Première chambre pourriture dans le frigidaire et tâche inconnu sur le sol, deuxième chambre air climatisé qui ne fonctionne pas et les lits ne sont aucunement confortable

Hôtel très vétuste, climatisation bruyante, qui ne s’arrête pas quand on la met sur Off, pas de table de nuit pas de téléphone, pas de chaines a la télé, pas de prises électriques ainsi que pas d’interrupteur à côté des lits. Il y avait que des stores pas de rideaux opaques soleil en pleine face tôt le matin, très mauvaise insonorisation. C’est plutôt un dortoir a plus de 200$ q’un hotel!
Point fort: son emplacement en plein centre ville, plein de restaurants et fast food dans les environs.

Je ne le recommande pas.

This place, as the name suggests, is mostly for the students. I found it decently priced for its location. This is right in Downtown Ottawa and is at walking distance to almost all attractions. Before visiting the place, I had read reviews regarding shabby rooms, unclean bathtubs. But on the contrary, my room was pretty clean and gave me a good view of the downtown from the 18th floor. My room had two beds, a microwave, a fridge, a TV and essential toiletries. They are very particular about the check-in times. We reached an hour earlier and had to wait to get our rooms allocated. This hotel is at a walking distance to the famous Byward Market, Rideau Canal, Parliament Hill. One negative point would be the Parking. This hotel does not have its own Parking and the reception people do not even suggest a parking place for guests.

Points PositifS: Prix abordable/Situation géographique/Stationnement accessible sous l’hôtel

Points Négatifs:

- Service à la clientèle: Aucune motivation à répondre aux questions. J’ai eu beaucoup de difficulté à obtenir des renseignements précis pour le stationnement. Des employés (même étudiants) devraient être mieux encadrés et offrir un meilleur service à la clientèle avec une meilleure attitude.

- Propreté: Tapis d’une saleté incroyable, pourriture au plafond de la salle de bain, urine sèche sur la toilette.tout est en ruine dans cet établissement.

- Stationnement: Il faut vous réveiller à 5 a.m. Pour payer le stationnement. Les tarifs du week-end allant de 5 a.m. à 5 a.m.

Conclusion:

Convient pour une seule nuit seulement si la propreté et le service ne sont pas des critères importants.

This is a very worn out place and not worth the price to stay. The pictures on there website are misleading as they dont show the actual condition. The carpet was very dirty, bathroom had molds and the elevator and walls were in a very bad shape as you see in the following pictures.

Not the hotel you might be expecting but to be fair it's mostly for students. The price is also decent since it's walking distance to almost all attractions. The location though, that's a different story. There are a lot of people in the area that's "on something" and I didn't feel safe walking around specially at night.

Found toothpaste in my tub when we first came in. Asked for no service, but someone obviously had come in, and our toilet was broken after room service came.

Rooms are what you'd expect of an old hotel. Bathrooms work and it's nice to have a bathtub but many of the toilets make noise non-stop (at varying levels). Location is pretty sketchy.have witnessed many fights right outside. Only two elevators and you cant take the stairs up from the ground level. Kitchen/common room is newly updated and has cookware but definitely still bring your own basics (induction stovetops fyi). I felt it wasn't worth the price, but it wasn't much worse than other rez prices.
