I have been a couple times with 100+ pound Rottweilers. They give you all your options. Make suggestions. Reasonably priced.

Dog was overdue for a nail trim, couldn't get into our regular vet so made an appointment here, used to get it done here but stopped when the price became around 30 for a simple trim. Figured it would be about same still. Was in there 5 min and held my dog for them while they did a simple trim. Cost me 47.65 with tax today. No quote ahead of time. I told them thats insane.and asked why it was so expensive. Response was "I dont know. " That's $571 an hour. Will never go back.

Me and my girlfriend took her cat in for what we thought was a FREE first exam after signing up for a FREE FIRST EXAM on the website which we thought was awesome. After we take her terrified cat into the office for a minute a nice vet came in and asked some routine questions and left shortly after. Another came in and did a quick check of the cats heart and weight etc nothing too crazy. After we asked what the cats sniffling could be about the vet listed a bunch of sickness’ cats can have generally like she had just read a webmd page and told us the cat is likely fine. All and all we were probably there for about less than 20 mins. On the way out we asked the receptionist if we were good to go and she said” yep, ” so we left without paying to come home to a call saying we have an invoice. We explained it was a FREE FIRST EXAM, but they said suddenly it was different because they were told the cat was unwell because of her sniffling? But WE were told she was well? So suddenly we’re supposed to pay? We will never be going back for anything believe the other reviews saying this place is a money grab money-first-healthcare-second business. They didn’t do anything we hadn’t already thought of and the only reason we wanted reassurance was because we watched our friends cat die the day before.

This place in my opinion started out with good intentions, but has turned into a money-grab veteranary operation in Barrie. The staff will upsell you on everything. Even the simplest of request will cost you a fortune! On top of being financially gouged.you will be faced with drama every single time your pet needs the simplest of attention. It is not worth the financial burden or stress when there are other vets in the area.

I am treated very well at this vet, I’m happy to take all my pets here! Thank you for being patient and welcoming with me and my husky

This review is long overdue. I have had many emergencies with my cats and dog and O'Sullivan Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond to help us in any way that they can.

My cat Bubbie was very sick and it was very difficult to figure out what was going on, i had to rush him down here on many occasions, they ran endless tests to get to the bottom of it and they provided him with amazing care on his recovery.

My other cat Hobo had a blockage and they tried many things to resolve the issue, they then referred him to another emerge clinic where they were able to save his life.

Lastly, My dog Bosco came here when he became sick and our local vet wasn't able to help us, they ran tests and discovered that he had lung cancer, they were so compassionate and provided us with our options and resources to help him with end of life care.

I can't thank everyone here enough for everything that they have done to help me and my beloved animals. They followed up with us after every visit and would call or text to get an update on how they were doing and were always happy to help. They sent us a sympathy card after my dog passed away. They aren't given enough credit for all the amazing things that they do for us and our pets. I am forever grateful for this amazing team.

Please remember and be mindful that they can only do so much to help our pets. In certain situations, unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to save our beloved family members and that is nobody's fault, sadly it's a part of life. I'm very certain that they would save every animal if they could. Also, they aren't a charity and they can't afford to provide free care for our pets for those that have complained about how much they are charged or how they wouldn't just help their animals for free.

Thank you O'sullivan Animal Hospital for everything you do!:)

They have always been great with our furbabies. So much so we use them as our primary vet. Our boys love it there

Over priced, complete rip off artists
Kicked out Paezonies from the 420 Leacock strip mall
Then brought in Domino's Pizza. Just as bad as pizza pizza

This was our first experience here as scared parents as our older fellow had an episode of sorts in the night. The girls were super kind and thorough, followed up respectfully and my fur baby is just fine. Looking forward to establishing a relationship with these folks as my baby continues to age.

Thanku VCA for helping my sweet cockapoo, fast efficient service, super friendly & helpful staff️

This is our regular vet, they provide excellent care and take the time to make our dog very comfortable.

The vet techs, vetrinarians, and front office staff are all amazing.

