Amazing variety on the menu, very reasonable prices, great taste and friendly service, who could ask for anything more? Highly recommended for vegans and the veg curious alike! Will be coming back.

I’ve been coming here for a very long time, I’ve never had anything less than the best experience! Very kind owners, a great local business, and overall one of my favourite places in Barrie. They give incredible portion sizes, especially for a Vegan restaurant! Typically Vegan places are very expensive, but these guys have their prices just perfect. I usually order the chilli cheese fries, and every time I’m left over with about two or three meal portions when I’m full. I’d recommend this place to everyone

The strawberry soft serve is delicious! I also got a salad and a burger, they were alright but the soft serve will have me coming back

Based on the recommendations and reviews, we visited this vegan place for lunch today. We were a party of six and had ordered some drinks, starters and main course.
We were the only dine-in customers when we went in and two more joined later.
It took way too long to serve us. The main course was not at all good.
The shakes and salads were good but not the other items.
Won't visit again and would also not recommend.
The lady at the counter was courteous, though.

Great experience! Friendly staff, delicious food. My husband is not vegan, but he was satisfied as well. We will come back soon!

Food was all amazing! Whenever I'm in Barrie from now on I'll be stopping here! Honestly some of the best vegan food I've ever had, and it's a very cute location with great service as well:)

Worst fries ever! How do you screw up fries? You pre-make them, then microwave reheat them. Don't know for sure, but my guess is this is what they're doing. Service is a 4 out of 10.

Everyone needs to try their awesome burger. I've tried other items on the menu, but always come back to this one. Great staff and service.

I love valiants. I’m in here almost twice a week. They have such great selection, super delicious, everything is so fresh, prices are great, portion sizes are great, the owners are wonderful. Will always go here!

I cant say enough how much I love this place. Everything is delicious and made in house. The owners are always in the restaurant working hard and treat you like one of the family. I'm not exaggerating when I say I eat here once a week. The best vegan food (and sooo many desserts) I have EVER had! Highly recommend!

Discovered this place about a month ago and I am so happy we did, the food is delicious, the portion sizes are huge and it's all vegan! We make sure to stop by everytime we are in Barrie

Tonight was the first time my fiancé and I ordered from here and we are pleased to say it's absolutely delicious! You won't miss regular cheese at all and they have gluten free options.

We are not vegans but we didn't miss the animal products when eating here.

We both ordered the Awesome burger with the bean patties, greek salad and fries. The portions are large so you won't leave still hungry.

On a side note, I always am very conscious of the environmental impact I have on the Earth so I was pleased to see paper products used for takeout instead of Styrofoam.

We will both definitely be ordering from here again and can't wait to try everything else!

Not sure what happened to Bean Burger, but i like the new place better. Way more options. Huuge menu (5 pages). Really recommend their Pizzas. Herb&garlic cream cheese is great. You can also get frozen fake meats from there. And their milkshakes actually taste like milkshakes. None of that sad sorbet b*llsh*t that you get at other places.

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The people are extremely nice. The food is so delicious. Everything on the menu is vegan. We have tried many dishes. My husband’s favourite is the chilli fries. I love the wings and I’m eyeing up the meatball sandwich. They also make Jerky we typically fight over it lol. Valiants has become our favourite restaurant to bring home for a lock down date night.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to stop in or place an order you should right away!

One of my favourite places to go the food is always good! Milkshakes are the best and desserts Yum yum!

Everytime I travel through Barrie I make sure I make a stop here and filly my belly with plant based goodness! The food here is incredible, and they have probably the largest vegan menu of any plant based eatery I have ever been to.

Staff is friendly, food is fantastic, great location! Please open up a location in Vaughan/Woodbridge!

Nope nope never again! Don’t waste your time or your money. Pre ordered holiday meals, a charcuterie tray and some other items for almost $200. Didn’t receive confirmation with a total, so I called and was told it would be ready for pickup anytime during their business hours. Seems strange, but sure. So I get there to pick it up, and I end up waiting over an hour! Absolutely insane. If I hadn’t already had family waiting and expecting a meal I would’ve asked for a refund and left. What a joke. They offered some free desserts as compensation for having me wait around while they prioritized walk ins and door dash patrons. No explanation for why it took an hour, just a sad apology and dried out brownies from the back, cool, thanks. Poor communication, terrible customer service and sub par food. The only decent tasting part was the charcuterie tray, the rest was cold and either bland or super garlicky. Do not waste your time or your money here.

We absolutely love their Mahalo bowls! They have also been very accommodating of dietary restrictions.

