But every time I go there at this time and they are like kitchen not open till 12
Then what’s the point of 11 am opening time

Food is very tasty. Got kadhai chaiken and kadhai lamb and bot the dishes were sumptuous. Family loved it. Certainly, you must try at least once. The ambiance is not great for sitting and eating.

We did catering from Usmania grill for 30 people and the food was absolutely amazing! The quantity of the food was also a lot! Everyone loved the food. We will definitely be ordering again!

Great staff, reasonable prices and most importantly amazingly great tasting food especially their BBQ items, Biryani, Nihari and Haleem.

Excellent food & service. Love the shrimp biryani, its our family favourite. Tandoori chicken, butter chicken, lamb karhai, seekh kebabs, lamb chops, chicken jal frezi and channa chaat are our other favourites. Worth visiting.
Recently tried their yummy beef and chicken kebab rolls.

I am regular to this place, have great food specially naan and butter chicken is super nice.but during my last visit Air condition was not working and it was super hot.more like a kitchen.we were sweating so much and could not enjoy our food. I hope the management take notice of such situation and rectify. IF A/C is not working properly should have kept the doors open so that fresh air could cool it down a bit and should have note or something about non working ac so that customers might do a take away …

I just went recently and they've reduced their portions by about 20% AND increased their prices. I understand doing one or the other, but it doesn't seem fair to do both. I won't be going here again for this reason.

Love their food. They are one of the old owner of Food time. Chicken karahi tastes just like lahori butt karahi from Lakshmi chowkBeef seekh kebab is a must try and last but not the least yummiest biryani in the town after La Rosh. Portion size is great. Neat and clean sitting area. Overall had a great experience in there and a permanent customer of their lovely cuisine. Highly recommended

Ordered a daal makhani which three people tasted and was clearly rotten. When I came back to the restaurant with the dish and the receipt, they argued with me and said it was fine to eat and refused to give me a refund. Terrible customer service. Never had this kind of experience at other south Asian restaurants before and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

This was my go to place since the last 2 years. Our favorite was a Family Combo for 4 on a Friday. Well priced, good portions. But off late, they have cut down from 4 naans to 2 naans and curry portion sizes have been cut to size as well. The prices have also been increased. I wouldn't mind paying for increased price however, cutting size portions, reducing no.of naans and its size etc, does not entice me to go to this place in the future.

Disorganized and telephone order are always mixed up. You will mostly get food that was ordered by someone else

Highly recommend trying their Chicken Jhal Frezi with Naan. Been craving for it since the day I went there & for the first time, I enjoyed biriyani away from home. Yes, I’m very nit picky about my biriyani as I find the chicken smelly (due to lack of marination) at most of the restaurants I have tried chicken biriyani from.

They are so disorganized that they have a 10 year old managing the cash register and no one to take order from patrons.they don't even have the fastest moving item like samosa ready and available at a prime time such as Saturday afternoon 5: 30 PM. Ridiculous.

I used to order the quarter chicken daily special which came with 4-5 pieces of chicken, salad and nan for $4.99 plus dressing. Lately he has started cutting corners by reducing the chicken pieces to 3 and increasing the daily special to 5.99 and as of today I am told the nan is no longer included in daily special anymore. So I pay 5.99 for a small salad (just salad, carrots and 2 piece of cucumber) and 3 small pieces of chicken legs or thighs.

For a South Asian cuisine I feel completely ripped off. If you plan to increase the price then why remove the nan too. If I wait for regular price then I get the naan. The point is this place has become a rip off ever since Food Times on Kingston rd shut down.

Food is really good worth the 30 min wait some People get impatient and end up with not enough of something or starts complaining bad food. Be patient, the food will be very tasty.

They changed their prices for their food when you go in the restaurant but online the prices aren’t changed. When you get to the restaurant you find out the raised prices or certain items that no longer are part of the combos. Instead of apologizing they try and justify their stupidity by making you look dumb. If it’s not online the restaurant should abide by the prices that are online.

Called to place an order, terrible customer service. The lady on the phone tried saying there is only 2 naans for a family combo for 4. Logically it does not make sense and the website says there are 4 naans in that combo. Instead of rectifying the situation the lady said it wasn’t changed on the website but who’s fault is that the company’s or the customers. Lost my business due to incompetence. The principle is what matters but this business does not have any it seems like. Go to Food time where there is accuracy and food is delicious as well.

Usmania grill is a pakistani cousin restaurant. There BBQ is really and have very good taste and presentable. Chicken Biryani is tasty because it's made with basmati rice. Rest of the dishes needs improvement. Overall it's recommended.

A nice Indian food place. Clean. A decent amount of beef in my Nahari, compared to what I have experienced with other places. I appreciated that they saran wrapped my take out container so it did not leak. Nice was nice and included nice whole spices. Will come back and try more.

Pretty good food. The service was somewhat slow. Maybe it was because they didn't have enough staff. Nonetheless, the food was good and portions were generous too. I will recommend this place. We ordered biryani and seekh kabab. The spice level was regular and it was good enough for me. Kababs were also good and were freshly made. We will visit again.