Regularly pick up veterinary cat food here for my fur ball, staff is always helpful and the food I need for my cats is always in stock.
08 March 2023 6:21
I connected with this animal hospital on a Saturday and they walked me through my concern with my cat, Ellen.
They were able to fit me in the next day on a Sunday.
The staff and doctor was very helpful and they explained everything before doing anything. They provided upfront estimates and options and was honest about treatment.

Thank you very much for helping Miss Ellen

I never want to leave a bad review, but I really did not appreciate the experience of putting my cat down here. My cat was in a lot of pain and after a 5 minute or less physical, we were handed a list of expensive tests that we could not afford. We felt our only option was to put him down because he was suffering a lot and could barely move. Then we were handed a list of expensive urns and paw prints to chose from, and then the debit machine was brought in before the euthanasia process even started and I had to pay while I was crying, knowing that I was paying for them to kill my cat while he was meowing and in pain next to me. The whole thing felt like a business transaction and the process was so awkward, no empathy felt from the vets. Absolutely awful.
14 February 2023 21:18
Our animals are in good hands when they come here. We have 6 cats, 1 dog, and the girls are great with every one of them. Have recommended these guys to all our friends.
13 February 2023 10:36
A family friend recommended i take my cat and at the time new 8 week old German Shepherd here, as they were "top notch. " I'll admit, they were great the first few months we were with them, but very quickly I noticed some red flags. Our dogs vet, Dr. Samantha Jenkins left the practice, the prices went up, and they wouldn't remain open 24 hours, despite their sign in the door and building saying so. 1 yearly exam for my dog would cost me over $250, and I find their bedside manner no longer exists. I put my cat on a specialized diet with help from them, and I was told she needed biweekly weight checks and a wellness check. Im a full time student working only part time, and had to push these weight checks, until a month ago when they told me to bring her in for a wellness exam because "they let it slide for a couple months, but we refuse to wait any longer, " more or less threatening me. I get that vets need to make money, but you guys are taking it way too far. Everything is business and I refuse to allow you to treat my girls anymore. We've since moved over to Allandale and the girls have apps in the next couple months. In short, we only had this vet for 18 months.
11 February 2023 17:34
My dog was attacked by an off leash dog and when I called them, they told me they will take us in immediately to be examined and get stitches. I've been there 2 times after that with another dog of mine, and the vets and techs are very helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. They often call to check up and get an update how the dog is doing which is an extra cherry on top. My dogs are in great condition, thank you!
03 January 2023 10:47
Called 5 other vets for an emergency with my dog. No one would take him. Called VCA & they were the only ones to help. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and vet was very informative and kind. Thank you all so much!
06 December 2022 12:35
Back in 2016 I brought my cat in because her eye didn’t look normal. They came to the conclusion that it was glaucoma and said the eye would need removed. They gave her medication which is known to cause kidney damage and of course I knew nothing about it at the time. Not only was the quote for the surgery outrageous but the medication caused my cat to have kidney failure. She had the eye surgery done at a different vet for half of what this one quoted, and in the end the kidney failure is what killed her, not the glaucoma. I would never recommend this place to anyone. All they care about is the $$$$$$$$, nothing else!
04 December 2022 21:19
I have dealt with other veterinary offices for our vizsla pup and didn't have the best experience. I can't say enough good things about the staff at O'Sullivan's. They are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and I so appreciate it!
30 November 2022 5:16
I take both my dogs here and it’s always a great experience, office is always clean and they are so good with both my dogs, one who can be very reactive and they are nothing but patient and always make coming in a good experience for us!
16 November 2022 0:19
Have been taking my pets here for years and always a good experience. I never feel pressured to pay for expensive options.
09 November 2022 11:00
We go there only for emergencies THE BED SIDE MANNER IS UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE! The last time we were there we were waiting and we saw a dog come out and it's owner was so happy 2 see her dog and then noticed a tube hanging out and the tech 2and took the dog 2 the back 2 I assume remove it. I noticed the only reviews on here are good ones are you guys one sided?
03 November 2022 12:35
I was suggested to take my fur babies to this clinic and I was so impressed with the compassion and the effort they make to comfort you and your animal
02 November 2022 6:17
I've been going here for a while it always seemed pricy, but I figured it was worth it.unfortunately my kitty isn’t here today because this vet thought it was more important to rob a sobbing girl then to save an animal.i gave this vet 3,600$ and i still don’t know why i had to say goodbye to my kitty.she was young and vibrant, she got sick and was throwing up a lot turning yellow, not eating or drinking.we did blood tests, xrays, etc.if there was a test, we did it.still never knowing what was wrong.i was told to give a large sum of 1,500 for her to stay the night. So they could watch her and make sure she had water and food. Because she wouldn't eat or drink. She was yellow and 7lbs.
I trusted them with everything.not even 24 hours i was called to come say goodbye to her.i didn’t even have time to process, I never drove so quick from Orillia to barrie.
Because I had given them my savings and everything to try and help my kitty, I wasn't able to afford the after life process. So after spending months with this vet, they decided when my little girl passed to throw her into a cardboard box and hand her over.
This vet is cruel. They will take advantage of you when you are down because animals are always gonna be better then humans and this vet reminded me. I wish no pet the pain my finkle went through from going here. I wish I had a different vet at the time. I really believe they could have done something and instead saw me as a dollar sign. I'm still in debt from this.
They never called or emailed nothing. This really where you want your fur family members to be treated?
Remember animals don't have a voice. We have to speak for them. And this vet. Murders family members.
26 October 2022 14:22
Dr. David Dukoff was beyond compassionate and so validating. He spoke to me about my cat Andy as if I had knowledge (which I do) regarding liver issues and totally made me feel competent. Additionally, reception and the vet tech on duty were very polite, caring, and I could see they really care. I was offered coffee, allowed in with my cat, and overall a very good experience. I would recommend this place as an urgent care clinic any day. Thank you all so much.
22 October 2022 17:00
This place is killing people’s pets and only care about the money. Needs to be shut down. If you care about your animal and others animals, stay aware!
06 October 2022 11:05
Thank you to the staff. On a very difficult day for my Grandma, the staff at the clinic assisted her in saying goodbye to her lifelong friend Kiki. They were compassionate, caring, and supportive. Sincerely appreciated!
18 September 2022 19:21
Being an emergency hospital with walk-in service it is quite a useful place to have in your emergency numbers in my opinion they are better than the one just down the road on Dunlop Street. At this point in time nobody should be having any covid restrictions at this hospital they don't the one down the road at dunlops and 400 wanted us to wait midday in the car for what could have been 4 hours and even then they told me I might not get in as opposed to VCA which not only when I walked in the door did they take my dog right away and they gave me clear instructions that I could go do my other things in the area and they would call me to come back when they had information on my dog which is a heck of a lot more useful and the added bonus that they don't treat you like a plague victim (covid) they allowed you to also wait in there waiting room if you wished. The doctor was pleasant easy to talk to and explain things very thoroughly in plain English. The ladies at the front counter we're also very pleasant and easy to converse with I would highly suggest this as your backup emergency clinic