We had a really enjoyable experience at Boon Burger, which is a place personally that I otherwise wouldn't have bothered to give a chance to but just happened to be around. It turned out to be pretty yummy! The servings are pretty large, the atmosphere is relaxed and the burgers are really delicious. The fries are incredibly good. I would recomend Boon Burger if you're looking to try something out of the ordinary that is a classic but wont disapoint.

The "Buddha Burger" is a personal favorite, complete with peach chutney! They do have more traditional options too though. I also recommend staying for dessert, the soft serve and cookies are yum. My friend and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and helpful

Vraiment une bonne expérience! Les propriétaires étaient absolument gentils. Les aliments étaient bons, mais je vous recommande d'eviter les ailes de poulet car ils étaient tres caoutchouteux, n'était pas aimable du tout. En dehors de ça, la soupe était excellent et surtout, la crème glacée à noix de coco! Mium!

Very good food and comfortable atmosphere. They have a lot to offer. I'm not vegan and I enjoyed it. But the prices are just unaffordable. It's not somewhere I would go often.

Ordered at 6: 13pm and had to enquire where our food was at 6: 45. It came at 6: 55. Both orders were wrong, fries and poutine were cold. Obviously, we got our money back. Stay away from this place if you want to eat.

Formerly Boon, same great owners and a new menu that is to die for.

The caesar salad was absolutely spectacularly and the chik'n nuggets with buffalo sauce are a go to if you're looking for something pub like but not deep fried. The haystacks are still there and as amazing as ever.

The service is on point and you're always greeted with a warm face.

Plus for those with kids, Tuesday is Kids Night.

OK, this is Vegan. It doesn't say that anywhere in the restuarant. I was in a rush and the sign said Burger Cafe. I didn't even look at the menu. I ordered a burger to go because I was in a rush. I did think 13 bucks for a burger was expensive, but thought it would be the best burger I ever had. Ooops. Service was great, and I don't fault the staff. I would like a small sign somewhere saying vegan only.unless I missed that too.

The burger was interesting, but not like the original.

Tasty vegan burgers! I like how they're not pretending to be meat, but rather taking the idea of a "burger" and transforming it into a variety of delicious and original creations. I had the Backyard BBQ Burger and it was good, but not worth waiting 40 minutes for. I also had the Hawaiian Pizza and the Not your average poutine (both took an extra 20 minutes to get, even though everything was ordered at once), neither were worth the money. The poutine had to be the worst I've had, I think it's because they bake the fries throughout the day and reheat when they're going to serve, which results in soggy fries.
Additionally when I asked about the serving times, I was told that the single person staff in the kitchen is new and they weren't expecting a rush, but clearly having a new staffer run the kitchen by themselves doesn't seem to be working.

Boon burger was GREAT! A TOTAL VEGAN place to eat! It was delicious and i will definitely eat there again!

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! Both the food and drinks were reasonably priced for the portions. As someone who has never been to a vegan restaurant, this was a great and delicious first experience. We'll definitely be back!

Love the message the restaurant has to offer! Enjoyed the chili cheeze fries very much, and that's saying a lot! I usually would pick poutine over chili fries, but It was highly recommended and they did not disappoint!

Burgers always seem more over done (compared to other locations) and smoothered in sauce for flavour.

Vegan burger joint where the main attraction are the vegan pattys but they are less than 1% of the burger. The coconut milkshake is pretty good tho.

Great place. Great food. Good location. I choose the Reggae burger and my wife took My big fat greek burger with fries. Hamburger buns were cold but the inside was full of delicious flavors. French Fries are baked topped with sesame seeds. They were good but greasy even if they were baked. We also had a double.chocolate cookie and chocolate milkshake. Cookie was abseloutely amazing. Way above expectation.milkshake was very good although too simple, would have liked some kick to it like a mix in the shake and some.toppings.

We drove down from Toronto to this place just to have their burgers and it was totally worth it. The burgers were good, the fries can be improved but overall, one can have a great meal here.
We went for their Pizza burger, mushroom soup and a Bollywood Fire burger with a side of sesame potato fries. Pizza burger was good. So was mushroom soup. Bollywood Fire was actually great. I am not a fan of tall burgers but the flavors were great. Sesame potato fries were a little disappointment in terms of texture and seasoning. We didn't go for poutines for the same reason - if the fries are not good then one can't expect poutine to be great either.
I loved the sheer variety of burgers they have - you can always try something new on every visit. And they are all vegan!
The ambiance is great. They have a good seating capacity as well and the restaurant is quite bright with some great wall art.
Parking can be an issue since the street parking can sometimes be full. We had to park our car two streets away on a Sunday night since all the spots were packed.

The Vision and care that goes into this establishment is inspiring. My vegan burger was pretty good, fries were extremely soggy, and we found it to be pricey.
