I purchased a used Thinkpad from this location in-person. Immediately, I had to replace it as there were issues with the hinges and screws connecting the monitor to the base of the laptop. Ok, that's fine, owner said, the model was "replaced" and a new laptop was given to me.

What they did instead was gave me the exact same laptop, with the same screw defect, and just taped over it. Silly me, I didn't check carefully, because it seemed that the screen and base was fixed, but alas, a few months go by and the hinge problem returns.

I let the hinge issue continue and handled my laptop very carefully. The screen eventually loses connection with the monitor due to physical damage. No problem, laptop is under warranty.

So I returned the laptop to get my screen replaced and was quoted 100$ for a replacement screen. No problem.

Jokes on me.

I was DOWNGRADED FROM A FULL HD 1080p SCREEN TO A 720p SCREEN WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND CHARGED THE FULL 100$. ANY other repair shop in the WORLD would replace your component 1: 1 upon requested for repair. There is absolutely 0% chance any other place in the world would DOWNGRADE your screen without telling you. If you give a repair shop a laptop with a 4K monitor and they gave you back a calculator screen, you'd be angry too.

Avoid this garbage scam laptop place at all costs.

I bought a used laptop here last October for my work. I'm very happy with it, but 4 months later, I had a technical issue that totally prevented me for using it (black screen with error messages when turning it on). As it has a one year labor warranty, I took it back to the store to found out what was going on. Amy immediately got to work on my laptop, running some tests, opening it and checking the connections. After an hour, she told me that the hard drive might be dead. She kept my laptop for further investigation. 15 min later, she called me on my way home to tell me she had found the issue. The hard drive was fine. It was a setting issue and a loose connection. She could have charged me for a new hard drive. All this to say that Amy is very honest, helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the issues to me. There were no charge. I was so happy to get my laptop back which is my work tool. If you are looking for a laptop at a good price with a really good customer service, this is the place to go.

I had an issue on the first laptop i bought and I was able to have it replaced with another model. Do not go to this store. Chinese owner AMY is rude and a lier. Before buying promises to give service if any problem, but after buying you can see her evil face. AMY is very mean. Products are defective; repaired to last only for a short time; then problem starts. This store is full of chinese scam. Stay away from mean and cheating chinese.