We have used O'Sullivan's for years and they have exceptional care for animals. I highly recommend their services for anyone that is looking for a Vet for their fur babies!
27 March 2022 8:45
O'Sullivan's have, three times over, helped me deal with serious emergencies with my dog and cat (dog twice, cat once). Each time we came away with a much healthier pet, and I would say they have saved both my dog's and cat's life.

My dog had liver disease and stopped eating and became very lethargic. By the time we went to O'Sullivan's we were desperate, and although it wasn't easy (we had to administer lots of medication to a dog who wouldn't eat) she eventually started to turn around and is now eating and as playful as ever.

My cat, just before new years 2021, became very ill. Vomiting, panting, stopped eating and drinking and pooping. Nothing came up after diagnostics, no obstruction other than bloodwork showing low white and red blood cell levels. This was a desperate case, and they shot him full of steroids, hydrating injection, anti nausea and sent us home with anti biotics. He didn't throw up after that at all. An hour or so after got home he started to turn around, and slowly improved. In two weeks he was 100% himself (he likely ate something he shouldn't have and poisoned himself).

They know what they are doing. I am forever thankful for the doctors there. I've only given a 4/5 because there are some administrative issues we dealt with. Notably, we were *sent home with the wrong medication, * a very serious error. They often have outrageous wait times, although I understand it's a hospital. And a few times they've clearly forgotten about us, especially after Covid, because they don't allow people inside (out of sight out of mind).

