Dawn on cash is great. Selection is good. Brand name clothes are getting to be priced too high tho.
11 December 2023 6:14
Price on some very worn items just because they have a name brand is rediculous. Some other items priced nicely.
22 August 2023 9:17
Does the job, good prices as always, kinda cluttered in some areas though, washrooms are a little sketchy. However, there's plenty of things offered there.

First time in this location, well laid out floor plan. Friendly staff was a enjoyable experience.
06 August 2023 9:35
Wonderful staff. Items, however, should not be priced higher than the original purchase price.
02 June 2022 9:58
Good selections but overpriced. I can get new clothes at giant tiger for price lesser than what Value Village are selling

I have found that from the GTA to Orillia, this VV often has pricing that is well above what I have experienced is the average for chain thrift shops. The selection is usually fantastic, however.

This is a thrift store that is closing in on boutique pricing.

No mark against the store, but you should be aware of that respecting personal space and being polite are skills that many of the older demographic that visit have either forgotten or refuse to practise.

Good selection. Clean. Well organized. Although I did see an uptick in prices there continues to be good savings to be realized.
06 May 2022 21:53
Prices are out of control. This used to be a charity store. Last few times I visited I left empty handed. Used to enjoy this place but not now. If it doesn't change I will stop going
06 May 2022 19:25
You would be surprised what you can find in these stores. Pretty good clothing some times. I'm always finding things to wear A few years ago I scored a brand new suit, fit perfect.
12 April 2022 3:57
Most items are over priced. I've seen used Dollar store shoes for more than they cost brand new! As well as T-shirts, glasses, etc. Very rare to find a deal!
06 April 2022 15:07
Over priced for name brands that were very used. Heading to outlit mall for brand new stuff that costs the same. My family and friends are shocked by prices. We heard they work on commission. Even used books at big prices
25 March 2022 9:56
Huge selection of items but they are all overpriced. It's no longer a good place to find a good deal.
20 February 2022 1:50
Always has a big selection of women's clothing. Men's sometimes is lacking but that is to be expected.

No change rooms, COVID times.
06 February 2022 23:54
I only buy something I really need and I haven't found anything recently also the prices are really too high
08 December 2021 4:20
Had some clothes to buy. They removed change rooms, put clothes back and left. Not willing to buy things that may or may not fitif they have a no return policy
06 November 2021 17:36
No change rooms, no refunds. Only exchanges.so going back home hoping items will fit, then bringing them back for an exchange ONLY - hoping the next thing you choose will fit properly or you will have to keep going back and forth. Won't do a refund or store credit. Rediculous
01 November 2021 6:18
Great selection, however I'm finding their prices are getting quite high, harder to find bargains. Way too many staff, many of whom were standing around chatting blocking customers from shopping.
28 September 2021 17:46
Prices are very high for second hand. I think they have pickers come in and get the good stuff before it’s open to public. Never see anything out of the ordinary. All the clothing looks the same. Every other value village is by far has better selections.
20 September 2021 7:39
So disappointed that they get the stuff for free and charge an arm and leg. We all should stop making the rich, richer. This use to be a place you could go when you were down on your luck and buy things for a reasonable price. No longer, GREED is real.
08 September 2021 14:18
Lately find the prices are more the in a store.
For example sandles there was $17.99 not in the best of shape and today at Walmart same sandles $12.00 somethings not right.
08 September 2021 13:30
We did not go inside but these folks have excellent COVID19 protocols for dropping off household goods.
14 August 2021 19:15
Stock seemed low, racks were pretty empty especially in kids section. Was expecting more considering they were just open after months of being closed
21 July 2021 9:09
Very clean polite staff. First time there. Racks not full probably due to covid. Still found a treasure.
19 July 2021 10:20
I was honestly not impressed with the prices I bought two t-shirts at Costco for 18.99 and coming here they wanted sometimes almost 10 for a used t-shirt, considering the stuff is donated for the most part I think they could be a little more competitive. There is a large selection and it is pretty well organized
08 January 2021 2:33
Great place to find good home decor and little Christmas ornaments and much more for great deals
09 December 2020 1:13
Went to buy a desk there yesterday no help loading it into the car they just walked away and watched me struggle with a line up full of customers waiting for drop offs. Also prices in store are high considering its all donated

This Value Village is quite good. Prices are getting alittle to expensive in the clothing department however. I dont like the fact that they now price the clothing individually instead of all t-shirts at $2.99 or $3.49. They look at the labels and condition and determine the price values individually. These items are 99% used and donated Some prices are so crazy that I would rather go to Giant Tiger or Walmart and purchase new. Otherwise the prices are not too bad on the household & collectibles. I find neat treasures whenever I go. Also when you donate anything they will give you a 20% off coupon good until Dec 31st. The staff are always very friendly and helpful at this store!

Great store! I mostly shop there for clothing as I personally don't believe in fast fashion. Side Note: I have noticed an increase in their prices since the pandemic hit, but that's kind of to be expected AND it's waay better than paying $20 for a shirt
Overall it's a good store if you need some clothes and aren't looking for anything super specific.
21 September 2020 3:04
I really like the variety of products I find in value Village. Sometimes I find that the prices are a bit high but other than that I love going here.
12 September 2020 12:57
I like Value Village, l just don't agree with the very low percentage that goes to charity it should be mandated be a higher percentage.
02 September 2020 19:00
Very clean, has the classic Value Village feel. Follows guidelines of social distancing very well. Aswell as had a lot of great finds here! Quite a bit of brand names - which was a nice surprise. Store is also clean and organized! Pricing was fair - but they mark up name brands. Haha
10 May 2020 19:03
Overpriced. Saw something my dad had made and so for 5$ being sold for 7$. Clothing prices are disgusting. Should donate clothes to salvation army or second chance on atherley where clothes are 2$
12 April 2020 13:53
The prices are way to high! How are people in need supposed to pay those prices? I was looking for work t-shirts (I'm a landscaper and my clothes get ruined), brand new ones are the same price at Walmart. That's not fair ️!
29 March 2020 7:18
Defiantly a good place to come when you are looking for children clothing that they are just going to grow out of soon. The staff here are very friendly. However the customers are very aggressive and the prices are pretty high for used clothing. I normally wait until a 50% sale is happening before I go in.
23 March 2020 9:52
Too much junk in the racks (items no one would want). Needs to be cleaned out The clothing drop off program needs to be revamped.you drop off boxes of nice clothes and get nothing for it or it expires in a very short time. They have raised prices to much.they are getting rich selling usef clothes and items.not enough money % going back to people who need it.
13 March 2020 19:42
I found this! Didn't buy it but it was sort of odd ‍️ store was clean and staff were super friendly, it's a second hand store and being such it's got a variety of odds and ends. Although I do find some of the clothing items are priced rather high considering they run off donations.
12 March 2020 5:03
The Orillia Value Village is fairly new so it is cleaner and tidier than some older ones. It has an amazing book area with books sorted by category and are in excellent shape. The store shelves aren't cluttered and the prices are good. I also like the convenient donation bin right near the front door.
27 February 2020 13:40
Good selection. Fairly clean. Prices can bit a bit high here on some items (jeans in particular) but it's a decent store. I like it better than the one in Barrie.
23 February 2020 4:44
Odd staff, some were really nice the others, an older lady in particular, was actually quite rude to us. Okay pricing though some things should be much less, like jackets etc.
19 February 2020 17:53
A good place to find odds and ends, antiquey things and an abundance of gently used clothing. Always a good experience as it's always a different experience. Bargain hunter's paradise.
