Have found some good items at this Value Village over the years, staff is pretty friendly and helpful.

Always an interesting stroll through the store, you never know what treasures you will find lol. This store is kept very clean and not overly cluttered

Value Village has become way overpriced now considering they resell used and donated items. Your pricing practices has gotta change or it's goodbye to the Value Village Franchise in Canada in the near future. All to often your pricing on used clothing is far to close to the retail price for that garment retailing for new! Clearly it's all about profits and no longer about giving back to your community in which you conduct your business at! I won't mention the many other local thrifts stores that are far more fairly priced and has my valued dollars.

This is a place that has everything that you need and at very good prices and when I say everything I mean everything like shoes, clothing, toys, video games electronics, etc.
28 July 2022 13:14
Tried to donate before store hours and security stopped me. Getting a little picky on when we get free stuff now aren't we.my donations will go elswhere from now on.
01 June 2022 14:58
I hadn't been to this location in a bit & decided to come back again. I was absolutely floored by how expensive everything was! Took a stroll through the toy section & I was shocked at the prices on things. I've never in my life seen prices so high at any thrift store.legitimately. And I frequent thrift stores & Value Villages often. Left so much behind due to unreasonably inflated prices. Yikes.

Great discounts if you donate before shopping. Tons of stock, mostly clothes but many top quality/name brand clothing in great condition for very reasonable prices (Denver Hayes, etc). Plenty of old electronics, trinkets, and books to be had as well.
08 April 2022 14:36
Some of the prices are not different than big chain stores. I thought this was to help people. Now.more than ever is when prices should be lower to help the community, not help Iine their pockets.
07 April 2022 6:42
Over priced considering everything is donated. Sorry to say this but the store has a smell to it. I love 2nd hand shopping and l find talize a better store for pricing.
31 March 2022 18:52
Haven't been in quite a while. Got more than what I initially intended to buy. Cashier very pleasant and seemed to enjoy her job.
27 March 2022 16:35
They are starting to get out of hand with their prices, you have to watch now, still deals to be had, prices were insane today, had two items, got to check out, wow had to be at least 12 people in line, two cashier's, put my items back and left
06 March 2022 4:54
Loved it, good prices, well organized, staff are super kind and helpful, they have different varieties of everything
Definitely will come back every once in a while
26 February 2022 4:12
Staff very nice but I think they need to re think some prices it's value village not Hudson Bay lol
25 January 2022 3:33
I got a pair of practically brand new Michael Kors dress pants and 5 really interesting books for just over $30. Can't beat it.
11 December 2021 23:15
Very nice place, visited for the first time the other day. Store is clean and well organized. Will be shopping there more often
07 December 2021 22:07
It's pretty sad when a thrift store (meant to be a place cheaper than regular retail business stores) is almost as expensive as the retail stores. Where are the savings? Sure some are discounted a bit but most of these items are used and are discounted as if they were still in the regular store as opposed to a thrift store! There should be way bigger discounts in consideration of those who really need it. Do better VV!

Great place to go searching for some treasures. I've found a few good deals, but some of the display case items can be laughably over priced, especially as they are always being sold as-is untested.

The staff are all more than pleasant and very inclusive.

I appreciate the safety standards they have in place and the security guard, while maybe a bit overkill, is also appreciated to know that you can feel safe while shopping. Not sure what it is but thrift stores attract some of the strangest people.
19 November 2021 13:59
Did not have what we were looking for in terms of Halloween costumes accessories. A lot of inventory. Smells like a very old Suitcase. Staff friendly.
21 October 2021 1:11
Lots of cashiers open, very friendly and helpful. I do find that Value Villages in general seem to be bumping their prices up considerably.
31 July 2021 13:46
Workers here are always very nice and helpful. Why this wasn’t deemed essential who knows. Only issue is the pricing on some items just don’t make any sense. The price range for similar items will be drastically different, I’m talking 10-15$ for shirts that are almost similar.
01 July 2021 12:40
If you want to get odd unique stuff and also home and kitchen things.value village will be the best place
11 May 2021 1:32
I had a great customer service rep at cash. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. She was a lovely person and an excellent impression to leave with outgoing customers.
08 May 2021 13:56
I won't be going to this Value Village again.
Multiple bad experiences, plus they don't give refunds for anything anymore, only exchanges because they won't give you your money back. No change rooms anymore either.
30 April 2021 21:10
Prices have drastically increased and they want to try to charge the same price as the stores for some things. It very disappointing, I thought it was gearing to people in need and discounted prices now its just the old mighty dollar.
15 April 2021 11:06
I love this store! The staff are friendly! They don't interrupt, but always near if you need them.
31 March 2021 12:16
Getting more expensive all the time. Not very honest to hike prices on free donated goods and clothing. I really hope they will become a lot less greedy over time.
28 January 2021 19:41
Best charity organization ever seen. Donate your unwanted things and best place to recycling. Nice staff and well organized place
22 January 2021 10:37
Great COVID measures. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Store had a security guard and everyone was mindful of distancing.
20 January 2021 15:41
I love it here, they are very nice like nicer then other value village. They help you when you look lost. And they take time to find what you’re looking for. 100% jessica approved. And that’s saying a lot. I recommend this value village 100%
14 January 2021 7:22
They sell clocks but won't guarantee they will work and will not let you return it if it doesn't. Also find most prices very expensive for the condition of them
31 December 2020 22:43
The selection is okay but the prices for some things are close to the same as brand new. They charge based on the brand name - creating barriers to people who can't afford brands by being greedy & charging over $20 for one brand name shirt. That's like 5% of a person's income on social assistance - it's not right. They should make items more affordable and not go through each item and make it more expensive based on it being their taste in clothes. I would give a poor person the shirt off my back. I've given away DOZENS of pairs of gloves off my hands & touques off my head in winter - & places like Value Village are charging $10-12 for a second hand Walmart brand shirt (George) it's so disappointing.
24 December 2020 1:07
Value Village is a good value store for items that you might be able to get especially if you are planning to use the items let's say only once and then What I have done I give it back to value village for resale, and so as you can see it's a Win Win situation for both me and Value Village.
25 November 2020 15:19
Because they do not have the fitting rooms open at the moment, they are currently allowing a return policy for store credit.
15 May 2020 22:21
Stays open during Worldwide crisis, forcing employees to go to work even though they are advised to shut down.