But if you have a real life emergency with your pet, don't hesitate to go here. Your animal will be well taken care of.
26 February 2022 15:08
Worst office ever. Wish I took my dog out sooner, continusly having to wait to pay even when not busy. Always having to check what they were trying to do, because of wrong diagnosis. Front desk girl was very rude and uncaring

About a month or so ago, I had to visit O'Sullivan because my puppy, Maisie, had cut her foot in several spots during our hike in the forest. And since I was visiting family up north, I was nowhere near my regular vet and every vet office near Gravenhurst was unable to take us. So, off we went to O'Sullivan! The wait was about 5-6 hours but, we were obviously not a near fatal emergency so I expected no less and completely understood. The ladies I spoke to on the phone and in person were so incredibly helpful with warning me about the wait time and giving me the option to give Maisie to them during the wait period because I didn't live close enough to just go home and wait. (I drove all the way from Bala to Barrie haha) I left her with them feeling like she was in good hands which eased my anxiety

After the Dr checked her out, she called to give me her thoughts and kept me completely updated on what they were doing, have done, and might do (including medication, wound cleaning, tissue glue, stitches, etc). She was clear and gave me several options with her suggestions as well as detailed reports on her thoughts on the injuries. We decided on tissue glue with medication and wound cleaning. I did not feel left in the dark or pressured to do anything whatsoever, I was very comfortable during the whole process. I even gave consent for sedation since Maisie can be incredibly sassy sometimes but the doctor was not too worried about it and only suggested a medication to relax her rather than full sedation (which worked!) She was very knowledgeable and didn't make me feel like Maisie was difficult (even though I know she can be and probably was!)

I felt that the pricing was fair for the care, helpfulness, kindness, and treatment that Maisie and I received. Keep in mind that this is an emergency hospital and therefore will be more expensive than your regular vet! The facility was also very clean and modern which eased my anxiety too.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband brought our dog in on December 23rd to have his teeth and skin checked. After a brief once over he was sent home with a recommendation to have his teeth cleaned and nothing of concern with his skin. Upon returning home we found a small growth on his back and called O'Sullivan's the next day and mentioned what we had found. We were told we would have to pay an ADDITIONAL diagnosis fee despite having gone in SPECIFICALLY to have his skin looked at. I asked that a manager call me as they had already left for the day and I did not feel that an additional fee was warranted. As of January 6th I have not heard back from the vet. We bought out dog to Allendale where he was diagnosed with a skin infection that O'Sullivan's clearly either missed or blatantly ignored. If you value your pet AT ALL I suggest going elsewhere. He could have been on antibiotics much earlier to treat his infection had they actually done what we asked when we brought him in. They clearly care SIGNIFICANTLY more about getting whatever money they can from you rather than actually treating your pet.
Do yourself and pet a favour and go elsewhere.

