Buyers beware that UROSPOT will help all bladder issues. PROS: Caring Staff Cozy environment You sit on a chair to strengthen your pelvic muscles while watching Netflix. Huge improvement in going less day and night during program.
CONS: Cost of procedure is expensive for short benefits. Only got short term benefits while in sessions. Disappointment/frustration as bladder goals are not met. After sessions are done and one size fits all session does not work, you are left with same: bladder issues. Although they provide research on effectiveness of program, depending on what medical issues you have affect your results. The throne/chair is not approved by Health Canada yet so this may affect what bladder issues program is suitable for.
So buyers consult with a medical professional before you go running to UROSPOT with your hard earned money to determine if your bladder condition will be helped long term with the use of the throne/chair.
Very welcoming staff. First appointment went well and Rachel explained the process, took my personal information and had me do a quick trial on the Kegel chair. Sessions all set up and looking forward to this experience changing my life for the better.
I was very hopeful that this treatment would help with my leaking and urgency. Mine was primarily age related - no children or injuries. I followed the regimen of treatments and did the homework. I waited the six weeks for things to settle. Unfortunately nothing has changed. Well, to be fair, something has.my symptoms have gotten worse. I think a one-size-fits-all treatment regimen is a simplistic approach to symptoms that may stem from a variety of factors. I really wanted to believe this could help. Two stars rather than one because the people at the clinic were very friendly and supportive.
