Our experience with Vaughn was excellent! From when we hired him to our wedding day, he was very organized and had excellent communication throughout. Both my husband and I felt very comfortable around him. We love our photos and have had so many compliments on how wonderful a job our photographer did. Vaughn really captured the fall colours and vibe that I was going for. We also got our photos back very quickly and did not have to wait the months that you usually hear of to get your wedding photos. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend!

Our engagement session was enjoyed by thousands of bugs in a forested area during an exceptionally hot day - Vaughn was a trooper and kept us sane, and through the chaos produced stunning and creative photos.

Our wedding day weather was also great one minute, pouring rain the next, then sunshine, then cold winds - again, Vaughn came through with exceptional photos and seizing whatever backdrop mother nature threw at us in addition to keeping everyone on pace and in good spirits.

Vaughn is very responsive to all questions and is genuinely engaged your journey. My (now) husband is not a fan of being photographed, but Vaughn instantly put him at ease and made the sessions enjoyable. Vaughn also provided a lot of guidance in helping us determine timelines, group photos, and what he needed from us well in advance.

I cannot express how amazing a photographer Vaughn is. We hired him for our wedding and he was PHENOMENAL. From the meet & greet, to the engagement photos, to the big day - he was incredible, so friendly and charismatic.
His attention to detail is second to none. From asking family members to take things out of their pockets, to ensuring all the guys had the same jacket button done up, to laying on the ground to get a better angle, it was BEYOND anything we could have imagined, even all of our friends and family were incredibly impressed.
Not to mention we got SO many sneak peaks the day after the wedding, and then got all of our photos back in less than 2 weeks! Just amazing.
Not that I will ever get married again, but if I did, I would hire him in a heartbeat! Look no further if you are looking for a wedding photographer.

Vaughn couldn't have captured our big day at the family cottage in Muskoka more beautifully. He scouted the site ahead of time, identified key photos he and the bride thought would pan out best and took time to understand the parts of our site/location that were important to us. When the weather threw us a curveball, he embraced the weather, adapted to the circumstances and went above and beyond to ensure all of our desired moments were not only captured but enhanced by mother nature. In hindsight, anyone getting photos done by Vaughn should hope for rain because he used it to our advantage and gave the bride the "Notebook-like wedding" she could never have dreamed of. Vaughn is nothing short of AMAZING. His work speaks for itself but what really sets him apart is his ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. It's like having your best buddy as your photographer. He is professional, funny and personable. He also doesn't take months and months to get your pictures back to you. I have been following Vaughn's work for years. When we got engaged, we got in touch with Vaughn right away! Vaughn was naturally our photographer of choice and we planned our wedding around his availability. We enjoyed everything about our special day and our photos were a dream come true. Vaughn took our wedding photos and we do not have enough good things to say! Our initial interview was great, Vaughn was so helpful in answering any and all questions we had. It felt like he was working with us (not for us) to make sure our day went as perfectly as it could. Vaughn is amazing! From the moment we saw his work we knew we had to have him for our wedding photos. Right from the start he was easy to talk to, very organized and professional. He provided us with great advice, many links to access information on his experience and helped provide us with a timeline for the day to coordinate all the time for the photos we wanted.
Before the wedding day we had wanted to take pictures for our engagement out at a lighthouse on the shores of Georgian Bay. Vaughn was willing and excited to do that for us. Brave man as the day we picked ended up being a windstorm, but he got some amazing shots of us despite the weather. At that point we knew for sure we had chosen the best! He was willing to do whatever he had to, to capture the best shot.
On the day of our wedding Vaughn really went above and beyond what we expected. He was very easy to work with and very personable. From those private moments with your spouse that he is capturing and making you feel comfortable or jumping right in there to photograph a Newfie screech in ceremony and becoming an honorary Newfie himself. Vaughn’s eye for capturing photos and moments is more than just the people but the landscape around as well and is just incredible.