I brought my kitty in last minute because he hadn't been feeling well, and this team was so helpful and efficient. I had him back within an hour and a half of dropping him off (I was on triage, not appointment). They provided a thorough explanation of next steps and explained what I should look for in the future. Amazing service!
20 January 2022 5:03
I had to rush my dog into the Hospital on Christmas Eve due to an emergency. I was worried that given the holiday there may be extensive delays. However the staff was extremely prompt and took my dog in right away. They were very kind and phoned me directly several times to update me on my dog's condition. The Vet also phoned me directly and provided a thorough rundown of bloodwork results. Once my dog was back home, they followed up a few times to ensure she was recovering well. I highly recommend bringing your pet here.
26 December 2021 22:02
The word incompetent is the first thing that comes to mind. Won't waste my time or money at this clinic again.
02 November 2021 12:34
This place in my opinion started out with good intentions, but has turned into a money-grab veteranary operation in Barrie. The staff will upsell you on everything. Even the simplest of request will cost you a fortune! On top of being financially gouged, you will be faced with drama every single time your pet needs the simplest of attention. My doberman Odis took a turn with his health at age 12 - we brought him in and right away and the staff went above and beyond attending to our dog with his pain allowing family to attend their clinic to say our goodbyes - they were compassionate and professional I will never forget their how they made our dog comfortable in his final moments. Thank you to the entire staff I will never forget the precious last moments we had with our family dog.
21 October 2021 15:03
Staff was very kind and supportive. Vet went above and beyond and was fully transparent with testing/prices.
16 September 2021 22:08
Called yesterday morning to find out about dewormer for a kitten I had just rescued, was told by one girl how much it was going to cost. Drover over to pick up the medication and when I got there and called in the girl I spoke with (different than the first) very rudely informed me that they wouldn't give me the medication unless I booked an over priced exam with them. No worries though I found what I needed elsewhere. I will no longer be using this vet clinic and will find somewhere new to take my dogs.
31 August 2021 10:00
I paid these people for the opportunity to upsell me. My girlfriend told them what my cat needed. They did nothing but try to upsell me on an $80 test. We told them no. They charged us anyways. Now I have to go in and get a refund, or trust these people, that clearly can't keep books very well, and are a little too eager to take my, credit card over the phone. If they can't even charge people properly why would I trust the health of my animal with them?
19 August 2021 4:33
Not happy with the service we had we waited 6 hours to have one procedure done which normally only takes 30 mins we were first told it would take 2 hours turned into 6hours I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
15 August 2021 0:32
Each professional was so loving with our dog! They gave us space to make each decision and gave us all the information we needed to make the best choices. They were able to save him and determine the cause of issue very quickly!
Our young dog formed large urinary stones and the experienced vet were able to push them out of his urethra and into his bladder where they were able to safely remove all stones! Aloe the @sillydoggu is back to his normal self! The entire team works tirelessly day and night to make sure your pet is safe and is not alone through their time of need! They are honest and loving and you can see it in everything they do. If you are in need of an emergency do not hesitate to seek help here! It might just save your pet's life and help everyone who loves them.
Months after his care, this hospital has been supporting Aloe's after care and ALL of my endless questions and concerns. They are highly honest throughout the entire process and your money is always going towards quality human and pet care!
Thank you for the entire team for what you do. I will never stop wishing the best for each of you for all the support you have given Aloe.
10 August 2021 5:35
Super helpful on a Sunday evening despite an unusual amount of emergency situations. They don't make enough to do what they do.

Thanks so much for taking care of Ricky and explaining the plan.
04 August 2021 10:03
Daniella was exceptionally helpful, and took the time to ask all of my worrisome / slightly excessive questions. Will take all of my feline future health here!
01 August 2021 21:41
Great compassionate staff you can tell really care about what they do, 24hrs 7 days a week emergency walk-in services! Fully equipped facilities they're the Hospital that other clinics recommend due to their capabilities I rest easier knowing that O'Sullivan's is there for my family I found them after being refused emergency services from 3 different vet clinics they're upfront about fee's and a care plan. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any of your furry family members medical needs it would be great if more clinics were this level of care even then I'd still go to O'Sullivan's thank you all so much for what all of you do and the level of care your great staff provide for my little man truly grateful
01 August 2021 5:34
I brought my cat here for the first time to be fixed and get shots done. Without hesitation the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything to me regarding my cats health and instructions. I’ve never had a vet take such better care of my fur baby than at O’Sullivans. Thanks for the excellent care! Highly recommend if your looking for a new vet!
20 July 2021 5:27
Today we had to take our dog here unexpectedly as he hurt himself and appeared to be in pain.   From the moment we called, to being seen and then to leaving the entire team was beyond kind and helpful! Despite covid protocols and not being able to go in with him (which made us a little scared as trusting strangers) everyone was kind and reassuring and made the process that much better.   Although we never met the vet in person she took time over the phone to explain everything and answer all of our questions.   No further tests, meds or procedures were ever pushed on us and we were giving options and everything was explained.   I would highly recommend them as we treat our fur baby as family and felt they did the same.   Beyond thankful for the care and help and kindness we received today! Thank you seems to small of words for just how much we appreciated all the help! Thank you!
15 June 2021 23:22
Vet techs were terrible, always offered to find out or see, than left me standing outside the clinic never to return. Or came back outside for another customer. The Vet was very nice. Happy to have a 24/7 Vet offered.
15 June 2021 1:52
When my 19 year old fur baby wasn't doing so well I was beside myself and didn't know where/who to go to as I've never had an urgent situation with a pet. After some online research I called O'Sullivan Animal Hospital. From the intake to the initial exam to the vets recommendations all staff was kind and caring. They were very transparent with the costs and made sure to speak with me before any treatment was given. All and all they made the experience of getting my baby help very easy and clear. Would recommend to any pet parents that cannot wait for their regular vet to schedule an appointment.
07 June 2021 0:17
The doctors and staff here help Ozzy twenty-four hours a day.he was very sick when they met him and now he's doing amazing. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for all your help best veterinarian clinic in Barrie Ontario
27 May 2021 19:49
I have brought two of my dogs, Star & Max when it was their time. They are compassionate, and caring. It was also so nice and thoughtful to receive a sympathy card from Dr. Samantha. Thank you so much, very much appreciated.
10 April 2021 0:56
I used this clinic Sunday for the first time for an emergency visit. The exam fee was only $40 more than my regular clinic so I feel that was very fair. Dr Li was wonderful and explained everything to me and told me all costs up front. Staff has called twice since to see how he is doing. I hope I never have to see you again, but should another emergency arise I will return for your amazing service. Thank you for looking after my dog Levon on Sunday!
24 March 2021 3:49
Thank you all for helping me and my mother with the end of my beloved cat's life on January 19th. For the rest of my life I'll always appreciate your kindness as well as you being there at such short notice and still allowing us to be there for him at the end even in the middle of the lockdown. You were all so gentle, helpful, and kind; I can't thank and recommend you enough. If I could give more than five stars I would.

