WARNING PLEASE BE CAREFUL
THE OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS TRIED TO DOXX ME LOL

She thinks my name is Brianna Smith but anyhooo DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Unfortunately after seeing rave reviews for this place online, we left empty handed as the fashions disappointed terribly.
Was expecting unique, stylish and good quality hand picked fashions curated by someone with taste and what we found was dusty, tumblr aesthetic era items obviously just ordered from already high end suppliers.
Boring. Predictable. Disappointing.
Oh, and whoever we talked there, I assume the owner was horribly stuck up. Waste of time, definitely skip this one.

Edit: nice reply. Seek therapy

I am truly gobsmacked that the experience I had at Valleverde today is so common based on these reviews, and that so many people are being driven away from such beautiful clothes by such atrocious customer service. I have never written a bad review but needed to say something.

I was visiting Niagara on the Lake this weekend with a friend. We drove four hours. On Saturday, we walked by some of the most beautiful clothing in this shop’s window, clothing that was entirely my aesthetic, and I was so excited to make some purchases, but the store was closed. We had plans to stay overnight, so we vowed to come back the next day. We arrived today to find a red velvet rope inside the door with a sign saying only two customers were permitted at a time. Strange, but no problem, we’ll wait. Maybe they are short staffed and want to have a high level of interaction with their customers.

Over the course of 15 minutes, a number of other customers squeeze past us, open the door, see the sign, and leave. We still wait. Eventually, my friend poked her head in as well, as I hadn’t been seen when I tried to enter so we weren’t sure if the sales lady knew people were waiting. The sales lady noticed this time, and came to the door to tell my friend with a very snobbish tone that her hands were full and then closed the door in her face. Nonetheless, we continued to wait, and about five minutes later, an older female customer approached the door, opened it, and saw the velvet rope and sign. The sales lady came to the door right away, very kind and terribly apologetic that the store was full. After a few seconds of friendly chit chat, the door closed again - but the older customer didn’t come back out. I went to the door, opened it, and with a smile, informed the sales lady that we’d been waiting 15-20 minutes to come into her store. She dismissively told me the store was at capacity. Still friendly, I told her I saw the two-person sign, but that another customer had just entered, so I was confused. She just repeated that the store was at capacity, clearly trying to get me to leave. Starting to become visibly frustrated, I told her that the customer that she just admitted had cut in front of us after we’d been waiting for awhile. She said, “yeah well, she’s by herself and she knows what she wants, ” and closed the door. Do you need a secret password to gain entrance to the Fancy Clothes Club? Was I not wearing the right colour lipstick to be invited to sit with the cool girls at lunch? Yes, I’ve seen your replies to other customers suggesting they book a private shopping appointment - we drove four hours to NOTL as tourists, as do MANY others passing through the area, so that is an entirely unrealistic suggestion. It’s truly such a shame that such despicable customer service is driving away good customers from such beautiful clothes. Why do you make so many people feel unworthy of shopping at your store?

The store is amazing and beautiful. But do not shop here unless you are comfortable feeling judged. I browsed the other reviews and saw how everyone really only had an issue with the same women. I shopped here yesterday when two women were working. The older women with white hair was absolutely wonderful. She was kind and patient and made me feel very good about myself. The other saleswomen with long grey hair didn’t start being nice to me until my mom showed up with the credit card. I had just finished a long hike before I came to the store so I didn’t look my best and I could tell the grey haired women did not want me in the store. It didn’t bother me. I’m secure with who I am. What did bother me is how she refused to leave me alone. While I was shopping she was riding my tail. While I was in and out of the dressing rooms she would stand directly outside rushing me. Not everyone has to like or appreciate my presence. But that’s just plain unprofessional. I would have walked right out of the store if it wasn’t for the white haired women. So from my understanding this store deserves 100 stars, the white haired women deserves 1000 stars. The grey haired women deserves 1.

Never judge a book by its cover. Some of the best hearted people, or more accurately heavy pocketed people, since that seems to be their only concern, aren’t always looking their best. I walked in this store with greasy hair, cargo shorts and hiking shoes, but I walked out with having spent over 800 dollars. Every single person should receive the same care despite their appearance. Now I’m not here to just complain. I want to use this platform to maybe help guide the owners to a more successful future.

1- if a business is repeatedly getting horrid reviews because of one worker. Either talk to the worker about it. Or let them go.

2- I understand it’s a high end store and you don’t want to waste your time on people who are just browsing. Then maybe inform the public before they enter the establishment that they have a limited amount of time before they have to either buy something or try something on. (In a nice way)

3- good energy attracts good energy. There are a lot of negative reviews because something negative is happening inside the store. Make it positive.

