I went to this place recently to just remove the gel and trim my nails, what can be easier? I don’t want to go into every single detail and make it a poem but these people do not know what they are doing. First she was fighting the manicure machine for like 7 min, then her technique of removing the gel was really weird, also she can’t missing my nail while trimming. Finally she couldn’t make my nails look even, they were long from one side and short from the other side. At that point I couldn’t stand this any more and I just walked out with ugly looking nails not properly trimmed. Went straight to another place for help. While I was there another tech made another customer’s toe bleed and couldn’t stop the bleeding. They didn’t use gloves while doing the procedures. Avoid this place!

It was terrible! They did not do my nails how I wanted, the shape was bad and it wasn’t even close to the design. Then, after I complained about it not being done properly and stated that I wanted it to be redone, they became hostile and began to show an attitude. I don’t recommend it.

Even though the interior is nothing special and it might ruin your experience a bit, the owners are friendly and accommodating. I can highly recommend Thy: she gives the best foot massage and overall provides good service. Jennie is the best at giving a French manicure: gel shellac lasts and looks impeccable for 3.5-4 weeks, no cracks. She is truly unparalleled, I can vouch for her service.

I do not recommend this place at all.
The customer service is horrific.

I like that it's spacious and has nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Every nail place is only as good as its technicians. I've been going to Tee or Anna for long time, both are very good and capable.

Worst customer service ever. They do a rush job on everything and nickle and dime you. The main lady is extremely rude and not friendly. If you havnt had a bad experience yet it's just a matter of time till you won't want to step foot back in there. It's unfortunate because it's a good location but I boycott this place now and I tell everyone else to do the same.

Friendly staffs. I did dipping powder and it stayed more than 3 weeks. My mom and I also tried the paraffin treatment and we loved it, nice and warm, especially in the winter when my skin is so dry. Next time will do it again!

I came here and the hostess who works at the front did my manicure. She was so rough to the point, two of my nails started bleeding. When I told her she was really rude and never addressed the problem. My nails were so horrible and the paint job was so messy. It looks like a two year old did my nails. She did not redo the whole hand, ev though it should have been done. It was a horrible experience and do not recommend this place.

Probably one of the WORST manicures I have gotten to date. When I went in, the manicurist told me my nails were too short for shellac and that I should do the dip with manicure (pricier option). Once she filed my nails down to nothing and dipped, I noticed some nails were a lighter colour than others. She said that was normal. There was NO manicure or hand massage done either. Once I finished drying my nails- I asked if she was going to do my cuticles as nothing was done. She said it was just the dip because it was my first time doing it and that’s why looked so messy. At the end, she took $10 off. It’s now day 3 with the dip and nail is ALREADY chipped. Definitely, never going back.

This place is not bad. Few girls are doing good and quality work. The facility is clean and big. Prices are decent, some services are cheaper than in a few other salons around the area. Not a Spa really, to my opinion, but a good casual salon.

Been coming here for years often travelling along way to do so. The girls are knowledgable, professional and friendly and do an excellent job. I see Cindy and Jenny and have always been pleased. Facilities are clean, and attractive. Highly recommend.

My experience in this place was dreadful. I've been coming to this place specifically to see I one esthetician and I trusted that this place would also take care of my friend whom I brought along with me to be serviced as well. Anna, the owner, is rude and doesn't not know the meaning of customer service. After seeing the polish color on her nails, she felt it wasn't for her and asked Anna to please remove it. Rather than being understanding and patient, she scolded my friend and potential new customer and told her how she should have known by the second coat that she didn't like it. Because this is the place I've been known to go, my friend kept her displeasure to herself out of respect for me. After seeing for myself the poor results of the services rendered by Anna and another worker, it was necessary for something to be said. Rather than apologizing and acknowleding that a customer was unsatisfied with not only their service but treatment of her customers, she went on defending her poor and dispicable behaviour. You are in the customer service business. You will come across people with preferences and opinions and if this is an area of contention for you Anna, you should find another line of work. Or just stay home. For everyone else who is thinking of coming here. Don't.