We have been going to O'Sullivan for close to 10 years. We couldn't be happier with Dr. Anne Watson's exceptional care of our dog who has hip dysplasia. Throughout his diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Watson has provided us with excellent information and given us with many options for his treatment plan and pain relief. She is an amazing vet who has been kind to our whole family and her efforts have made such a dramatic change for our dog's comfort and quality of life. Our 12 year old Golden who passed a year ago was cared for by O'Sullivan Animal Hospital for most of his life. He received quality care and was always greeted warmly by the staff there. His cancer diagnosis, palliative and end of life care was outstanding. We were given all options and informed of all possible costs and outcomes when it came time to make difficult decisions. Whenever we were concerned he was not comfortable, the staff promptly responded and addressed our concerns. We could not have asked for a better passing for our beloved Golden. The staff were exceptionally compassionate and we had a lot of comfort that he died the most comfortable, peaceful and loving environment possible.

Wouldn't sell 180$ insulin unless an undiscussed 100$ yearly diabetic management fee was paid. I guess that was not covered in the 1000$ we spent to find out he was diabetic and get set up in the first place 9 months ago. Anyway theres more then one vet in town. By the last convo I had had with them they don't seem to interested in what I think of them so here is there 1* review. Enjoy and be safe everyone.

Our senior cat clearly had an abscess on his back and was in a lot of pain. We knew what the problem was right away because our dog had the same issue last year. But because of his age, they refused to look at or treat the abscess without first doing a full medical (at the cost of $3000) just incase he had other medical issues too. He's 18+ years old, chances of him having other issues are quite possible, but that was NOT what we were there for. We just wanted them to treat the abscess! But they refused. Unfortunately, this was at midnight on Saturday and no other vets were open. After paying the $109 checkup fee (and not receiving any help from them whatsoever) and then taking him home, we had to take care of him ourselves. This morning the abscess burst and we have an appointment with a different vet tomorrow to get it drained properly. In the meantime, we are just taking care of him ourselves, no thanks to O'Sullivans.

