As good as any other Value Village. Helpful staff and reasonable prices. They take a variety of goods, so a great way to recycle.

Value Village in Sudbury is a popular thrift store where you can discover hidden treasures, from clothing to home decor, all while supporting sustainable shopping practices and giving items a second life.

They don't wash clothes, no longer cash you out, and don't help you bag but prices are higher than ever

Really nice value village as far as the stores go clean well stocked lots of interesting finds
25 March 2023 12:39
Typical Value Village experience, a lot of overpriced junk to go through in hopes of finding that one treasure. Unfortunately nothing good this time around and many of their prices were simply outrageous but I keep going back!

They only have self-checkout. There is a lady to help you figure out how to use the self-checkout. I forgot to use a coupon for my purchase at the self-checkout and they called an associate up to the one cash register to give me the refund of my coupon. Yay.
12 February 2023 23:27
Many things to see. Some are a bit over price. Some are too old to buy. Need to have time to check carefully. Being a member get discount coupons by email. Cannot refund but can exchange for other item if you change your mind later.

Found some nice shirts that fit and look good. And some great shirts for the gym. Also needed an extra comforter and they hed the size I needed for decent price. Anything brand name is always way over priced though for second hand. I don't like their pricing policy in that regard.

The prices have got out of control and making it all self check out I’m not big fan of the bags are too pricey and lastly they claim to be non profit but with those prices that’s impossible
13 December 2022 15:53
Over the past few years VV has been hiking up their prices to ridiculous amounts.
The store is clean and there is lots of parking.
19 November 2022 8:35
Nice store but i hate that their washroom is not available to customers- its because too many people are using the washroom as a change room. They really need to bring back the change rooms i know its a pain to clean and put back the items but hey if you are going to offer clothes for sale then you should offer change rooms and for gods sake washrooms!

Good experience and selection. Found a baggie of drugs worth $24,000 in the pocket of a jacket I bought there. Score!
26 December 2021 6:39
Lots of items are more expensive then buying the same or comparable item brand new. Also, items of same or lesser value were more expensive by a significant amount. What I mean by that is the pricing consistency has very poor.

We always walk out with full arms no matter what we were in search of. Very friendly staff and clean inviting atmosphere.

Overpriced, as expected with a for-profit thrift store. A third of the store is comprised of nick nacks and kitchen ware that look like they didn't sell at estate sales. Old, worn out, worthless relics of the 70's. A lot of kitchenware still crusted with burnt on food. The company is for-profit, so I'd expect it to be cleaned prior to being put on the shelf. Lots of variety for clothing, with prices seemingly being decided at random, but one could find the odd hidden gem here or there. Footwear is hilarious. With the exception of dressier type shoes, the footwear is mostly dirty, worn out shoes that should have a negative dollar value. For adults, it's a good place for a cheap pair of formal shoes if needed for a day, but not much else. Things are better for kids shoes, and one can find a decent pair for cheap. Holiday specific items are usually decent, though hit or miss on selection. With the increased popularity of thrift stores in the past decade, prices have increased, while quality and selection has decreased. This store is no exception. If you have the spare time it's still worth taking a look after Christmas, and in the spring when people tend to donate the most.

I go there often to deliver a trailer or too. A very busy place lots off pressure for the staff for real. The staff always cool calm. Flows like a well oiled machine. Later

Could I please re do the pictures on The website I feel I'd be able to show a better prespof of the store and what's offersd

Ok, here's the thing. My family loves buying second-hand. Most of our clothing is bought used. We used to love shopping at Value Village. We'd go for an hour to wander around, treasure hunt and pick up a few things. We'd usually spend around $50 per trip and get a decent haul, and were satisfied. However, the last two times we've gone (most recently in August 2021), the PRICES WERE RIDICULOUS. There is no way an item of used clothing should be priced higher than $10. I did a pretty thorough flip through the mens clothing and found nothing under $14 and many items more expensive than that. What a disappointment. You have lost our business Value Village, and we were loyal customers for 20 years. Do better
17 August 2021 14:24
When you walk in found store not very inviting it was very busy staff not as freindly as other value village i been to.
22 July 2021 9:25
Prices have gone up so much I don't understand how there can be such a markup on donations. This store was made to help low income families and it has gone way out of control with greed
30 June 2021 20:55
Lots of great finds in this place. A little pricey for used stuff but other then that the staff is friendly and overall a great place to shop
16 November 2020 6:13
Nice collection, however not all options like other stores in bigger cities (very small collection of furniture and appliances)
29 October 2020 17:53
Good and nice place to buy used and donated things for cheap price. The people working there are also friendly to the customers. Overall, it's a nice place
25 October 2020 3:01
Sweet vibe, great selection, workers are usually nice, depends on whos working. Taking Covid protocols seriously!
20 October 2020 5:48
The aisles are so narrow that you can't pass others without almost rubbing shoulders with them. I didn't notice any arrow signs indicating people should all be going the same way in the aisles.
13 October 2020 5:33
It's a the best value village store I've been in.nice and clean and pleasant staff who knows there selections.
21 September 2020 12:39
Great place still a little price just putting this one out there if the most workers there is volunteer so they make mad money were does it go.plus prices are kind of high for most people I remember when it was free but now the price are ok but I would like to see those books on the how were and now it would be truly shocking I would put my internet world on it. I've done my research like two years I can't give you what place it was at but like we truly don't need more corruption but then I would have to believe all that's been truly said is true was there every day or night it was crazy but I will let you know more following this one may turn out bad.keeping it real people we can't let. This stuff go on for much longer 5G is ️

