I used to love the Leslieville location but it’s getting too overpriced. I would always come here for home decor items.

So many things to be explored
There are clothes for all and shoes. Appliances, toys for children, kitchenware and books. Time files quickly while you're in there.

Look it's a thrift store.but $20 for a used shirt!?
I can buy a new one for cheaper.

Really disappointed that Value Village decided to renovate the store and become a boutique to increase their prices! I will not go there anymore and there are no really cheap thrift stores like the Salvation Army or Goodwill in the area that I live.

Thrift shopping is my favourite form of recycling. Number One sister moves to Leslieville during lockdown and, charming as the neighbourhood is, I wandered and found the local Village.
Today was my first visit. This country boy was impressed by the selection and use of space. Friendly staff and greeting (I often wear a sour aspect which renders the Wally World greeters mute) and a staff member popped onto an empty register rather than make me wait behind an avid shopper and their cart full of value.
Wider aisles would have made for a five star thrifty experience but that's more my issue than theirs. I don't undress in public and therefore cannot comment on changing rooms.
Most importantly, the Darth Vader alarm clock I picked up for a friend worked with replacement batteries.

First time shopping at Value Village. Found great prices. Clothes and accessories look in good conditions.

Change the name to OverValue Village.what a business.everything is donated.no return policy.no customer service and they charge more then retail on stuff that most should be in a city dump.btw it's owned by Walmart

Not a bad location but the prices are often too high or inconsistent. Video game prices tend to be inflated dramatically. You’re a thrift store not eBay or A and C games.

Surprisingly number of vintage items and many items with tags still on. Must be a good neighbourhood

Great location with friendly staff. Lots of gems and valuable stuff in here for fair prices. I also found it to be a nice quiet environment. The music wasn’t too loud, and the vibe was good on a Monday night

Been finding items lately on the floor without price tags. Otherwise, love this location. Always some great finds.

VV we meet again. This store has a great size so the selection is quite continuous. So many different categories of items to choose from. I did end up picking up a lovely dress that I adore and a jewelry holder piece. Excited to stop by once again and we what else they have to offer! It’s a little hidden so if you’re walking or riding a bike know it’s around the corner and past the parking lot. The staff were very helpful and lovely.

I really love this value village. If i could give any constructive crit. The store is very crowded. NOT easy to get up and down isles. But i still love it.

Probably the better value Village I've been to in Toronto give it a three or four I've gone to are terrible

This was my first time visiting this store. I am an infrequent shopper at thrift stores but found this location to be of a decent size, clean and well organized.

They even had a fairly decent section of electronics - which included chargers and cords.

Always enjoy visiting and shopping here for clothing, fabric and treasures. Staff are very friendly.

This VV is the bomb! I find the best shizz here like a set of retro TV dinner trays! Say Whaaaat!

Dropping off items is easy, shopping or researching clothes, electronics, books, gadgets as well.

We accidentally dropped off a box with a number of valuable items. The staff had already sorted these items onto racks, but were able to dig back through all the packed items and help us recover many of our items. The staff at this location is literally the best. These are people with a high degree of work ethic, responsibility, and integrity. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for everything they did to help us recover our items. Would leave 10 stars if I cou.d

Great selection of clothes, and generally at low prices.there is a very large line, as they only let 30 people in at a time, so come before they open if you want to wait the least, i waited about half an hour.staff are very helpful, and everyone practiced good hygiene and distancing measures.

This is a nice clean place to shop, used second hand items including clothing of men's and women's. Includes housewares and electronics. There is something for everyone at this particular location. My personal interest is the used DVD, and Blue Ray movies. To my surprise there in great condition. I would exercise caution on used electronics, as there is no notice if items has been inspected, or in good working order. Typically there are no remotes or cables for the units. To top it off the staff are friendly and helpfull.

I love other people's junk and this store closing for the lockdown has really put a damper on my weekends.

Can't try on covid clothes here. So wear tight underlayer so you can throw on a sweater or dress in the aisles. They frown on this but it's better then dressing like a clown.

Very busy and customers are not respectful of the 1 way isle systems. I left with out buying anything becuase it was overwhelmingly busy.

The best place for wardrobe staples and fun outfits for a night on the town, I love it and you feel good about donating!

One of the better Value Villages! You can get a lot of neat, quality finds if you set aside the right amount of time for looking through all the racks.

4 stars for the items but 2 stars for the hospitality. Not sure if they rotate security guards but I picked up on the guard suspiciously following me (around 6'0", slender and curly-haired). I was in the store for around 20 minutes and you could bet that wherever I went he followed. Hopefully this guard is replaced or changes his obvious customer-following techniques. Already reported to the manager.

Never know what you'll find. Finally got comfortable bar stools after years of looking at many places. 8.99 each! Yaay!

When I'm in the area I always pop in for a quick look. Last trip scores a beach bag and dress pants. Better for the environment and cheaper too!

Good selection of used clothing, although when I went to try on a sweater it smelled strongly of body odour. I informed the staff but they didn't seem to care.

Not that it's great because the community charity value is not there for all the people. If you are wise shopper with the high items price you can buy new ones compared of what they got.

Overpriced these days. And damn the people who shop here are the slowest moving people. Takes forever to get into a changeroom. If you can find a good deal, it's worth the headache.

The security guards are too serious about their jobs here, its stuff that was given to you for free.and if someone is stealing.they most likely need it more than the people paying and I would gladly donate it to them.

Alright selection of clothes to choose from, but very high prices. Might as well just buy the clothes new. The store itself was extremely crowded, especially for 2pm on a Wednesday, constantly someone in your road, and unable to turn around. The staff was very unfriendly. I got to the checkout counter and made eye contact with a man at the one register, he said "shes open" and pointed me to the next woman (Barbara), who loudly said to him "Ha, good to know they'll still come up to you with a closed register sign" and scoffed. After cashing me out ($50 for three used plain dresses? !) she handed me a large paper bag with no handles which was a joy to try and carry home on my walk. All in all would not recommend.

Bought used purses here for a charity and they had a great selection and just what I was looking for! 11 purses for $100. Can’t beat that! Thank you!

It's okay, it's a little on the more messier and unorganized side. It's a smaller space so they had to utilize what they had the best they could but of course the customers don't do their part to put back what they don't want. But that's true for everywhere I geuss.

Although the prices at this store were not super cheap the quality of the goods was high. It seems to be quite popular so there is definitely competition for the better items. That being said, new stock was rolling into the store constantly.

Great place for video games and the occasional antique. You'll find everything from DJ equipment to guitars to old amplifiers. Don't forget to donate usable items for coupons!

Good value, But today did not buy anything. The security Guard at the door was rude to me. I asked him a question, He just looked at me and did not answer me. I said I am talking to you. His reply was that I did not greet him when I came in. He still did not answer me. It is his duty to greet the customers