I’ve been there a few times with my almost 8 year old Shih tzu, once because my dog kept throwing up and most recently because the mass cell tumour on her lip blew up to the size of a golf ball. We honestly thought we were going to lose her and we were devastated, we cried for 3 days. They got her in that day, gave her pain meds and basically told us to keep her comfortable until we were ready to make that decision. Well by some miracle, a week later-she made a complete recovery, the swelling went down and now you can barely see the lump on her lip. She’s eating normally, drinking and going to the bathroom regularly. She’s playing, running, and loves her walks again. They always call a day or so later to check on your fur baby as well. I don’t know what was in those pain meds but I am sooo grateful that the vet prescribed them. We got our little girl back. I know her cancer will never go away but as long as she’s happy & healthy, we are going to enjoy every moment with our sweet baby girl. Thank you to all the staff at O’Sullivans! ️️

The WORST vet in Barrie. Not only are they incredibly overpriced for everything, but now they charge $28 for a nail trim. $28! Are you kidding me? It takes 45 seconds. This used to be a free service 4 days a week between 12-4. It was the LEAST they could do for the prices they were charging for regular check ups, vaccines, flea and tick meds etc. I’m 100% taking my business elsewhere and my dogs have been going there for 15 years! Great way to lose business O’Sullivan!

My friend has her dog put down a couple months ago here after making them spend thousands of dollars a couple days before. Once the dog had passed they forgot it in the FREEZER for three weeks before my friend had to call and ask what was going on. Horrible service. They are heartless. A pet is an important member of the family and they treat them close to nothing.

Dr Anne Watson was the most compassionate, caring vet with my dog. She truly put me at ease. Best vet I have seen throughout the 12 years with my dog? Throughout this stressful time she spent 20 mins on the phone with me explaining everything, answered all of my questions and could not do enough for me. Thank you and your awesome staff

Really great experience! We had our first visit the other day on very short notice, our regular vet couldn't take our dog for 4 days, but they got our dog in the day of and were very thorough and caring with our dog. The price was really reasonable considering they are 24hr. Would definitely recommend them to anybody.

Dr Sullivan was absolutely amazing, we have a 9 year old chihuahua and I dropped him off in tears unsure of what was going on. She was through, compassionate and informative. She called with updates and was upfront and honest. The best experience I’ve ever had with a vet, I felt so comfortable and at ease with her looking after our little guy. Thank you so much

Just a giant money game. Depending on what you can afford, is what they will give you. If your pocket book is well lined, then expect great service. If not then expect the bare minimum.
As thet said on the phone. "We have a business to run". I agree you have your business, but your in the damn business of compassion. Heartless

Profit margin must be Huge for a few Minutes Exam for Over 100 Dollars I Need to Recover with 10 Hours of my Work. Not Descent. Even, I waited Over 30 Mins in the Room while the Vet was in and out. I Asked Her for the List of Shots Required (deworming and what not) and prices. That didn't happen. I had to have a written list of shots and prices that took over 10 mins to Provide. Shop around and check Reviews. That was my Mistake.

Our dog tore her ACL and the female vet recommended glucosamine chondroitin supplements? Come on this is a vet clinic not a homeopathic clinic, use evidence base medicine please - wasted hundreds of dollars.

Incredible personnel. Amazing facility. And Dr Simon was absolutely fantastic. I have never had such an awesome vet visit. As we travel back to Alberta my dog is getting better by the hour. Couldn't ask for a better experience and outcome for an emergency situation. Thank you all.

Filled out a form online for a free first health check up for new patients and when i called to book it in and said my cat has a few bumps on her back they told me I can't bring her in for free because it is only for "healthy pets". Well. That kind of defeats the purpose of a wellness check! Also, it never stated anywhere on the form i filled out it was only intended for healthy animals. They denied me and when i asked if i could speak to a manager, they said they would have the manager call me back. Its been two weeks now and NO ONE has reached out to me. I understand they're not obligated to do anything for free. But they wasted my time and now i get the impression they dont care about animals if they just push away a potential client. And before i even saw the free voucher i was planning on bringing my cat there anyways. Not anymore!

This clinic refused to provide my cat with more of his medication without coming in for a checkup. When we took him in for his check up, the vet immediately questioned why we even brought the cat in, as he was clearly in bad shape, and it was not time for his annual check up. The vet also mentioned house visits which were never mentioned to us before. Our cat died less than an hour from bringing him home from the vet. A trip that was never necessary but they refused to refill his meds even though it wasn't time for his checkup and the vet told us he wasnt in shape to be there. Thanks for nothing! Please take your loved ones to a place that actually cares.

