Aziz and his band of misfits that you call barbers are the most unprofessional people I’ve encountered. This guy Aziz thinks he’s above everyone because he “owns” the place. Customer service doesn’t exist here, total lack of regard. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

I took my son in for a cut and it was such a disappointment! My son got a cut by Aziz and his behavior was very unprofessional. This man talked more than focusing on my son's hair cut. He also started making fun of how he looked. As a mom, that's offensive to me.

Most hair cuts are about the same price, so I advise going elsewhere. Unless you want to be made fun of and throw money down the toilet.

2 of the best barbers in the city. Izzy and Aziz. Coincidentally they own the place too. I have been coming to them for some 10 years now and have no complaints. They're fair and very sociable.

Amazing barbershop, my man Abe always comes in clutch with the best cuts. He’s extremely talented and versatile when cutting; from giving me fresh fades to cutting my father, he is able to do it all. Thanks guys!

I went today. Paid $31 for a haircut, it was done in about 20 minutes, the barber was very kind and friendly, did a bang up job and had me in and out and very satisfied. Would recommend and will be back.

Wanted a haircut for my son and came to this place for the first time. The barber (I think his name is Zac) was patient and great with my 2yo, and even gave a complimentary design on my son's hair with no extra charge. Will be returning for more haircuts!

Best barber shop in Hamilton! Highly recommend it to anyone, got my cut from Moe Taper and he killed it. Got it how I wanted and made sure I was comfortable. Felt like a king. He a really down to earth guy and make sure to get your next cut here.

Terrible job on my son's hair, we are going to have to have it fixed elsewhere.
The hairline at the base of his neck is nowhere near even, not even close. There is absolutely no way that Zac could not see this and still he did nothing to fix it. We will take our business elsewhere.

I went to Upper Cuts for the first time today. I was I was not happy with the way the guy was cutting my hair and I told him to stop and that I was leaving. On my way out the door, another guy (who I later found out was the owner) asked me how it went. When I told him it didn't go well, he brought me back inside and finished cutting my hair and did a great job of it. What was definitely a negative experience at the beginning, turned into a positive one. You can tell that the owner cares about his customers and it shows. I will definitely return to have my hair cut again.

My man Abe does a great fade! Keeps me fresh. Check these guys out if you are picky with your hair, attention to detail spot on!

Had a disaster of a cut elsewhere, the owner did a touch up job for me because I didn’t want to go any shorter so he did what he could and he did it at no cost! Wasn’t even his stores screw up! Solid service, went back the next day when I realized I’d have to go shorter because of how uneven the front was and the flare in parts. Abe did an amazing job salvaging my hair, did a nice clean fade.rounded the top nicely. 10/10 would recommend!

I just took both my boys to get their cuts.neither one got anywhere close to the cuts they asked for even with pictures provided. I would stay clear of this place.very bad recommendation

Doesn’t matter who cuts your hair. They all do a good job and if you have an appointment they are always on time I love that

Everytime I need a haircut in Hamilton I go to uppercut. It can be hard to get appointments at times if you don't book ahead of time. But these guys are very good. I usually get my haircut with Ibrahim.

I asked for fade and a line up, dude said he'd give me a mid made. Ended up with a super high fade, totally destroyed my line up, didn't even level the top properly I have patches of hair sticking up. When he asked how it was after i had such little faith in his skill to cut black hair i just left. Im literally driving to Toronto tomorrow to have this fixed.

Maybe they do a good job on other races, but don't try and cut a black guys hair if you clearly know you're not skilled at it.

Do not go here if you're black and looking for a fade.
