I ordered an item from Cabellas and the item shipped from a warehouse in Calgary. When I received the delivery date information from UPS, it was 11 days from the day the item was picked up from Cabellas. Eleven days to deliver a package from Calgary to Ottawa. What? Are they shipping it on a donkey? UPS is the worst shipper in Canada. I would rate them zero if I could. And their customer service is horrible. In addition, the UPS drivers in our area refuse to deliver to our door because we are in a rural area. We have to drive a half an hour to a drop off location to get our packages shipped with UPS. All other couriers such as Fedex, Purolator, Canpar, etc.all deliver to our door. I don't understand why any retailer in Canada would use their service, or should I say, lack of service. My advice, use anyone but UPS.

Absolutely the worst delivery company out there. I have never had a good experience with them. Each time I’ve used this company they have either lost my package, changed the delivery location without my knowledge or just delivered it to the wrong address. When I called them to try and find my package they have literally lied about where the package was, or stated the package was never in their possession, which is the opposite to what the tracking number states. Completely unreliable and no integrity. Use Canada Post or Fed Ex instead.

Terrible courier. Can't figure out simple addresses, delivery instructions and drivers simply don't bother if it's anything out of the ordinary. Literally no other courier service has any issues. Even Canada Post can figure it out. Wouldn't use UPS to ship garbage

Customer service the worst and deliveries too! Not my choice to use this company and if I knew it was, I would pick another delivery company.

I ve sent 2 luggages from Halifax to Ottawa for a next day delivery on 18 Aug, I received only one luggage, the other one is simply Lost! Now after 6 weeks I m still waiting for the 2nd luggage. It have in it clothes and valuables personal items. I m doubting that some UPS employees stealed some valuables and then just remove the Tag Num from the luggage and then the luggage become unknown … the company representative said that the company will pay me around 100s bucks.simple as that!
But I will not give up, some one didn’t do his job correctly, it not acceptable. I am waiting for the investigation, a big luggage can not disappear from Halifax to Ottawa. I have a feeling that some of them are covering each other. This is not a mistake, I need to know if other customer had the same experience in Canada.

I was told by their customer phone support that the centre was open. It was not. On site security told me that it hadn't been on the morning for an extended period. Obviously this information wasn't available to their phone support.

Scamming customers
They didn’t even try delivering my parcel and next day I received a message that they tried but all lies. Nobody called or came. All SCAM.
Then I asked for pickup.
I went to their office and they told me office is closed due to COVID.
Then “”JOHN”” came, very rude and asked me to leave. Without my parcel.
Bunch of unprofessionals running a scam.

Whenever I buy something online and the delivery service is UPS, they never deliver it to my home as indicated. They leave it at a UPS store for me to pick up. Very annoying that they do not deliver it where they are supposed to. That is stealing and dishonest.

Package tracking for medical supplies said delivered to front door. It wasn't there and there was no indication anyone came up the driveway. I checked for the package about 20 to 25 minutes after it was registered as delivered. Even though I was fairly certain due to the lack of footprints in my driveway and the recent fallen snow that they didn't even attempt to deliver it, I searched around my carport and door anyways because I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I have chronic illnesses and extreme cold intolerance. This package search caused me to have severe muscle spasms which required me to promptly take medication I should not have had to take as I was not meant to leave the house, that is why I ordered my medical supplies online after all. The package was registered as delivered 1 hour and 20 minutes before they actually delivered it.

Is UPS going to pay for the medication I had to take because they provided me with misinformation?
Are they going to make up for the kidney damage caused by my medication?
Are they going to take responsibility for the fact their actions harm persons with disabilities?

While I am glad I got my package and it would have been worse had I not received the medical supplies I need, I think it is very irresponsible of UPS to list packages delivered before attempts are even made. It can be very harmful to people, especially marginalized people who are more vulnerable to abuses, such as stolen packages. I would ask that UPS please consider persons with disabilities in their policies, especially since provincially they legally have to. Please stop incorrectly registering packages as delivered when they haven't even been attempted to be delivered.

