I’m super pregnant and my order has been wrong twice and they ignored me and when somebody used my card I said it wasn’t me and canceled immediately said they would refund it and never did it’s super unfortunate. Spend most of my income on valley eats this covid but. Also ordered from Zaks 48 dollars to not get my my drinks nor would they get ahold of me. Definitely had better service since moving to Perth though!

Onw if the worst company’s I have had to deal with. On April 16th I ordered Milano’s though Valley Eats and it never arrived despite the app saying it has been delivered. My account was credited but they kept the tip and the service fee.

Last week, I decided to give Valley eats another chance after being quite frustrated the last time I used their app. I ordered a nice meal from courtyard bistro for my birthday today. The order arrived late and when we opened it, we found it was two cold club sandwiches and cold fries as opposed to the meal that had been ordered. I received a credit minus the drivers tip.

After all of this the company refused to refund my credit card directly instead of credits on the app. I have zero interest in ever using this company again and a credit on the app does nothing to help me. Costumer service is impossible to get ahold of and they will only deal with you through their sub par “case” system on the app.

Tonight’s mistake effectively ruined the only plans that my wife and I had for my birthday and it was quite upsetting that such an irresponsible mistake was made, not once but twice. Do yourself a favour and use skip the dishes if it’s available to you in your area!

Really not sure what is up with their ordering system. We order from the same restaurants in person and have no issues. For whatever reason, almost every single order we’ve placed through Valley Eats has been incorrect. Timing seems to be an issue too. Ignore the ETA provided as there will be several delays. Better to order directly from the restaurant and pick it up in person. Are all of these food delivery companies this bad?

Terrible experience. We ordered from Kelseys at 5: 25pm. We received cold food at 7: 15pm (almost 2 hours later) and then eete told fresh food would be delivered to use. We got a notification our food was delivered to only find no food. Got contacted by valley eats to be told our food would not be coming. This is now 2 and a half hours later after ordering and we did not eat dinner due to this happening. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience.

As much of an asset this app is to a small town like Smiths Falls - it’s way to expensive. For one wrap with fries from a restaurant it cost me close to $30 after fees, taxes & delivery fees - doesn’t help when the drivers ask for a tip on top of the outrageous price of one meal. On the restaurants menu the meal was priced at 14.95 when through the app it’s 17.95 and again delivery fees etc. Cheaper for me to drive to the restaurant and pick it up. Tried it once and that’s enough for me.

Terrible service. Delivered cold, soggy food and an incorrect order. When messaged they did not offer a proper resolution.pretty much a big "oh well, not our problem" type of response. Said they would deliver us a side of onions that were not included in our order. I don't mind paying the very inflated delivery charges for service but not for terrible service. I am removing the app from my phone and will never order through them again.

Got a wrong order 3 times in a row, got refund but that hardly makes up for the fact that I was hungry, spent a FORTUNE on service charges, AND TIPS, since I heard these companies don't pay their drivers enough and got incorrect, lukewarm food. Won't be using every again, sorry that's three strikes, better to use Danny's taxi, if you have cash on you.

We’ve been a regular and loyal customer for a little while now so we are shocked how they handled our terrible order from subway in Perth today (Friday July 8th). I want to first say the delivery drivers in Perth have been courteous and professional for the most part.

We ordered 2 steak and cheese footlong subs to be double toasted with extra onions. The subs didn’t have onions and they were soggy and wet… ice cold. They were not toasted. We literally ordered the same thing on Canada day and they were done right.

I raised my concern on the help feature on the app and customer service said that they talked to subway and they said they did toast it and they can give us onions as a resolution and that they couldn’t redo our sub until Sunday when the manager would be in. That is so absurd and ridiculous. It’s just a sub, we aren’t talking about a steak dinner with lobster tail we are talking about a sub to be redone/replaced. You would think that ValleyEats would jump in and offer us a discount or something to make up for the lousy customer service experience from
Subway, nope. Nada.

So disappointed.

Funny how fees go up but their customer service declines. Not sure about that business model!

