How about sharing some important information with your clients who have no insurance knowledge. My senior mother is purchasing a smaller vehicle so she called them to get insurance on it to pick it up. They said, sorry we can't insure the vehicle even though you have the vin number. You need the ownership changed over and/or a bill of sale. Can't get the bill of sale until the transaction is completed and since it is on a Saturday, no insurance to drive the vehicle home until Monday. AND can change it over without a vehicle to go to the licence bureau with. Here is some important information for people purchasing another vehicle. Under your current vehicle policy, your new vehicle is actually covered with insurance for 14 days under the NEWLY ACQUIRED VEHICLE CLAUSE. This is for ALL insurance companies. Just don't use Vachon because they obviously don't want you to know this or they would have shared that with my Mother who has been insured with them for over 17 years. Very disappointed that they wasted HERS and MY time getting a rate from my insurance company. They wasted my insurance company's time as well. BAD BUSINESS!
