Used to live here basically. Until they hired the red head from foodland. Dhe is so negative and always thinks people are stealing whether there or at foodland. She has no respect and will embarrass you in front of customers. They all follow you around in this store like you're in a store full of gold snd have never had money before. I'm not the only one to notice this. There's a few contractors in town who have not went back there again and will.make the trip into hawks when they're building a multi million dollar home in town here because of the way the staff follow you around and have a rude undertone.sucks but is what it is. Been here for 6 years will never go back.

They usually don't have what you need "but we can get it by next Wednesday. " Because they are small store, I understand this. But they never thank me after paying for my stuff, as if giving them money is a burden to them. Small town, local store service and friendliness? Forget it. I'm 70 yrs old and had to lug several heavy bags of stuff to my car, one at a time while three young staff just stood and watched me, never offering to help me. I now avoid this store like the plague due to their complete lack of customer appreciation. If I had a business I would drill it into my staff to ALWAYS thank the customer for shopping here. I guess the owner has made enough money that he doesn't care.

Shop here all the time. Yes there is more selection of you drive an hour to the city, but if you need something at 4: 00 on a Saturday afternoon you will be happy you supported them.

Love this town. Interesting country hardware store and.great finds. Beautiful. Country environment. Horse shows. Good liquor shop. Events and fairs.

The staff is generally good, but the owner needs a lesson in customer service. He was extremely rude to my father, who had contractors waiting on the wood he was promised that morning and it didn't show up. By noon time he finally went in to ask when he could expect his delivery (so he could stop paying people to stand around). He got a snarky response instead of an apology. The wood was ordered well in advance so it wasn't like this was a last minute request. This is a small town and we try to support our own, but if that's how you want to conduct your business, sir, our entire family will take out business elsewhere.

Very helpful friendly service and they take that extra step to go out of their way to help or order what you need, highly recommend.
