I only drop off used clothes. I don't buy anything because it is too expensive, I can get brand new cheaper. Also, the store has a terrible smell, I want to vomit.

Pretty good for a second hand store.tje store itself was very tidy and neat. I'm surprised quite a few of the items I picked up were kinda gross and still filthy (hand sanitizer is a necessity). Although we did find some great stuff! I will definitely have to stop back in, I already bragged to my family about my nostalgic find!

Best value village i have ever been to, so clean, so big! The self chekc out is a it weird, but i get it - its the times.

My happy place.is this awesome gentleman working there his name is Tony he makes my day. All the other stuff are quite wonderful as well but Tony takes the cake. I frequent value village a lot and I just have to say I love the place I just wish that the prices would go down a little bit especially considering everything has been donated. Prices on the CDs were $3 were most of my CDs were $1.99. They were only single disc so I really couldn't see why there was a difference in pricing. Other value villages sell their CDs for $1.99 I wish this place would follow suit.

Always a great place to look for used clothing or even decor, I would recommend going once every 2-3 weeks
12 January 2023 14:31
Brand name cloths are high priced, I have seen clothing from some stores that are priced higher then the price they are in the actual store they are bought new from and they have taken out their change rooms.
04 January 2023 4:09
Overpriced items, not sure who sets the prices, but for used items like 4 plates for $5.99 when the entire 16 piece set of the same, brand new is $12.99 from Giant Tiger. Or Dollarama items marked up to $4.99 from $1.

Best value village I've been to! Holy, we found some INSANE deals on hiking boots that were practically brand new! + they seem to restock pretty often because there were new items each time we visited (3× in a week).
09 December 2022 6:29
Overpriced on items that they received for free but can find the occasional good deal. Disappointed they got rid of the fitting rooms.
22 October 2022 0:22
The parking lot is large with pull thru spots. The shelves are full of items. The staff was focused on task over customer but still polite. There are no self check outs at this location.yet.

Found two identical shirts except for color. Same brand, same size, same condition. One had a tag of $6,49 the other nibe. Manager legit priced the shirt for double at checkout. This place is a scam, dollarstore or Walmart items at ridiculously marked up prices.

There's no value in this village. They get the stuff for free and charge way too much. Paid 15$ for three books, not any known authors or hardcovers. Takes away the thrill of the hunt.
21 September 2022 18:58
No AC in this store so hot as a sauna in the summer. 2 hot & uncomfortable to spend time browsing. They closed the change rooms so you can’t try any stuff on & once you buy it you can’t return it. Only exchanges for more stuff. Waste of time to buy stuff take it home to try & then bring back to exchange over an over.
They claim it’s because of covid. SICK of stores blaming everything on covid. They are raising prices. The stock is FREE it is donations. Just to make money off the poor. Don’t bother

Always as clean as a thrift store can be. Well organized. Friendly staff. Prices are too high on many items, but that's the chain's fault, not the local store.
08 June 2022 14:29
If you want cheaper clothes go to Walmart This Valley village is so expensive you might as well just buy brand new Not sure if it's the new manager but it's horrible prices
01 June 2022 3:30
Wayyyyy over priced! Can usually find clothes cheaper brand new. Sometimes you find a diamond in the rough but not even worth the stop anymore tbh.
06 May 2022 19:49
Great store!
Raymond James Silke is a great employee!
He deserves a raise and promotion! And Dawn Anderson
01 December 2020 14:45
I thrift wherever I go.sometimes you find cool stuff and sometimes you don't.that's what thrifting is all about.on the day I visited it.it was a good day.
06 November 2020 16:59
Haven't been there in a while and has it ever changed. Prices are as expensive as new, no deals to be found. Wasn't as clean and tidy as before either. Everything seemed just casually placed wherever.
17 October 2020 23:32
So over priced for second hand goods. It most often cheaper or the same to buy clearance at big box stores. The store is neat and organized and the staff are super though.
16 October 2020 12:31
Lots of small things to look at and buy.a little pricey but not bad.need to be clear a out sign.if they still give money to diabeties or not.have heard they dont so sign may be a disclaimer
15 October 2020 8:15
I find VV is now over priced, you can spend on used clothes and articles there but brand new. Especially if you shop on the reduced rack or Amazon wish. You just need to be willing to look and wait
07 September 2020 13:59
Lots of parking, big store good selection well laid out. A few people not social distancing. But overall everybody with a mask Wednesday in the park. Will shop there again!
06 March 2020 7:39
Sometimes you can find greet finds at fair prices but I've also seen them sell certain items for rediculous pricing. For thing you get donated your pricing is way off. Especially on the winter went there was looking at a Columbia coat it was 149.99 originally and they wanted 69.99 for it at vv. Brand name.or not it was donated and that's just shameful

