Valentino's Restaurant - Paramount

This place has great food! I'd recommend trying the soup. I've been about 4 times and had the soup each time and each one was a different one but always tasted amazing! Try the veal, it's tasty!

I love their lasagna! The service is great! And the have a wonderful atmosphere that allows for kids

Love this restaurant! We get take-out from here regularly. The desserts are to die for and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Liam was our sever and he was on point. The food we ordered came out so hot and fresh. Everything was delicious and I can totally tell they make their own tomato sauce and meatballs bellissimo!

Great pizza and nice glass of Pinot Grigio! The server was amazing! Sean is an awesome manager!

They didn’t have any selection of cider drinks. The food takes a long time to come to the table which is fine but be prepared to wait. The cost is very high for everything even the non-alcoholic drinks. There was 4-5 servers talking and hanging around the back side of the bar instead of checking tables for their needs. The bar had two people only drinking a beer watching the game. Everyone was waiting for servers while watching these servers chatting with each other and not working. Atmosphere was dark and gloomy.

The food was amazing absolutely wonderful.but when I paid for my meal, I chose 0% tip so that i could leave a $20 bill instead, because I like knowing that it goes straight to the server, but when the waitress saw that I didn't tip on the machine, her face wasn't sad, it was angry and she puffed out a "have a nice day". Seriously.that just gave me the red light on the $20 tip.

Absolutely delicious! Did not disappoint, and will be back again. Our server was friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional; rosé sauce, out of this world. Chose some cookies to bring home and they also did not disappoint. Looking forward to my next visit!

Running the risk of food poisoning/ intoxication or even dying, if I could give 0 stars, I would.
As we went in, at 8: 07pm for dinner the server, drops all menus on the table and walks away, second server (Rachel A) comes in takes our order and says if you guys don't finish you bottle of wine we can put the cork back on and you take it away. It's kind of rushing us out.
The food is the worst ever, linguini a la carbonara, very granny when the sauce is supposed to be creamy, cheesy, and runny.
The linguini fruti de mare came with dead mussels, a really risky situation.
The whole time, nobody came around to check on us. The only good thing about what we ate was the bruscheta and the wine.
I called the manager, who says his name is (Mike, no name tag) and explained what happened and the way we were served.
He dealt with this situation by taking 50% of one of one of the plates and by removing thevother, and that was the end of this traumatic dinner experience.

To the Owner, things you should improve.

1-Customers are paying to be served properly, not to spread their own plates and cutlery on their tables.
2- Customers should never be rushed out.
3- Food should be inspected before served on to the tables, specially mussels, if they continue closed after they been boiled, they are dead and full of mud, should not be served at any point, avoiding food poisoning and potentially deaths.
4- Servers should check on customers more often or at least once before the end of the meal.
5- Criticism should be taken as advice to improve your services and avoid potential harm to business and the paying customers.

The food was good as usual.gnocchi portion was a bit small for the price but other than that good.service by server Paolo was unprofessional, did not seem like he cared to be there.a bit disappointing bc we’ve been a few times before and always had great service from other servers so we expected the same.

Great food as always! I love the spicy pasta and my husband always has the panzerotti. The sauce is amazing!

Valentino’s should be commended for their continued service and excellence in their food. Even through Covid they have maintained the same quality and quantity of food that they did pre-Covid where a lot of other restaurants haven’t. Their prices are still pretty reasonable and I will continue to patronize them. I had the spicy sausage penne today there was tons of sausage very spicy and lots of penne. Kudos to the chef and Valentino’s

The Lasagna, the pasta with seafood and the appetizer were delicious, as well as the desserts. All a delight, I hope to return soon to continue enjoying their delicious dishes. First class customer service. Bravo

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL! My boyfriend was craving lasagna and we just happened to be in the Paramount area. It had been awhile since I have visited Valentinos. I up til now have never had a bad meal. The service was mediocre to say the least. Bruschetta had a harsh overtone of balsamic. Lasagna was embarrassing. After I raved about how good it was going to be. Burried in sauce so it was unrecognizable-presentation destroyed. After a $110 lunch I asked for take out for my canneloni. The waitress had cleaned the table and offered me a takeout container with no utensils to put it in the container and sincerely appeared offended when I asked for a spoon to transfer the sloppy over sauced mess.

Epic fail for out lunch date. (at least company was great) meatballs are still good!

Excellent. Only complaint was I ordered too much. Everything was really good including service waiter was excellent. Can’t wait to go back.

Maybe not as trendy looking or cool downtown vibe, but decent meal and service.

Will definitely go back again, and been many times before.

Dough light and crispy, airy. Sauce is excellent. Fresh ingredients. Great espresso.
Freshly filled cannolis, can’t leave with out having one.

Panzerrotti and pizzas, salad what I ideally get. Guests I have been with had Pasta dishes and parm dishes.

Everyone I have been with including myself always content and keep coming back.

Have been with and without children. Very family friendly. Varying crowd, dating, family, friends, business.

It seems to attract people who enjoy good food and service.

Have been both lunch and dinner and other location In Westdale.

Westdale has a both less parking but, parking across the road. Only good things to say for both locations.

I've been coming for over 20 yrs. Staff is fantastic, I love their food and so many selections to choose from. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped in for dinner today. We had the bruschetta to start, Linguine Alla Chicken for our mains, then shared the tiramisu for dessert. All amazing!

I will also add that the restaurant is beautiful and clean!
