I didn't even end up bringing in my cat but their support, concern and friendliness on the phone definitely has me planning to go there when needed.

Probably the best veterinary clinic I ever went to. Gave us a lot of support as my cat and I were navigating end-of-life. We didn't have to wait long for appointments, and they always had the meds we needed on hand. Staff are friendly and compassionate. They also offer a grief counsellor if you want to talk to someone after your animal friend passes away. Thanks for all you did to take care of him, and accommodate our needs.

Vet bills are something no one can avoid, but Doug is never afraid of coming here with the friendly staff!

The staff are very friendly, they greet my dog Timmy by name from the second we walk through the door. He's always very happy and excited to be here I actually had to coax him him a treat to leave.
The vets are informative and always answer every question we have.

They totally missed diagnosis for our dog. They are great at taking money though. Incompetent.
Not what they used to be a few years ago

Absolutely horrible place! Have been waiting for nearly 2 months for revolution for my dog! Called last Thursday to see if it was in and there phone service was down for almost 2hrs! Will never have my dog in there again horrible place! They also are way behind they need a better staff!

I joined based on the reviews, and also because I have a middle aged cat that likes the backyard. That's why I got the insurance. I would never be without it now. Excellent vets and vet techs. Very fair and gentle. Her Royal Highness, Miss Bear of Barton Village, is in excellent hands

These guys are so caring and put up with neurotic fur moms like me! Lol. I'd recommend this hospital. Dr. Both are both wonderful vets and their tech team is aces! *EDIT Dr. Scott is a newer Vet and he is AMAZING! Vet Tech Chantel is SUPER NICE & KNOWLEDGEABLE

I had many cats come in and out of this clinic over the years and I could never say a single bad thing about them, from one of the techs giving me a big hug when I was a mess after putting one of my cats down, do the warm reception and laughs over the goofy photo I uploaded of my cat to the VCA app, and doctors FaceTiming me while I was at work and had to get my mom to bring my cat in so I could get all the questions I had in! The service here is BEYOND what you would expect for a veterinarian office, you aren’t just another number. I recently mad a cross country move and I am not holding my breath that we’ll find an office as good as VCA out here! Thank you for everything!

VCA helped keep my CHF kitty alive well after her expected life expectancy. Now after a surgery at another awful vet didn’t go so well and I thought I was about to lose my other babe (felv+ so increased risks) VCA was swift, patient and SO kind and within 24 hours I am starting to get my baby back. I will never be able to say thank you enough.

They are all very nice and accommodating. Took good care of my beautiful cat Paddy. Unfortunately, he was battling kidney disease, and we had to put him to sleep a year ago. They were very good to us during our difficult time. Would recommend this Vet clinic to everyone!

Had to put my beloved dog to sleep a few months ago and the compassion and care they showed us was above and beyond.

Terrible customer service! No regard for a clients time. If you pay for a care package or plan, you will never get an appointment and will still have to pay to take your pet some where else. You can book appointments weeks/ months in advance only to be called 6-10 times to rebook for a different time or cancelled all together. You can be in the car driving to an already scheduled appointment and they will call and cancel while you are in route to them! Called for a bee sting emergency and was told they have too many appointments and to take her some where else! Called for a limp had to wait 5 days and only got my pet in because she had an already scheduled appointment from the month before. They constantly cancel appointments or leave message the are moved to very inconvenient times and every receptionist tells you different information or gives you the run around! Very sad because the vets are nice but the company is terrible and only seems to care about volume and profit!

Switched to VCA over 2 years ago and never looked back. Always a great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We recently switched to VCA Eastside and I couldn't be happier. Our dobe has a history of recurrent UTIs and Dr Scott was amazing with explaining all of our options, answering all of our questions and working with us to give her the best treatment plan to finally try and get to the root cause of the issue rather than constantly treating the infection as it pops up which I have always felt was a bandaid solution.

Dr Scott was amazing with our little Lukie who’s just moved to my moms house. He had a bad run this past weekend and they were able to fit him in today, explain everything to my mom and send him on his way a happy pup again. I cannot thank the staff for their care and attention today taking care of our special boy!

I have an aggressive dog who was treated exceptionally by not only the reception desk but by the Veterinarian we saw.
Would highly recommend and will be returning.

I would like to thank everyone at VCA Eastside for taking good care of our dog Kali. She suffers from cluster seizures and everytime I will bring her here. They always made our dog better and made sure she is getting proper treatment for her seizures. I cannot tell you enough how many times they saved our dogs life. We trust them 100% and and I am hopefull that we are able to extend Kalis life and it as comfortable as can be with their help. Their staff are very friendly and compansionate about what they do. The doctors are very knowlegeable and amazing with animals. Once again thank you very very much!

I have always had a very positive experience at Pet Vet. I adopted a rescue cat named Sindee at Pet Vet and just recently a rescue at Animal Control which I named Peaches. Both cats have had the privilege of being looked after at Pet Vet. Starting from the warm reception at the front desk to the kind and gentle manner that the Veterinarians have given my cats, I am very satisfied.

