Dealt with new owners who are trying their very best to re-establish a fantastic customer service response. Transition periods for companies are always rocky. A little time and patience got me my whole order properly packaged.
I have previously dealt with this company and have been very satisfied however, something has definitely changed. When I had a concern about my last order I immediately emailed the company. Then I telephoned and left a message. I did not get a response from either email or phone. This is very poor customer service! I will never do business with this company again.
Ordered a bag of sea moss with my credit card and ship to home address. Its been 12 days and i have received my order.the yare in barrie, im in new market (20 mins from each other) sent an email to see where my order is, and got a response 2 days later asking me to send a copy of my drivers license to prove that i am who i said i am. I have asked for the order to be shipped out with all the legal info i make for all my online transactions. Thought i wound support a small business here, but its looking like i will have rely on getting my order from another small biz, or maybe even amazon. I hope everyone thinks twice about supporting upaya. NOTE TO UPAYA, SEND MY ORDER OUT AS IS AND I WILL CHANGE MY REVIEW. BALL IS IN YOUR COURT.
The customer service at Upaya store are always super friendly and helpful. I usually have lots of questions about the products. Adam made sure, I understood the products I was purchasing. Nice job

I'm glad I read reviews before shopping at new places. I had my cart full of various products until I read about Upaya having false information on their Sunfood cacao powder. And then they even kept it up after being told about it!? Today they still have it listed as RAW when it's not, I looked. Sunfood dropped raw some time ago. I contacted Sunfood earlier. They were very honest. It's that kind of customer service that will keep me buying their products but it wouldn't be through Upaya.
If they had one line of product wrong and still don't have it right, how can we trust anything they sell? It shouldn't be up to the customer to do the research. It's the responsibility of Upaya. To refuse an easy refund, to ignore a paying customer's requests, to shut down their account? No way, that's not a company I want to support.
I was gifted a Humio Humidifier back in January by my mother who orders from this site. After 6 months the humidifier stopped working. I called the store and they asked a bunch of questions, asked for info and pictures emailed. Well after about 4. Emails of them suggesting I did something to the unit to make it not work, they told me I would have to Pay to have it sent away for repair! This item supposedly had a 1 year warranty that they failed to stand by. I will NEVER ORDER anything from these guys again. They do not stand by their products. Terrible Terrible customer service!
