. I had so many requests from our guest to know how they made that exquisite veal chop!
I, without a doubt would encourage anyone looking for a hall for an event, to be sure to give The Universal Eventspace the opportunity to earn your business. You will not regret it.

I held my bridal shower at Universal eventspace in studio 5 - Stephanie and Lola were a pleasure to work with and ALL of the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The AV was amazing, the venue was spacious and clean, the food was 5 star. I will recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you Universal!

Lola is super accommodating and works hard during the event to ensure that all guests are having an amazing time. She truly adds to the customer service experience. If you do your event at universal, request for Lola! You will not be disappointed.

As a seasoned professional in the wedding industry with extensive experience working with numerous venues in the GTA, I must express my profound disappointment with Universal Event Space. I have never encountered a venue as subpar as this one.

The workers at Universal Event Space displayed a shocking level of disrespect and disregard for the guests’ needs. It was disheartening to witness the managers’ rude and disrespectful behavior towards not only the guests but also vendors and workers alike. This lack of professionalism and courtesy is simply unacceptable.

Furthermore, I strongly urge anyone considering Universal Event Space to think twice before investing their hard-earned money. The venue’s unprofessionalism and disorganization are evident at every turn. The bar staff and serving staff were consistently rude and displayed an unwillingness to accommodate even the simplest guest requests.

To make matters worse, the workers barged into the hall while guests were still present, causing unnecessary distress and pressuring them to leave before the designated time. This kind of behavior is inexcusable and goes against the very essence of hospitality.

However, the most outrageous incident occurred when our vendor’s equipment was stolen by Universal Event Space’s staff. Despite approaching them about the theft, they not only refused to accept responsibility but also shamelessly walked away with the stolen items. This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is truly deplorable. Feel free to check the other review here where an employee stole a guest’s iPhone at another event, it seems like this is a normal occurrence at this venue.

One other thing that stood out was the maintenance manager yelling at everyone in the hall because one of the doors was open (?) Somehow the guests are responsible for keeping the venue’s $47,000/Month (his words not ours) utility costs down. This was just crazy to me and shows how they are running the place.

Considering the numerous issues and utter lack of professionalism experienced at Universal Event Space, I implore you to exercise extreme caution before booking this venue for your special event. The GTA is home to many reputable and professional venues that understand the significance of maintaining strong relationships within this tight-knit industry. I highly recommend exploring these alternatives to ensure a memorable and positive experience on your big day.

I am really impressed with this place the staff were wonderful however it seemed like the general managers Grumpy and it was very evident when they were walking around how they were with their attitudes but the staff was great the place is fantastic clean organized I. Give them all the credit

Great venue for holding corporate gatherings and parties, weddings, gala, conferences, fundraising events, etc.

They have 2 bars, one at the reception and one inside the venue; both of high quality. I strongly recommend trying their Espresso Martinis.

I attended a gala here and it was perfectly organized. The appetizers. Entrée and dessert were delicious and perfectly decorated.
