I love all of the Value Village Boutiques and this store always has a decent selection for great prices. I was there tonight for the last hour (7-8pm) and heard the announcement for closing in 30min. I went upstairs real quick to take a look before I left and with 20 min to spare a security guard came upstairs and aggressively told me the upstairs was closed. Totally get that they were starting to close down and would have been totally chill with a friendly heads up- really didn’t need to Aggro vibes after having the best time shopping here. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Next time announce the upstairs is closed on the PA system so you don’t need to be annoyed? Left me with a sour taste in my.mouth.

Great location! Sooo much to look through! A little confusing with womens on the first a second floor but gives you a lot to shop:)

Went to this place with all my good intentions to find something nice. Majority of clothes looks unclean. The small department of high street brands next to the tills looks old and dirty, with no interesting item.

Of course these shops are also depending on how lucky you are to find something that you like, as there's no stock and is all depending from what they received, however they should not put to sale clothes that looks unclean.

I honestly don't ever leave reviews but this clothing store has no fitting rooms and also no return policy.only exchange. So if something doesn't fit after you buy it without being able to try it on first, you're on your own.

It depends: sometimes I leave without nothing but often I come across interesting things. I recently bought a pair of Coach flats in this boutique - what a great find

Not sure if VV is trying to make a joke for selling a pair of used hotel slippers for $1.99. Hope everyone will have a good laugh

I get that it’s a boutique but the prices still seemed a bit high. There’s no change room.

I make it a point to check the Value Village boutique and am never disappointed. Shopped this past week for $20 and both are great purchases! I'm all about second hand clothing and thrifting, so VV is my go to.

On the day I went (Saturday afternoon), it was somewhat busy so the narrow aisles were not ideal.

Little hard to find pieces that I liked, especially since there may be a few with minor issues like stains. Disappointing that there was no fitting rooms, so I just ended up securing a tan-coloured jacket, granted the lil stain at the back tho

Lots of stuff. Pretty clean. Just need a change room or walls full of mirrors would be nice

Honestly has a lot of good stuff that is priced pretty well- you just have to look for it. I like it a lot better than the Bloor location!

The only thing that bothered me was watching a (shopper) place items into his bag and walk out the entrance door which is not secure.
Perhaps a more elaborate entrance is needed to cut down on theft.

The selection is nice, the fact that there are no change rooms is challenging but on top of that you can never get your money back if something doesn’t fit after you try it on at home. You can only get store credit which is a bit too scammy for me. I would never have bought that shirt if you had a dressing room in the store. Covid is long over this is just a money grab at this point. Also the manager wouldn’t give me a discount on a pretty beat up jacket and he said he’d rather throw in in the recycling bin than give me a discount. Pretty rude and hella corporate, he’d rather throw it basically in the garbage than give me a $2 discount to fix the zipper myself. I’m not impressed.

It's not the worst thing to go to a clothing store without change rooms, but you should expect more from the biggest thrift store in Canada (Value Village/Safers). Offering only exchanges for clothes you have to try OVER your own clothes, or eyeball them the best you can, you have to hope for better fitting luck on a return. Despite the sentiment they are a charity, something they've done little to dispel, this is a private, for-profit store. (My neighbour, moving south last week, donated ALL her quality winter clothes to this "charity. ") With their success, they owe something to the customer. At least a change room. And at least employment for a change-room and checkout assistant. Customer service - not self checkout - is what one expects from a "Boutique" retailer on trendy Queen St.

Best value village in Toronto! There were a ton of options and the prices were very reasonable compared to nearby thrift stores. We can’t wait to come back again!

I am surprised there are items in very good condition or new at a good price and new members have a 30% discount. I love this store

There's always something of my like on each thrift even when I arrive minutes before closing, the staff is really helpful, everything's always where it's supposed to be, and the quality of the clothes never disappoints. And there's more! While this may be nitpicky for some, the music on the store is constantly changing from time to time so it makes each of my visits non-repetitive and even more enjoyable since their music selection usually consists of new and trending songs, an easy 5 stars out of 5 for me.