Slowest deliver service ever. Everytime we order is min an hour and a half to get delivery from less than 2 Kms away. Delivery times are constantly pushed later and later and later. It's an hour from order placed just until the fast food restaurant starts even preparing your order and then by the time it arrives the food is cold. We could drive to the city (30+ mim one way) eat in a restaurant and drive home in less time it takes to deliver fast food in the same town.

Absolute joke of a service. Orders brought are always wrong and they are impossible to get in touch with for customer service when they cause problems. Gave up and charged back at the bank. Would rank 0 stars if i could.

Dont get me wrong, this is a valuable service in our tiny area of Smiths Falls. We order quite a lot but 85% of the time our food is old, cold or missing items. Staff is always pleasant but orders take foooreeevvevrrr to arrive though. If you are going to take forever, make sure the food is fresh and hot or else it will be more worthwhile driving the 10 mins to go get the food yourself and making valley eats obsolete. It takes 10 mins to drive across town so why does it take 90 mins to get subway from downtown?

We had deleted the app a long time ago, and reinstalled tonight because of reasons.its been almost 2 hours since I ordered our burritos and it JUST changed to pending delivery. Something that should take an hour tops in a small town like ours. Ridiculous. Reinstalling was definitely a mistake.

I feel sorry for their employees, the communication is terrible and have a different contact number every day for their workers, the dispatcher is rude and lacks professionalism. They blame drivers for food being cold when clearly the restaurants are responsible and giving cold food or letting it sit too long, I’m not sure but then management tells drivers to pick up pace during a winter storm not caring about their safety…this is profit before care which is sad and drivers sitting for hours idling cars and not getting paid is the reason they can’t keep workers.

The worst delivery company I've ever heard of they consistently consistently bring me the wrong orders and then blame the restaurant which I get it's the restaurant's fault but there's no accountability there's nothing there's just waiting an hour or two to get your correct order and they just say oh sorry we're trying to do better they charge you a minimum of $4 for delivery and that's if your within five kilometers of the restaurant if you're further than that you get charged more now they're charging you a service fee on top of that but for what to get the wrong orders every single time? Don't bother with this company they are truly one of the worst and customer service!

The app has been incredibly buggy for us. Most recently they started their "perks plus" membership program. They claimed that the restaurants had minimum order amounts that would result in free delivery for members, but none of these amounts showed up on our app. My subsequent customer service experience was a huge waste of time. Delivery has frequently been double the estimated amount of time, and the driver leaves the order on the porch without ringing/knocking so it gets cold quickly. I wish we had any other option in the area. Not to mention the service fees (in addition to delivery) are getting ridiculous and unpredictable. One of our orders was charged almost $10 in service fees last week, conveniently an order that qualified for "free delivery".

EDIT AFTER RESPONSE FROM BUSINESS:
I spent almost two weeks emailing back and forth with your customer service. They frequently stop answering when they don't have an answer or sometimes they answer with a generic response as if they didn't even read the email. They advised me that they had identified the issue with the minimums not showing up and had now fixed it, but would not refund my delivery fee on the order I had already placed with no knowledge of the minimum for that restaurant. It's okay to make mistakes and want to fix them, but the customer should not be paying for your issues. We will be cancelling our perks plus membership and doing more orders direct to our local restaurants. It also doesn't help that I witnessed one of your drivers being incredibly rude to staff at a restaurant when the wait for food was too long. Overall I think this service is doing more harm than good to the community and small businesses.

Me and my girlfriend ordered $30 worth of McDonald’s tonight and not only did we not receive are order nothing they gave our was ours, I know we definitely didn’t pay $30 for a 10pc nugget, very disappointed as we couldn’t contact anyone to fix it

Every single time we order from Valley Eats our order is delayed by 1-2 hours at least. Last night we placed our order in Carleton Place at 8: 30 and it didn't arrive until 10: 30, after the restaurant was closed. As such, our food was soggy and cold.

