Urban Barn Stittsville Grant Crossing

Assistant Manager, Hailey, has been astoundingly helpful following our recent move. We needed to furnish and decorate our home from scratch and Hailey went above and beyond to ensure we found everything we needed and got the best price possible. It's been 6 months since our move and she still reaches out to inform us of upcoming sales for items she thinks we may still need and just to make sure we are still happy with our purchases. Hailey is one of the most dedicated workers I have encountered. Our experience with her and the style and quality of the products will keep us coming back to Urban Barn for years to come.

Be forewarned! I ordered a lamp back in early November from the Stittsville Urban Barn store. At the time of purchase I was told I could cancel the order at any time - to just come back into the store. Half an hour later I purchased a lamp in another store and I went back to Urban Barn in order to cancel my order. I was then told that they cannot cancel orders -that I would have to call head office to do that. I did that the following business day and after two phone calls and lengthy discussions, they said they “figured out how to cancel the order”. However, the charge remained on my credit card! I have never been credited financially for this cancellation. I have made 5 phone calls to them to resolve this issue. Each time I have been given my case number and told that I will be called back or emailed the next day with a solution. I have never been called back or emailed by them. “The cheque is in the mail” is their repeated response. I’ve asked to have a manager call me which they have not. It is now over two months since my original attempt to cancel an order and I have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue. I now have had to involve the credit card company to get my money back. I do not feel that my situation is unique as there are numerous very negative reviews on the main Urban Barn website. Very disappointed in this Canadian company. So be forewarned shoppers! If you have any issue with this company or their products, don’t expect a quick fix. It goes without saying that I will never shop again in any Urban Barn.

Fantastic customer service! Hailey went above and beyond to help me pick out furniture for our new home. She asked about room dimensions and what pieces I was interested in and created design options on how we could organize the room. She then notified me when the specific items were on sale, also helping us save money on the pieces we were interested in. I highly recommend going to this location - all of the sales representatives are so approachable and kind.

Amazing service and “vibe” in the Stittsville location. It was a refreshing change to have such attention and an interactive experience with the sales team. They are engaging, offer solid advice and work beautifully as a team. Always a preferred furniture and accessory store for me but must say that this team really elevated my most recent experience.

The customer service was horrible…Hailey was at the cash, left to go help another customer while we were standing in front of her ready to purchase an item. She mentioned that someone would be with us shortly, but never bothered to get an associate to ring in our item. The worst part is that she kept passing by us multiple times, after 8 minutes of standing waiting there…she finally decided to process our purchase. It was very unpleasant visit to say the least.

I recently bought 4 dining chairs that I had been eyeing for quite some time, I was advised they would be going on sale but I missed the sale. Went in and bought the chairs a few weeks ago. Yesterday I received a call from Mariam a wonderful sales associate who informed me the chairs are on sale this week and to come into the store for a 15% refund. Best costumer service ever. Grateful customer.

I love this store. The staff are much better than the location in barrhaven - they gave us pricing right away and helped us order for our new home.

The furniture came with zero issues, within the timeline specified and was expertly delivered.

The store is always clean and beautifully decorated.

I have a bad experience for your store I order coffee tables and become with no glasses. I’m very disappointed.

The staff were awesome but I was disappointed with the online customer service. I had an issue and filled out the appropriate online form. I received a case number but was never contacted. I finally went into the store and the regional manager was suppose to look into it. Again nothing. It won’t stop me from shopping here again but UB should be aware of their lack of response.

Wonderful experience! Staff kindly held a sale item for us to pick up the following day. The computer chair was exactly what we had wanted and, in fact, was even better than expected. It was a veritable find at a really great price. We have always been extremely happy with the quality of the numerous products purchased and the service provided at Urban Barn.