Some things are pricey, some things are good scores. They however they did a price check on a shirt for me at the cash, the tag on the rack said 7.49 but I told her the tag fell off, she called someone over to get it retagged, they priced it at 3.99.
I've heard all the horror stories of value village, not really witnessed it up front.
Their fill a bag for 5.99 kids section is great! Scored a romper and fall jacket both with the tags, and some fleece sleepers:)
26 July 2020 9:28
For so.e reason stuff is always over priced vs other value village I go to, and I travel alot and visit value village in every city I visit. The lack of competition in sudbury means they set prices very high considering the stuff they get is usually free
26 July 2020 4:35
No social distancing happening here! And no employees enforcing it. Absolutely glad that I had my mask on!
21 July 2020 11:00
Social distancing policies silly but tolerable. Too bad inventory is less so harder to find a treasure ;-)
31 March 2020 11:26
All the clothe there are disgusting, I don't recommend considering they sell used clothe and they don't wash them. They never clean the bins and when it gets busy and if the donator does not bring any boxes or bags they just throw them in the dirty bins. Dust and dirt is everywhere in the Production room and things get dropped.
22 March 2020 4:57
They have a good variety of clothes, but for somewhere that you are looking to find a deal on second hand things, it's not my first choice in store. Their prices seem a little much, but their customer service is amazing with friendly staff
21 March 2020 0:25
Good items for the most part but so expensive for used items! Honestly I would shop at the Jarett centre before here.
16 March 2020 14:13
Very organized and clean thrift store. It's the largest in the city, with the best floor plan and space to move around. I've been to several Value Village stores in other cities and this one is my favourite.
11 March 2020 16:05
Their clothing is a bit pricy in my opinion, and having a got profit charity just seems wrong to me, but that aside, their furniture is dirt cheap. I got an electric fireplace tv stand valued around $800 retail and still in great working condition for only $20! I frequent this store regularly as there is always something new and exciting and for a price I simply cannot say no to. I've accumulated so many great finds and barely spent anything on it. Prices are better than used stuff on Kijiji which is saying something.
17 February 2020 11:33
Il t'a des choses que j'ai mis dans mon panier, mais en arrivant a la maison il t'a d'autres qui n'y étaient plus
02 January 2020 21:52
Many different products. I feel there could be more people on the floor to help you find what you are looking for as well as a better layout. The front door is very hard to access for people with physical disabilities and for myself.
04 December 2019 21:48
It's a good store, easy to navigate whenever they change things around, but the prices have definitely gone up over the past few years.
21 November 2019 19:22
This is a prominent place where you can deposit the materials you don't require anymore and which can be used is received. They deal in almost anything useful and can be used. Utensils, dresses, play toys, Halloween costume etc, and many more to be useful to others is being collected and sold to persons who are in need for a nominal price. They have donation center where you can go and deposit these materials.
20 June 2019 7:47
Great place to pick up slightly used clothing, toys, dishes and more household goods. The staff there is very pleasant. Jen is especially helpful and a joy to be around
04 June 2019 13:46
Unique finds but prices are so expensive. I found boots for my son that were priced higher than what I paid for them in store new.
29 May 2019 10:38
Some merchandise can be had at retail chains on sale cheaper.
Electronics have the cords and adapters removed and sold seperatly. Very inconvenient. Let the buyer beware
11 April 2019 3:30
Place gets picked clean before anything worth collecting hits shelves. Most of the items available are odds and ends. Only good thing about this store is books and second hand clothing.
27 February 2019 1:43
Whenever I need something for the kitchen or for the house, I like popping in here first. There's always a good selection of items. I try to come often enough because you never know what you'll find
22 February 2019 8:36
Smelly store! I understand things are second hand but surely there could be some kind of deodorizer used in the store. Done going to value village in Sudbury