I understand this happening once and awhile, but it's every single time. And if you reach out to their customer service team they'll tell you it's not their fault because there's a shortage of drivers. Why are you open then if this is an ongoing issue? They'll never offer to refund you, even if items are missing. You might get the $2.00 service fee removed on your next order, if they remember to add those credits to your account.

It's unfortunate because we love to support small businesses, but we can't wait for the big players like Uber Eats and SkiptheDishes to come take over soon.

As a customer, valley eats is overpriced, never shows up on time, and is always cold and soggy. As a previous employee, they do not allow their workers bathroom breaks even when they are miscarrying a child bleeding through pants - they still expect them to deliver food like that. Disgusting people.

Ordered from valley eats last night and found out the restaurant and the service don’t communicate. On app it states 3 pc fish and chips, but once we got the order there was 1 pc fish. We contacted valley eats and they stated that the restaurant updated the menu from 3 small pc fish to 1 pc fish but didn’t notify them. This is unacceptable and false advertising. Definitely would not recommend using this service. I have ordered from valley eats a few times before and we always have delivery delays too…. Very disappointing!

Yet another meal not delivered! This is the third time we have ordered a meal and received a notification saying it was delivered.yet no food is here. Customer service told us this evening that the driver buzzed the correct address and even confirmed the order number.yet we received no buzz and no food and now the restaurant is closed. Not to mention the countless times we ordered and received excessive delays in delivery times, wrong and/or missing items, or cancelled orders. The worst delivery service I have ever used.

We ordered from a local restaurant and it took more than 2 hours to get here and only half the order got here. I tried teaching support throughout the process and they were not responsive. Waiting for them to refund some of our money, we hope.

After another 30 min and no food we asked to cancel. No response and still no food. The restaurants send great food, they deserve a better delivery service. Don't order thru this app

We have ordered from Valley Eats more than a dozen times - one of the few companies that will deliver to our area in Ashton…. Or so we thought. We tried to order this evening only to find out that they no longer service our area. I can not express how disappointed and frustrated we are with their decision to only deliver to an area within 7km of Carleton Place.

Service has been so so. Drivers are friendly - but ive had times where my bag was opened and i have had items missing. Bags that were not mine, orders that take hours to come - the one that gets me is the driver dropped all of our food in our driveway, left, and never came back. I had to call customer service just to find out we wouldnt be getting our replacement meal (she said she was getting) cause it was now after 8. Which they moved my time back 3 times.

Its a great service yes, but so much needs to be fixed on their end to better the experience for the customer for the price we pay for the service.

Valley eats had been so great for me and my family, I don't drive and it nice to have other options then just pizza. The drivers are great and professional and any issues support is quick to resolve the issue. The only problem I have and always had is when ordering McDonald's they never fill the order many missing items instead of rushing they need to take time and learn how to fill orders right the first time. It's not right for Valley eats to have to redo order delivery on there mistakes. You guys are wonderful and I'll keep being one of your appreciated customers, thank you

Don’t get me wrong the drivers are super nice and super apologetic, but don’t give me an estimated wait time of 30 minutes if you’re going to take over an hour. Change the wait time if you’re busy.

You pay a delivery fee plus a service fee plus you should tip your driver.

I think it’s a great service but it needs a lot of work in regards to the delivery times.

Very good service during this pandemic.
Helped the smaller restaurants stay in business during this unprecedented times.
With that being said, to get this service in my rural area it is a bit pricey, but just a bit more to the delivery fees that a few restaurants had when they provided their own delivery service.
In a pinch or if you just don’t want to pick up it s nice to have this service now available in the rural areas.

Valley Eats is a good service however their $4.00 delivery charges is false advertising. They also charge $2.00 service fee so the true cost of delivery is $6.00. They should be more transparent in delivery charges. This lowers my rating from being 4 stars.

Great when you've been into the sauce and can't drive. If you don't get your order in early they will be canceled by the restaurant.

I have used Valley Eats 4 times. 2/3 times the food was 4 hours late, the food was of poor quality. I contacted Valley Eats for a refund however they did not respond.
