2 occurrences in 2 years. Misdiagnosed and poorly triaged critical injuries both times! Don’t go here if you are injured.

This hospital should honestly be shut down. Extremely lazy staff. The night staff especially. I know someone that came here for a minor operation, ended up getting a staff infection and passed away. Just brutal. Everyone that works here should be ashamed. Especially that little Amanda girl. She’s a useless doctor and waste of skin entirely.

By far the worst hospital I have ever been to. Emergency wait room. I been here for 6hrs and still haven't seen a doctor. They are saying it might take another 3more hrs. How can people wait that long. Make sure you bring food when you come! They act like I am fasting at this hospital. I had a bad allergic reaction. And still have to wait this long. Good luck with everyone eating junk food waiting to pass away hoping to see a doctor. I thought brampton hospital was the worst until I came here

The callous, uncaring, and frankly, lazy medical professionals in the ER are absolutely horrific. I can appreciate that the cuts to health care and staffing have made things very difficult. However, this issue has nothing to do with that. Not only are those seeking care shamed and embarrassed, they are not listened to, spoken down to and make to feel like a complete inconvenience for asking for a barf bucket or where the toilets are located.
The ER of what was once a world class hospital, has become a place where patients no longer feel safe to seek care.

It was also surprising to see how many health care workers are blatantly disregarding the mask mandate and performing direct patient care whilst unmasked.

For how busy the emergency Room was the staff worked quickly and were happy to help. Thank you.

This hospital emergency room is a joke! Very rude staff, slow, critically ill patients left on floor, severely asthmatic patient left to fight for air in triage, no one is friendly! Had to wait 5 hours then told another 8 hours wait
eventually walked out and glad I did.
Security officer did not lift his head as he was too busy on his phone for hours.

The shape you sent my 81 year old mother home from the ER in is absolutely disgusting. She had a medical event in which she lost her speech and became completely ataxic. Her BP systolic was 210. You all sent her home with a Sulpha drug and your best wishes.
I work for another Canadian healthcare corp and if we ever sent anyone home in this condition, I’d quit on the spot in disgust. Thank you for making me try to manage a stroke patient at home with my 87 year old father and no resources.

My 7 years old son and I experiencing high fever, shivering, dizziness and coughing. I came to emergency early in the morning when no one was there. We waited for than 4 hours while many people who appeared to be healthy and came after us got entertained. When I ask politely the reason of our delay, the receptionist responded rudely, "we entertain based on level of severity and not first come first serve basis". Then I decided to go back home to take rest.

Very bad experience, waiting time is horrible, They don't care you have chest pain or back pain, they don't care you have heart pain, they took 8 hours wait and still nothing response to call inside.
They need more staff, said we don't have beds available, if they will have more staff then they can went through patients frequently, but now patients have to wait out side then inside, it took hours and hours.

I am very concerned about the quality of care at the hospital, which is a function of staffing levels and the scope of work placed on the staff. I worked at this hospital years ago so I recall what was asked of employees back then. The scope has shifted dramatically. I spent time here with my grandmother and was alarmed at all the activities that have been shifted away from support staff and volunteers and on to the nurses. And support staff for the nurses are now thin and volunteers non-existent. I empathize with all involved including hospital administrators- these are not easy problems to solve. But I ask that the hospital administration 1.truly listen to the staff (within the complaints is important information to help you make complex decisions), and 2.find a way to bring families, communities, and volunteers back in the picture more. This is not the level of patient-centered coordinated care I expect from a world class teaching hospital.

Sure surprised at these reviews, although a hospital is never a good experience, it's the staff that make the experience.
I had the best care for my day surgery which ended up being 2 day stay. Marcelle & Taylor on the 2nd floor recovery unit were very kind, caring, attentive and knowledgeable (and overworked!). They went over and above in offering excellent care. As did the resident Dr? (first name Saad) ?
As for the 8th floor post OP unit, , MacKenzie and David rocked! Thank you guys, for making an unpleasant even the best it could be!

The way the nurses and oncoming doctor treated my mom is horrific. I am so livid with the care she didn't receive when she needed to be there! I know the nurses are over worked, but have some human decency and remember why you got into this field! This is the second time my mom has been brought there and they treat her like garbage. She is very unwell. I will be taking this to the news because it is absolutely unacceptable!

Terrible hospital … dirty, smelly. The nurses are rude when you are showing you care for the person you are visiting. I had a nurse basically tell me to shut up today and let her talk while I was asking her questions.if you have your job so much quit … I’m not even from London but if you’re going from out of town I would recommend you not travel here

Whilst there are plenty of issues with our system, starting with the communication between groups, the nurses in the surgical unit are fantastic. Thank-you for taking good care of my sister. We appreciate you greatly.

I was a Senior Resident in Cardiothoracic Surgery. I know first hand about the quality of the the Hospital and all the staff

Have been sitting with a fractured elbow for over 6 hours with no treatment. Wow this is the type of response you don’t get from such hospitals. People seems to be not interested

Worse service ever waited almost 9 hrs just for eye infection. Staff and management is worse, nobody cares about you.
Never ever going to go there.

Doesn't matter how much pain you are in, doesn't matter how much tax you pay - this is horrible service. I have a broken arm, waiting for last 4 hours. Now going back home as I couldn't hold the pain. Such a horrible horrible service. Free medical - my foot. Interesting thing, absolutely no one here, just myself and two three others waiting for last 4 hours. Fire the nurses and docs who doesn't want to do their job.

Very bad attention, today I arrived at the hospital because a vein opened and a lot of blood came out, but when they finally treated me the vein had already closed. They didn't even clean up the blood or disinfect the affected area.

Rude nurses, treat you like garbage for being concerned with your loved ones health, they offer no answers or communication and they said they would contact us when our 63 year old father was ready to be taken home we received no phone call and he was left sitting in the emergency waiting room your hospital staff are completely unaware of how to treat thier patients or the family's concerns you could use alot of work on how you treat people worst experience I've ever had dealing with trying to get even simple answers

Worse emergency ever,
There for 10 hours for stomic pain and doctor couldn’t figure out why pain is not going away.its been many days and now walk-in click doctor found the reason and give me proper medicine.
Dnt ever go there.if you are not dying just go to any walk in

So not use Emergency as at this hospital. Only four people in waiting room and have sat here for three hours with nothing happening. Nurse told me it's because they have to wait for new doctors to come on in an hour.how is there that large of a gap in shifts for urgent care.
