We booked a room at Valentino’s for a 90th birthday party. We were a party of 20 with 6 kids ranging from ages 1 to 8 so were a bit worried about keeping them occupied for a couple hours during dinner but when we arrived there was a separate table set up for the kids with artwork and crayons to keep them busy. What a thoughtful touch by Valentino’s Mgt and a pleasant surprise to start our evening! Food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals and their Tomato Sauce tastes like Grandmas homemade sauce! Lastly was the service. We had a young fellow named Morgan serve the whole group and he was amazing. He kept up with our various requests with a big smile, very professional and friendly. Excellent service, thank you Morgan.
I was expecting more. The prices aren't huge, but neither is the quality. The place is nice, the atmosphere is ok, but that's where the positive things stops. The food is, at most, mediocre, the service was good in the begining, but bad by the end of the visit. I can't recommend it. Doesn't have any resamblance with authentic italian food.
We came here on Valentine’s Day. Great service, and even better food! We had arancini as an appetizer, starter salads and pastas for our mains. We also got dessert to go! Everything was incredible. Only complaint is that there was a crying baby next to us the entire meal. We had headaches when we left.
Edit: Here again for dinner! We reserved a spot on the patio and it was lovely. They recently renovated it so it’s very very nice. Food was incredible again!
Valentino's Restaurant is an absolute gem in the culinary world! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and a charming ambiance that set the tone for an incredible dining experience.
The staff at Valentino's truly goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and pampered. The attentiveness and knowledge of the waitstaff were exceptional, providing insightful recommendations and answering any questions we had about the menu. The level of professionalism and genuine care they demonstrated throughout the evening was truly commendable.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece of flavor, presentation, and creativity. Valentino's menu showcases a delightful fusion of traditional and contemporary cuisine, resulting in a culinary journey that delighted our taste buds.
We started our meal with the Bruschetta with goat cheese, which was a perfect harmony of ripe tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It was a sensational blend of textures and flavors that left us wanting more.
For the main course, we indulged in my favourite Chicken parmigiana that was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and paired beautifully with the accompanying side of spaghetti in their signature pomodoro sauce. Each bite was a taste of heaven.
To end our extraordinary evening, we savored the Tiramisu, a classic Italian dessert with a delightful twist. The velvety layers of mascarpone cream, ladyfingers soaked in espresso, and a sprinkle of cocoa powder created a symphony of flavors that left us speechless. It was the perfect ending to a memorable dining experience.
In addition to the exceptional food and service, the atmosphere at Valentino's was enchanting. The restaurant exudes a sophisticated yet cozy ambiance, with elegant décor, soft lighting, and tasteful music that enhanced the overall dining experience.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a remarkable meal, Valentino's is an absolute must-visit. The combination of impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and a warm atmosphere creates an extraordinary dining experience that will leave a lasting impression.

Came here for my birthday, our server was really nice. Just about everything we went to order though was gone. We got there around 6: 30pm… out of certain beer, entrees, desserts. Decided to get manicotti and the flavor was good but it was dry. Really wish we could’ve tried the risotto.
We started with the charcuterie and it was amazing, we Highly recommend it! I had the panzorotti and it was massive and very tasty. An excellent dining experience
Our server was fantastic (wish I could recall her name). The chocolate Gelato was so yummy and fresh, and the almond cookies were adorable and gluten-free. Perfect little place to go to in Westdale after the Philharmonic or any late entertainment. Of course, the pizza and their signature drink are always amazing as well.
Good place to eat! It wasn't super busy when we visited, staff were friendly and the wait wasn't long for food. My husband said the spaghetti noodles in his meal were a little overcooked and my risotto had the same issue; I'm sure they would have fixed it, but we chose to say nothing and eat it because it was still good. Food portions are great here. Desserts were yummy for those who ate some. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
Arrived without a reservation, and only waited 10 minutes to be seated. It's a very clean place, and the food portions were just right. Parking, however, is really tight in the neighborhood.
We called in for pick up and confirmed a time. Arrived 5mins before our pickup time and our food was not put in yet. Had to wait 30 mins for the order and received no communication
Absolutely terrible experience! We ordered the Alfredo Chicken Pasta (with peas). To summarize the dish, PEAS! The plate was loaded with peas and all we could taste is peas! The worst part of this experience was the young waitress who served us. We told her that we didn’t like the pasta as it the taste of the peas were overpowering and she rudely and abruptly said well sorry, there is nothing we can do… she kept on being so rude and did not give us any alternative. It’s normal and human to feel tired and overwhelmed but come on, she just rushed us through the payment, did not apologize and had a very immature behaviour about it all. In a restaurant, customer service is a must, if you can’t even educate your waitresses/waiters to be decently nice to people, what’s the purpose of dine in? The experience was the absolute worst and we will be sure to let people in the area know how terrible the service was.