This past Sunday my 9 year old lab started showing signs of laboured breathing. My normal vet was closed and so I decided to try o’ Sullivan’s for the first time. We saw dr shad and he ran a bunch of tests. A couple hours later we found out his lungs were filled with blood That was most likely caused by a cancerous tumor. It all happened so fast.we weren’t ready to say goodbye but this vet made sure that Oakley was taken good care of during the whole process. We were given tons of time to say goodbye and everyone was so polite. Thank you dr shad for doing the best you could and to the staff that took care of oaks in his last hours. We will forever miss our boy.

Had a horrible experience here a couple years ago. I rescued my boy, Mr T, and his neutering procedure (done by the rescues vet) produced some complications. We made the choice to take him to O' Sullivan's as they were the only vet open at the time late on a Friday night. While the front desk staff was polite and courteous, that is where the pleasant experience stopped. The Vet that we saw, was clearly lacking a few things; experience and people skills to name a few. She seemed very unsure of what to do left the room a few times to consult the other vet on call. After she returned, she said that the bleeding would stop and she prescribed an antibiotic. We paid the bill and went home. No less than two hours later, the bleeding had gotten progressively worse. We rushed Mr T back, and got back in to see the same vet. Again, she didn't know what to do. She offered to prescribe more antibiotics, but we refused. Her final attempt was offering us a bigger cone for his head, which we ended up taking. We went out to pay for the cone, and we were charged again for the appointment, even though we had been there a few hours previous. We asked about the consult fee, and the girl said it was standard for this practice. I was just too exhausted to fight (as it was approx 2 am and i had been up since 4: 30 am the day previous), so we paid again. I asked that the records of the visits today be sent to my normal vet right away.
I was able to get into to see my normal vet the following Monday. My normal vet was in shock. Almost no notes on the visits we had, which he was disappointed about. At the End, Mr T got fixed up by my normal vet quickly. I don't know if the vet on call was having a bad day, or was unsure. However, hundreds of dollars spent when all that was need stitches to be fixed. Hopefully this clinic has improved since my experience but looking at the latest reviews its a mixed bag.

We drove over 3 hours to go to O'Sullivan's on the recommendation of 2 friends. We can't be more grateful for your compassion and understanding in our most difficult hour. Our Sunny girl was very ill and in pain. Your amazing staff helped her cross the rainbow bridge in the arms of her Dad, with minimal discomfort. Thank you for showing true humanity. Our hearts are broken but we are comforted by the knowledge that she isn't in pain anymore. Thank you.

How dose 2 vets on 2 separate days miss my dogs abscessed teeth first visit was almost $600 don't no what I paid for. Went back 2 days later and they wanted $1500 dollars for more testing I kept asking about his teeth. Nope it's not his teeth. I went for a second opinion found out it was his mouth antibiotics and couple teeth out dog is good.
When my dogs medical papers were sent to the new doctor they were not impressed with how little detail they were putting in the reports. They push for all this testing once I couldn't afford what they were asking for I have been their 10 years I was looking to make a couple payments. They told me to apply for a credit card. This place used to be excellent but since they expanded their service has gone down hill and it seems it's all about the bottom dollar. If you use this vet I would recommend to always get a second opinion.

Very rude staff. I have two dogs I bring to this animal hospital and I will never return after today’s treatment from an employee. I was parked in a marked parking spot in the plaza (legal parking spot) when an employee from the animal hospital pulled me out of a store to move my vehicle so she could get by instead of going around because the restaurant put their garbage bin in the way of the road. Then proceed to verbal assault me and give my the finger and drive away then walk back into Oh Sullivans animal Hospital. Not sure I deserved this treatment I did nothing wrong.

These type of employees scare business away. We will drive across town now before we ever return to this place.

Rufus, our 51/2 yr old male golden was diagnosed with DCM by O’Sullivan’s when we visited for other reasons.

Our previous 15 yr vet missed all the signs. Rufus is on meds and supplements and is doing really really great. Was it grain free food, don’t know, but Dr Pilon and his fantastic staff are doing a great job of looking after Rufus.
