Ordered a lamp from this location, it took well over a month to come which was originally supposed to be less than 2 weeks it's what I was told. I ended up having to take the floor model but the shade was dirty. Once the new one came in thank god we opened it in the store the shade was even worse than the floor model one. Ana however was more than amazing helping me out with this but disappointed that I was never offered a discount at any point for this. She was wonderful tho and very attentive. I'm not sure but this company as a whole has made too many changes that are not conducive with today's shopping experiences. Example most things must be ordered and they take forever, they also have restocking fee when you return something ordered in store or online unless it's accessories. You cannot connect with anyone regarding any issues at customer service it's only through email and a response takes days. They're barely a 2 star rating based on the difficulty of it all.

It was a very pleasant shopping experience. The person who helped us, Lily, was super friendly and helpful. We got answers to all of our questions and left the store with what we needed. Super recommend!

Had purchased an accent chair and decided we wanted a matching one. It was discontinued, however was assisted in finding one that was a floor model at another location in a different city. I live a few hours away but they were able to take my purchase over phone (I’m an established customer), they wrapped it up and I was able to get someone to pick up for me same day.

Unfortunately the warranty doesn’t cover much. Issues with fabric with a brand new custom sofa under a year and they don’t follow up. Took 3+ calls and emails for them to say we won’t do anything. Do not recommend.

I had such a great and friendly experience at this location colossus urban barn. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and accommodating. The lady who help me with my pick up was very lovely. Thanks for being so kind and helpful!

The Rooney duvet cover is amazing. Very rare quality of cotton, hard to find these days. The sales ladies at the UB Colossus are great!

Kim is absolutely Fantastic! She is so patient and really helped me with that I was looking for. I cannot express how much I trust her, she knew exactly what I wanted and she really made my vision come to life.

Bad experience at the Vaughan location. Waited for a sofa delivery that never came, was supposed to be “Quick Ship” and no one ever reached out to me to update me on it. Very disappointing experience and will not be returning.

Why do they close at 6pm on a weekday. Ridiculous.

As I approached the store in shock they close at 6, so did many customers after me. People work during the day and can only make it after work hours. Loosing out on so much potential business.

In July of 2021, I bought a custom made Sofa (the Bronx) I finally received it on December 6/21. AMJ Home delivery services were absolutely amazing, how ever due to the measurements, they were not able to get it through my Condo door. I called Urban Barn and spoke to the salesperson who I dealt with originally and explained the situation to her. She did indicate that I could return it, however there was a re-stocking fee. I went in to see her later in the day and she advised me she spoke with the regional manager who stated they would take the sofa back but the restocking fee would be 30% of the cost of the sofa. I did end up getting another sofa plus 3 counter stools but I lost $660.00. The salesperson was amazing, the customer service was amazing, the store and quality of their products are amazing but I was a little disappointed that even though I bought another sofa and stools at the same place, I still had to pay the 30% restocking fees. Although the new sofa is not custom made, I will not receive it at least until mid February of 2022. I will still continue to be a customer at Urban Barn.

Recently shopped at Urban Barn to get a few things for my new place. The service to start was a little bit slow but I believe that is due to COVID and not enough staff. However once we did receive help from Kathleen I was extremely happy! She was very nice and knowledgeable. She gave me some great ideas to decorate my new condo and did everything she could to make sure I get the items I was looking for! I will definitely be back to shop there again! Also the items in that store are beautiful!

Extremely terrrible place with no help or assistance. No one greeted you or were social distancing and had no mask on. Disgusted with this place and disappointed that this is how people can be treated

First time shopping at Urban Barn. Nice selection and friendly staff. 2 sofas and a picture later I left quite content. Keep up the good work.

Recently shopped at this Urban Barn. The experience couldn't have been better. Lisa was patient, thorough and allowed me all the time I needed to make a final decision. The manager here is very personable and flexible. I ended up buying 4 lovely pieces here. Lisa called around to other stores to find what I was looking for as well. Highly recommend this Urban Barn.

Had a great shopping experience. Sales people were quick to greet me and tell me about promotions. I was very pleased with what I found in the store.

I love shopping for my furniture here! The people are always nice and helpful. Only thing I did not like is how the new store manager Melinda dresses up. I often see her in a short dress. I feel uncomfortable whenever she's helping me, I think she should be aware of what's suited to wear for a job where she needs to bend at times to reach for things. It's not fun to see things you shouldn't see.

NEVER BUYING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN. They charge a 15% restocking fee which they DO NOT tell customers about! Our non-custom couch did not fit down the stairs in our house. Was not unpackaged, still in plastic and we have to pay 600 dollars so they can sell it again for $3500! It was in our house for 10 minutes and went back on the truck it was delivered on. Horrible customer service and rude manager. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING A SALE and not about making customers happy. I work in the marketing and customer service industry and this is not what any business should be doing. I also do not appreciate being talked down to by the “customer service manager” at the store when asking her what my options were. A woman had the exact same issue as myself and she received a FULL refund and for me a full refund was not an option. They pick and choose who they want to help, even when you show them hard core proof of being treated unfairly.
I really suggest head office trains all urban barn sales associates on the importance of making the restocking fee known to customers before any large purchase. Also, for those sales associates who forget to do so, it should be a policy where before cashing out customers have to sign a paper to confirm they accept all your policies. It would of eliminated my situation, loosing me as a customers and also everyone that I tell my situation to.

My sister and I visited the Vaughan location and we had a great experience. From the second we walked through the doors the sales associate (Kim) welcomed us to the store and gave us some time to look around. Kim was very friendly and very patient with my sister and I. When I shared with her what I was looking for (a vignette for my coffee table) she did not hesitate to put together some design options for me. With all of Kim's help I ended up buying one of her design options. So thank you to Kim we will definitely be back for more shopping.:)

I bought a leather sofa. A floor model. The store didn’t have the decency to wipe it up for me. I still paid $1400 for this. It’s absolutely disgusting and when I spoke to the manager she was unapologetic saying it’s a floor model. No decency. Very disgusting.

The staff is really awesome! I had to pick out some decor for my living room and was having a tough time. The staff was very patient and helped me find everything I needed. My living room looks fantastic! Thanks so much!