Had such a great experience. I was drawn in by the window display which reminded me of my time in Ibiza, beautiful crochets, lace and one of a kind European pieces like upscale brand Charo Ruiz. I understand why there is a 2 person policy as the store is so full with such delicate pieces it’s nice to have more of a boutique one on one feel. The stylish women were so knowledgeable and even though I thought I was looking for a dress, one of them curated a very cool cropped detailed sleeve denim jacket for me. (love denim jackets but never owned one bc they usually make me look super boxy and big, I had given up on them). Turns out it was a perfect match, very much suited me and was my style to a T. The fact that she chose something so dead on within seeing me for only a few short minutes just goes to show the level of professionalism, care and style these ladies possess. Looking forward to my next visit, still have my eye on those beautiful off white Italian leather boots x

Are the dresses such cheap quality that trying them on will risk damaging them? The saleslady told me the same thing that many other reviewers have heard, “if you’re not serious about buying the item then we don’t allow you to try it on because of the wear and tear on the dress. ” the saleslady with grey hair and glasses makes it an uncomfortable experience, she makes passive aggressive digs and clearly makes judgements off of appearances.there’s no space for that type of attitude in the field of retail, or really anywhere.you’re not better than anyone else because you work at a “boutique, ” but your attitude tells me you think you are.take a look at the overwhelming amount of negative reviews you have received due to poor service and take some time for a self reflection.

I stop in this store every time I visit Niagara on the Lake and have always found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly creative in terms of helping me find a unique outfit. The shop is overflowing with beautiful boutique clothing, much of it wearable art in my opinion. It offers a unique shopping experience. I understand why they only let in two people at a time. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes and once in there you get the undivided attention of the staff. Well worth the wait! Keep up the good work and seeking out such gorgeous clothing! I love to shop and I love clothes and this is the best womens boutique I have ever been in. Can’t wait till the next time! ️

Clothes are fabulous and the shopping experience was both patient and pleasant. The curation and care put into the selection should be commended.

Would put 0 stars if I could, y'all have the worse customer service ever, you literally fat shamed my friend and told them that they wouldn't fit in a dress they liked then told them they wouldn't have enough money anyways. The only reason I'm leaving a review is because more people need to know about how toxic the staff and owner are and take their business elsewhere to a store that deserves money.

The clothes in their window are gorgeous and always make me want to go in. Once you’re granted entrance — and yes, they make you feel like they’re doing you a favor to let you in — the racks are too packed to see what they have, the salespeople are the rudest you’ll find anywhere, and you’re pressured to try things on and buy them. Save yourself the aggravation and stay away.

Popped in Sunday afternoon. Love the magnolia pearl collection. The most fashionable place to shop when visiting NOTL. Thanks Linda for your patience and wonderful service. I love my purchases can't wait to show them off. Will definitely see you soon.

I have never encountered such a rude salesperson. When I saw a dress I liked and wanted to try it on she told me it was 575.00 dollars as if she was sure I could not afford it. She refused to allow the dress in the fitting room until I had finished trying on the other dresses I had selected. I was tempted to offer to leave my purse with her so that she could be assured that I wouldn’t try to stuff it in my bag. Fortunately there was another very nice saleswomen (with red hair) who was very professional so I did end up buying a dress. It wasn’t the dress that the pushy woman with the hair like straw was guarding so carefully.
If you intend to shop in this store prepare yourself for being treated with little respect.

(we shopped here June 16,2021) I could hardly wait for this boutique to open after the lockdown as there was a special dress there that I had wanted to buy for a special occasion that my daughter was celebrating. There were two sales ladies in the store who could not have been more helpful and kind. They helped my daughter with trying on the dress and made a fuss of how lovely she looked. The dress is beautiful and the lovely sales ladies made the whole experience very special. Thank you so much!

I just can't explain how miserable the staff are at this shop. You walk in and they look you up and down. I'm 50+ and quite successful, yet I was spoken to like a child. I wish these reviews were on their door, because in Niagara it's all walk-by traffic. No one should support this shop. I thought maybe my experience was a one-off, but I see so many others have been treated the same way. Shame on the owners, whom I can only assume not only tolerate but encourage this behaviour.

Oh my goodness, I just read the owner's response to their negative reviews. Everyone is always wrong and they are always right. And the venom that spews out of their mouths even in a public response? Truly and literally shaking my head. Stay away from this shop!

The costumer services in this store is appalling, I never felt so unwelcome in a retail store in my entire life. I ended up buying 2 items from the store, just because I like them very much, I could’ve bought even more probably, but I felt so uncomfortable I just wanted to be quick and gone.