To many this circumstance is a minor inconvenience, for me it could have meant a trip to the hospital. My life matters too. It matters enough to update policy to properly reflect when a package is actually delivered. That does not constitute undue hardship and in Ontario you legally have to accommodate persons with disabilities in order to operate, the only exemption is undue hardship. There is none here. I could push this and file human rights complaints, or UPS could update policy or address this cultural issue within their company to make sure persons with disabilities and other marginalized groups are not further marginalized by a lack of access. If that means changing your metrics so that drivers have more time to deliver or are paid hourly instead of based on the packages they deliver, then do that. Abusing workers isn't okay either. The burden is on UPS to find a human rights based solution to this that reflects the human rights of all people involved, including the drivers.

Unable to get a hold of the distribution center or have customer service speak with the driver to actually deliver a package in which no attempts were made, ups seems to have an issue with apartment numbers as they state the shipper didnt provide them with one even though my receipt clearly shows an apartment number, and 100% certain the apartment number is present on the shippers label but ups label doesnt which is a big issue when the driver is too lazy to cjeck and the call center employees adont seem to know anything.like and only want to bave the package be redelivered the following day instead of taking actual action to have the package correctly delievred where its supposed to on the day its promised

The boy there said: "you can BUY a new one and we print it then".

There was two package for me, way out for delivery July 30 at 8: 37 am
one of them 12b delivered at 2: 30 PM, asked the driver about the second one which is 14b, he said not with me and after 10 minutes, I got email the delivery attempt and the customer not available! I opened a case and asked them to let me know where I can collect the second one because, still there was four hours to the end of the day! The driver keep the second package with him to next business day which is Aug. 3! He doesn't know how much he harm me! It was easy for him to say come with me down stairs to the car to take the second package in replace of deliver one and keep the second because it's heavy!
by the way, the first package was monitor of computer and the second one is the computer CPU and cause of that I lost four day's of work and waiting to get the second one!

The ups driver is trying to steal my package. He keeps saying the buzz code is not correct, but and I had to call customer service, the river is lieing and saying he made a delivery attempt while I was standing there it updated from out for delivery to delivery attempt made, and I was jn the parking lot! No ups truck nothing! I'm going to sue you!

Delay after delay, trying to tell them to keep my package in Montreal and I'll pick it up, after getting hung up on 3 times, finally told that it's impossible. My live plant shipment was greatly damaged with their delays and being closed on weekends.

So, I just had my car hit by a UPS truck. No Biggie, things happen. The damage is very minor and nobody got hurt. I was only given a number to call by the driver. The driver refused to give me their policy number. I called and asked if the issue could be resolved by just paying for a new mirror. I was told by the manager that this was not a possibility and if I wanted them to cover anything that I would have to go through my own insurance. Fine, fair enough. Try to go through my insurance but I need to provide the policy number. Called UPS multiple times and they refuse to help me. Now, I will be stuck paying a deductible for something entirely their fault.

To update my situation. I had to go to the police station and have the police call UPS to obtain their insurance information.

Racist, rude, and unprofessional. From upper management to their employees, I recieved nothing short of racism, lies, and patronisation. They even claimed rules that they needed to follow in contradiction with the head office because, and I quote, "they're Filipinos". Unbearable and a disgrace to our Canadian values. Disgusting.

Absolutely terrible, tracking is absurdly inaccurate, incredibly late. I understand things are busy now but at the very least keep accurate tracking. Every other company can. In the future any online purchases will be made only from retailers that do NOT ship with UPS.

I am so frustrated with UPS. I was supposed to received a package days ago but could not pay the brokerage fees electronically. I have spent so much time on the phone with them everyday and I get a different message every time. The agents are always very pleasant but they just don't seem to have their act together.

Awful service and no respect for customers at all. My package tracking status kept showing " Schedule delivery today by the end of the day" for at least three days. They failed to be honest and say something like, "We are late, your parcel will arrive by the end of next week, I'm sorry we failed to meet our delivery date". Try to go with a different carrier. It is not about COVID 19 and delays. It is a lack of client respect and value. Awful company and great example of how not to treat your customers.

A little confusing finding the customer office. It is almost hidden in the back behind the parking lot. Maybe some bigger signage would help. Overall a nice place. The staff were great and helpful. Was able to collect my parcels quick and easy.

Have pet food sitting in this warehouse for 30 days after waiting 30 days I hope costco finds a new company ASAP.
