Value Village

All time favourite place for quick check and buy some new things. Highly recommended if you want to buy office wear and don’t want to spend a lot of money. I got this nice shirt there.

Was very happy they took our furniture since Goodwill no longer takes furniture of any sort.

Everything is overpriced. (checked out their electronics, records etc). For a business that relies on mostly donations.this company is out for the almighty $$$$ instead of passing these items onto consumers with better prices.
Ridiculous

Their customer service over the phone was very much appreciated. They were welcoming and helpful. Being a thrift store I understand it can be difficult to tell a customer what they have on hand. Three other stores in the area were not that helpful or nice over the phone.
This made us want to travel to this location.

Nice place to get used stuff on f all kind. Note some are cheap compared to new items. Not all things are cheap. Eg bath towels I purchased was $5;49plus tax. Could go across to Winners and get brand new for $7-8

These clothes are donations and the store jacks up the prices. Ridiculous how if something is brand name its overpriced, even if it's old looking and stained. Should be priced for the quality of item, not the brand. Also hate the fact there's NO fitting rooms anymore! Makes no sense. So if you buy clothing and it doesn't fit the return policy is only store credit or exchange. Just sad because this store is meant to help those who aren't rich and seems like the store is profiting off of all the donations rather then helping the lower class.

I hate how expensive bthis place has gotten. It's used clothing people! Also there baby clothing bin is a joke it's so messy it takes for ever to go through it.

Great place and friendly staff, I wish they’d restock the racks a bit more often or change whats out each day, I find myself often looking at things I’ve already looked at. A bit pricier with certain things but overall Good

Lots of selections pretty clean there is lots of cool items. Covid measures in effect hand sanitizer masks must be warn at all the time.

Incredibly over priced for clothes that have been generously donated. Some of the clothes i could buy brand new from the store they came from at a cheaper price. Also, their toys are disgusting. If your going to charge $5 for an $8 dollar toy maybe you should try cleaning them first.

Helpful staff, public health protocol observed. Wide array/variety of second hand items for sale. Fair prices, most of the time.

I used to go there seven days a week before the lockdown to buy interesting books and home decoration items. Here I'm talking about the one located on Walker road and not the one located on Tecumseh East where I could smell something weird that I can only describe as rotten socks from the 1940s.

The Walker road location is extremely clean with very respectful staff and friendly environment. But I quit definitely visiting the Tecumseh East location because of the bad smell, the careless workers and the extremely overpriced items from used socks to used shirts. Their used 1970s clothes style are quadruple the price of a brand new Ralph Lauren Polo sold at the Bay or any other clothing store at Devonshire Mall.

I can't wait until the one on Walker road will open because I can spend hours there enjoying the clean environment and the most amazing and respectful staff.
We missed you guys.

I generally don't care for Value Village, but I went along with a friend. The experience was fine, the cashier was very friendly. I like that they have paper bags. Items were hanging up/on shelves and not all over the floor.
Was an alright experience.

Hit and miss but some times a real treasure can be found for a great price.

I got a brand new, everything still in original packaging, vacuum sealer today for twenty bucks!

Some pretty good finds here, although the prices are way too high for used stuff. Still worth buying clothes though because it’s cheaper than the mall. I wait till it’s 50% off to do a major shop.

This location is quite well organized and well maintained however charging nearly the full price of brand new items is a bit ridiculous. Other items are well priced so it is really hit and miss.

Pros:

Clean.
Nicely organized.
Lots of selection.
No bed bugs.
Dosen't smell like urine.

Cons:

Mens bathroom looked like a hobo was holding in 4 day old taco bell and just barely made it to the toliet.
Could use a cleaning.

Over all the Walker rd location is clean and a good place to find second hand items.

This is a big VV, set in a part of Windsor that is a large shopping area on both sides of the street with big name stores and restaurants. This VV is awesome to shop at. This store has the biggest selection of Hallowe'en costumes and accessories during that time of year. I shop here often and have found many treasures! Highly recommend!