I need to update this review to mention that I adopted a Chihuahua 3 years ago and he receives care there as well. They are so good to him, so caring and supportive. He had to have major surgery last year and they were there every step of the way with continued updates and pictures of his progress. It was so comforting to me.

They are also upfront and transparent regarding any fees that are involved. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to have you as our Vet Hospital!

Parking lot spaces are numbered and have phone details for when arriving. Easy, safe, and still friendly service!

I'm glad I decided to try them as my new vet. This was my first visit and I highly recommend it now that I've experienced it personally.

Rates were standard which felt like a great value since the professional services in the exam room were exceptional.

I loved going to this vet when it was called Pet Vet as they had a great new puppy package that included socialization classes for your puppy. We stopped going to this vet since it was purchased by VCA as the prices went up.

Since adopting 2 kittens they have been going here for check ups & needles to keep them healthy. Service is very friendly. They talk to you about what & how they look @ each of my kittens. This is new to me as I have never been used to being a solo owner of a kitten. Last time was 32 years ago.

They have been my vet for many many years. Got recommended by a friend to bring my dogs here. They have ALWAYS been so great to my fur babies.
I gave them 4 stars because I find their prices to be very high compared to many other clinics I know of in the city. I wouldn't want to change where I go, because the vets there are all very knowledgeable and very kind. They do however try to be as honest with you, but can also find ways to make you spend more money than you should.
That could be a tactic, that could be their own judgement, but as an animal owner, it's really your choice to make. They won't ever push you, they give you options, which I appreciate.
The clinic is always very clean, and the staff are always very friendly. Just the prices could be lower. Just my opinion

Had to take my furry friend to VCA, and let me tell you. The staff and hospital were all glorious. They are friendly, understanding, and quite accommodating.

Staff is amazing. I bring my Doberman in for braiding sometimes and have 0 issues. Only thing I can say is that the prices are extremely high. It cost more for the vet to say my dog looked fine than the actual shots.

The people that work there really love ur pet genuinely my bennies hair still feels like velvet and it's been a week now, so pleased with their work.

Thoughtful and kind staff. Easy to book appointments with the VCA app. Would highly recommend for any furry friends.

My dog loves coming here - that says a lot. I've been taking my husky to VCA Eastside in Stoney Creek since I got him about 8 months ago. The veterinarian's are all gracious, caring, gentle, and understanding people, which makes all the difference. I sincerely recommend the care club package they offer, especially for puppies. It's saved me a lot of money in the long run with unexpected visits to the vet & nail trims.

Awesome place! Dr. Scott is really calm and caring around my dog, and the ladies at the front of the desk are really accommodating and provided great customer service.

Additionally, when I call with questions, I’m given no hassle, and they really try so hard to give me the info I need.

We board our dog Penny at Eastside and they are amazing! Our dog is very nervous and they go out of their way to make her stay comfortable and stress-free. I highly recommend them!

Always so happy with the customer service and care we receive when we board our two Vizslas here. The staff are friendly and amazing with our boys.

CYTOPOINT —Attention all pet parents that are paying VCA Eastside for this to be administered. Price structure is HIGHLY inflated. I paid only $37 for this drug to be administered by a Vet (not vet tech) in August, at a dermatologist specialist in Guelph. At VCA Eastside I was shocked to pay $122 for the same service and was told that every clinic has their own cost markups. Very disappointing that this level of markup is legally allowed.

I absolutely love out Vet hospital for our precious Chalupa! Everyone of their staff members are kind and caring. They go above and beyond with a smile on their face! I definitely love the reminder texts or calls they offer, and the texting help line just in case you are worried about your pets health in that moment. Very clean facility and although we are lucky not to have to go in for anything serious for our chuchu, we did have her get fixed and that went so smoothly. All in all, a great bright place to bring your fur babies. I'm so grateful we live close by to call Eastside Animal Hospital our own! Thanks

My daughter and I recently had to go through euthanizing our hamster due to the fate of our cats ripping his leg off by trying to yank him through the bars I spoke with Nikki and she helped me make the transition easier, although my daughter and I are heartbroken we were glad she was able to help us! Thank you!

Dr Scott was so helpful helping me with my cat whose not been well.
I am glad to have such a great vet who cares.
However the only mark down I would say I am shocked to see a follow up appointment costs $50-70.

Won't take my cat's anywhere else! Amazing staff here, they were so good to my Jax! Another appointment there next week and I don't get as nervous now bringing them to the vet as they treat your animals like they would their own!:)

Best place ever to bring your pet's. I trust them with my Jax, he's been through alot lately with his surgery for a fractured femur, Dr Carol was amazing with us, and referred us to an amazing emergency surgeon who helped my baby. 4 days post OP, and my boy is slowly coming around to his old self. Will continue to bring my boys here to receive the very BEST care! 5 cat stars for this place!