Does not provide a clean or safe space for employees to work at any time, especially around this time.

Let your employees go home during this pandemic and let them come back to a cleaner safer environment to work in.
30 April 2020 3:50
Lots of great styles and sizes. Friendly service people and lots of great stuff in a clean environment.
19 April 2020 2:45
Great place to find used items but they need to stop changing the layout of the store, always changing where things belong and making it harder to find, for example where they keep their CD's. They also need to add reasonable prices especially considering they are used items some even 50+ years old.
03 April 2020 13:50
The village is all fresh and new again with a brand new layout and better deals than ever. I just got back from shopping and found a sweet pair or Prada Jean's.
31 March 2020 5:44
Overpriced donated stuff. I saw a used pair of shoes in here for $19.99. If you want to get cheap stuff and actually help the community, go to the Salvation Army thrift stores.
30 March 2020 6:31
I have been to this value village many times and the staff is amazing! The products they have as well are not to shabby, but if we are speaking shabby, there are a few things that would have been better left at the curb if you know what I mean. A few items had not worked, even with new batteries. And the old batteries? ! Man I'm glad it wasn't my child taking them out that's for sure. And since when did Value Village becone so expensive? ! I tell you for 24.99 i can get a brand new coat instead of a used one. I used to love values pricss but lately, seeing as everything is donated.i dont understand why it has to be so pricey.
19 February 2020 4:08
Good place, organized and clean. Sometimes some clothing products are too expensive for a second hand store, and they shouldn't charge HST as Goodwill and Salvation Army do.
15 February 2020 5:45
Their prices are ridiculous. I've seen them separate a ski/snowboarding jacket and put an outrageous price tag on both halves. You should be able to save money buying second hand, not pay 50-75% of the full price for brand new. I have been able to purchase clothes brand new on clearance for cheaper than I can buy it well used at VV. VV sucks now!
28 January 2020 11:44
Very cluttered and not very clean. Was very surprised considering how clean and organized other stores are.
20 January 2020 6:52
Very similar layout to the fennell location, short wide and medium to larger sz not renovated.no finds and one lulu top I saw (tag missing) was 17.99. I bought the same one in Toronto for 6.99-8.99, can’t recall.ridiculous.they must really treasure any good donation they get.haven’t purchased anything here.too far to ever return.
14 January 2020 7:21
I love value village, always have and always will, it's always a thrill when you go cause you never know what treasures you'll find.
My only concern/complaint would be the saving club membership, when I signed up for every $100 I spent, I got 50 or 60 % off my next purchase. I found myself in there more just so I could get closer to the reward level, thus me spending more money.what happened to it? Why take it away? As a long time customer I feel jipped! Like you only made this deal up for corporate revenue purposees. You hear about it all the time for struggling organizations getting consumers emails addresses to sell them off to make a profit since you are "non-profit organization" that all donations and purchases benefit local non-profit partners. But all along had the intent to remove the sole purpose for customers originally joining.
Now if your not a senior you get no deals/discounts only offers that seem to be on the most inconvenient days and don't last for very long. Needless to say that was a very sad day for me and wish that u would bring that back.
13 January 2020 6:16
The selection has gone downhill and the the prices are ridiculous. There is frequently stuff from Dollarama being sold above printed face price.
05 January 2020 1:46
Lots of old stuff and expensive. I can hardly find any " hidden treasure" like at their competitors.

It is well located at Highway 8, with public transportation and if you drive there is plenty of parking.

Aisles are ample and the store is clean. Can't say anything about customer services as I haven't had the opportunity to talk with no one, except the cashiers.

Unfortunately, this is not my favourite location.
25 December 2019 11:38
A great shopping experience for a bargain hunter or for anyone looking to find unique item within a budget. Quality Thrift shopping at its best. Halloween is the ideal time to get the best costumes. The staff are kind and ready to help where they can.
22 December 2019 8:50
It was very busy good prices some designer clothes reasonable prices a lot clothes for the whole family decorations for seasonal furniture good prices they have books and dishes
14 December 2019 16:08
I'm a thrift shopper I like to find hidden treasures for a lower price but this value village is soooo dirty the washrooms r filthy some of the staff there r arrogant
02 December 2019 5:52
If you're looking for clothes, then this location has clothes. If you're looking for brand name vintage finds, then you're better off somewhere else.
House hold items are usually well used and have seen hard times.
10 November 2019 9:10
Disappointing. Went once, never returned. It is what it is. A large consignment, used everything, kind of store. Not memorable.
08 November 2019 12:43
Absolutely disgusting establishment. Glass is always everywhere and garbage and price tags get left all over the lot by customers and lazy staff. The back of this place is even worse there is glass everywere nobody cleans up and debris are blowing all over the lot. Absolutely disgusted with the way the manager runs the place. Shameful!
24 October 2019 3:27
Good selection but I find that they increase their prices quite a lot considering everything they have comes from donations.