I am absolutely disgusted by how down hill value village has went over the past few years. We donate to your store and you’s put ridiculous price tags on the items, which I’ve noticed sometimes you can purchase something very similar for cheaper then what you have marked on it. Very sad!
09 February 2020 23:27
Always a good time checking out the weird crazy discarded second hand merchandise they got scattered throughout the store
17 January 2020 19:41
Everything was dirty or stained, very overpriced, the store smelled like urine. One of the worst value villages I've been too
13 January 2020 17:02
Awsome place to shop, especially for vintage items, staff is really friendly, place is well organised and its easy to locate what you are shopping for quickly!
08 January 2020 16:22
It's a used store but most of the staff are friendly, products are generally okay and there is always a great deal to be found
26 December 2019 8:45
Waitress Sheena is awesome. All waitresses are great and the manager is super friendly. Good food good atmosphere And love watching hockey and socializing after work here.
23 December 2019 12:22
Just bought cordless phones and there is a plug missing, and I find they are very expensive for a second hand store $30 for second hand winter boots
19 December 2019 14:42
I shop here, because i'm a poor Canadian.this store always makes me stuffed up.maybe its all the unwashed clothing or dust or something.great place for shopping if your looking for used clothing.like me
22 November 2019 8:46
Went to look for some newborn and infant clothing, what a total disappointment. 6 little bins with the clothing just thrown in, such a mess, I felt like I was rooting through garbage.did NOT buy anything!
17 November 2019 1:54
Love value village! So much fun to look for new treasures. The store is always neat and tidy (the toys are a little nuts, but that's because customers children play with them). Prices are ok, some are a little high for used items, you just really have to know your prices before you shop. We have started shopping almost exclusively at value village mostly for the environmental aspect of buying used items.
05 November 2019 8:22
Prices are autorious @$€££
They they keep going up.
They are a profit company.versus the Salvation Army or church thrift stores.
20 October 2019 6:48
Over priced. You are selling items that were donated, atleast you could do is come up with realistic pricing. I mean, I have actually seen dollar store price tags for $1.25 on items that are listed for nearly $10.
06 October 2019 3:14
The isles could be wider for two carts passing each other. Prices are OK, but viewing the fact everything was given to them, I think prices could be cheaper on used items. Parking is OK. Staff very friendly.
02 May 2019 15:24
Great place for good deals on clothing. Sometimes it seems expensive considering its second hand but even the higher priced stuff is still a third of the cost of new.
01 April 2019 4:41
Some great gems, but the selection of items for men is limited. I suppose stock is limited by what is donated, but I generally leave empty handed and my girlfriend has to pick which of several items she's going to take home.
22 March 2019 17:49
Not bad.they had decent digital cameras with a screen For 5.99 but some stuff was a little crazy like a small cookie jar $20
13 February 2019 14:18
I come here frequently and the staff always is friendly.
I do however ha e to complain about the prices, as they are getting out of hand. At first I considered it is a business and the price hike due to minimum wage may have been the cause. Then I whent to several VV in Ottawa and was amazed that their items were much cheaper.
Way overpriced for a lot of things here!