This was my first time at Usmania Grill, tried their Chicken Biryani, it was really good. So by judging that taste I am confident in saying that this place has some really good food.

This restaurant is a discovery! Arguably the best food you can find in all of Toronto and suburbs. Worth the drive from wherever you are.

Chicken karahi and veal korma are my favorites. Spices are blended perfectly and the meat done very well. Do not miss the beef kabab if you are driving within a 100 mile radius of this restaurant. But ask them not to put all kababs in one big platter if you shall drive out with the food

Customer service is very courteous and helpful. Usually takes 50 to 60 minutes before you can take delivery. Go for it.

Best Halwa Puri Breakfast in the GTA hands down.
2nd time trying their halwa puri this time dined-in, very clean and following proper social distancing. The staff is very friendly. The food was hot and fresh. The puris were great and are quite large, the halwa, Aloo tarkari and choley were really good, and were perfectly spiced and wasn’t too oily.

The best fine dine and authentic Pakistani cuisine in Chicago. We loved it. Try their Kheer. It's simply amazing. Last but not the least, our server Mr. Rafi Ahmad. The most humble, loving, professional person. Thank you Usmania

Their customer service is garbage. The owner doesn't even have a sense how to talk in public. I will never recommend this place for anyone. They don't even deserve ONE

Not recommend at all I drive 45 min to get food. And they messed up with my order. Ordered there bbq platter for 4 beef nihari and tikka roll. It was the worse experience ever the tikka roll was just like shawarma roll and all the chicken was burn. Also beef nihari was like left over from few days ago taste less. I will definitely recommending not to go and don’t waste your money and time. Staff was rude too

I don’t want do discourage anyone from eating here because some of their items are good like full chicken karhai and naans. Tried their nihari and Haleem, it was terrible! Haleem is chicken Haleem and they didn’t tell me. Nihari tasted like any other meat curry with nihari meat. SERVICE IS THE WORST! (they serve you with the attitude like they are doing you a favour by taking your money and giving you food so you should be thankful). All I can say to future customers, Go there if there are no other options left and only order what they make fresh like karhai, naan and whatever else they make fresh. 2 stars because the naans are good and chicken karhai.

Usmania has become a staple in our family. We love the food! The BBQ platter for 4 is an excellent collection of kabobs, rice and naan. Great service as well. Call 1 hr ahead! They are busy because the food is fantastic!

This is what I got after waiting 35min, no respect for complaints and when you going to explain them, they said we just eat it it’s good like seriously, paneer is terribly bad and I told several time them on phone it’s not good but still they saying me I eat it it’s good,
Overall, waste of time waste of money,

Paneer is terribly bad inside and outside as well taste very bad. Rest thing is good but after talking with them I decided not to eat because they think they are right.

Ordered 3 breakfasts and and they gave us stuffing for 1 breakfast. I believe they tricked to save materials and packings. Will not recommend this place for food.

They gave me food that was cold and not fresh, chicken tikka roll and seekh kabab smelled bad. And girl working at cash, she is mopping and giving food to customers without cleaning her hands.

Unacceptable. I bought the meat combo for 2.and everything was soooooo salty. Never in my life had something so salty. I have high blood pressure eating this much salt would of given me a stoke!

Never again don't waste your money.buy something cheaper will be better then place.

I have maybe order more then 40 times from here, every time I place the order it take at least 30 minutes it’s okey but the customer service, really bad sometimes I don’t want to come here anymore. They are always missing up the orders that is always disappointed me. They should improve that.

Called them and asked if they can provide fresh samosas, they said yes and gave 40 mins time. When i reached there, they gave me the existing cold samosas. Definitely not professional

Very bad service, ordered food over the phone, I was told the order will be ready in 35 minutes, I reached there after 35 min and the food was still not ready. Cashiers were really rude as well, really disappointed.

I've been enjoying take out from here for about 3 years, but always held off on reviewing because before the middle of last year I would have likely only given them 3 stars, and it would have killed me to do so because I loved their food so much. However for the first couple of years they hadn't figured out the service side of the business. They were always waay off on their pickup times, however in the past 6-9 months it seems they've finally figured it out. They've got an order numbering system, and now generally if they say to come pick up your food in 30 minutes, it's actually ready and there for you. This has happened now 3-4 times in a row. So I would say that if you have been here and enjoyed their food in the past, but stopped coming because you were turned off by sitting around for twenty minutes even though you came when they told you to, it's time to give them another chance. Order amazing food, and it will likely be ready now when they say it will! Woohoo!

I have to say i enjoyed every single bite of the meal. I had a bbq platter for 4, with a couple of drinks. Considering the quality the price is very reasonable and the customer service is great and friendly

This is my absoulute favourite resturant in GTA. The food is always fantastic and no matter what i order i am always delighted with my meal. Servers are also great and always efficent.happy and polite. Cant esit to return and wouldnt hesitate to recommend looking to eat the best desi food in Canada