I used to go to this place for many years but I have now taken my business elsewhere due to terrible customer service. Service has definitely gone downhill and they don't pay attention to their customers. I always loved going to Anna but I've noticed now the way she talks to clients is extremely rude and she's always answering the phone/managing the front desk while she's in the middle of my manicure!

Not to mention the last time my mom went for a pedicure, she was cut very bad with the razor and they did absolutely nothing for her. She even had to see a doctor because the cut on her foot was that bad. Very disappointing that they didn't even give her a discount or a special offer.

There's no attention to detail and customer service is horrible. Definitely not the same as it used to be, they just want to take your money. Please avoid this place!

Anna was very rude and has no good customer service.if you talk to her, she won’t listen and does her way. I specifically told her I don’t like when it’s too heavy (in a nice way) and she got rude with me saying, I should have done gell instead out loud in front of everyone.making a scene. They are also more expensive then any other salon I’ve been. 5 dollars more extra to everything. They are not gentle and caring like other nail salons. They do nails very good but the customer service is horrible.and they love money

Service is terrible, no attention to detail, no hot towels no massage, they do not do what is mentioned in their plamphet, just avoid this place, they are awful

My mom and I got our nails done here on Friday afternoon and honestly I am beyond disappointed in our full sets. We paid $275 for two full set of biogel, 2 pedicures and a parafin wax for my mom. If I could rate each service individually I would give the pedicure a 5/5 Tina did both of our pedis and she was AMAZING, they look great and feel great! Now lets talk about our hands I get biogel not because its fancier but to me they are stronger and a lot more appealing to me. Not the case I have had 3 nails break, no pain or roughness in my nail at all which was very weird to me bc normally they kill me especially being 3 days after getting them done. Both of our nails are lumpy and warped. I got a french and its not horrible but its great. We both get manicures with our sets (they clean the cuticles) mine has no complaints but my mom got hers done by the lady who books appointments and she was so distracted by everything else that she cut my moms skin on almost every nail. You service I would recommend is pedis by Tina, if she had your own place and charged me $200 for a simple pedicure I would still go.

I've been coming here for several years. Cindy always does a great job. The way she does my manicure, she always takes her time and is so meticulous. Pedicure is just as good. I drive 25min each time just to get my nails done here and with Cindy. The prices are great too!

I have been a client at Venetian Day Spa for over four years and I will continue to be for many more years to come. I love coming in and being greeted by Ben and his caring and kind personality. Anna is very talented at everything that she does! I have switched over to NuGenisus and I absolutely love it! Today I had a manicure and pedicure and I am so happy with both. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I could easily tell from observation that they are somewhat clean BUT lazy. They have nice facilities but they do not take advantage of it. I got a pedicure done and the basin where you dip your feet was enwrapped in plastic. What does that tell me? That the employees cover it in plastic so they just remove the plastic to avoid cleaning the actual basin. I also observed that they are keen on up-selling. If you are going to upsell a customer the least you can do is not rush the "upgraded" service you will be providing.
As I was getting my pedicure, another lady started on my manicure at the same time; away from the manicure counters.
When I got my manicures done they rested my arm on a random container; I guess they don't have those cushions lol.
First time I went I got cut by the manicurist but she was nice and apologetic about it and applied alcohol, etc. She handled the situation nicely which I appreciated and the overall manicure was still done properly. (Tip: Ask for Kim!)
The second time I went the manicurist (not Kim) scratched up/over-filed my nails before applying the gel (unprofessional nail techs think this makes the gel adhere better but in turn, it damages your nail). She also had me cure my nails for way too long. I found this unusual too so, afterwards I researched and found that this is also incorrect, damaging procedure. Then, she left me under the nail dryer. Literally, she left the store with her coworker without saying a word! Didn't say how long I should dry for or even a simple "bye. " Nothing. I waited for a while then finally figured she's not coming back lol. Then I went to ask the male owner if he could fix some of my nails because some areas were still tacky and had small abrasions. He couldn't do it because he "doesn't know how" (but you're the owner lol). So I had to wait after closing to get them fixed because 3-4 of the nail techs were busy helping customers who came after me.
I went here twice. Overall, I find the service inconsistent, unprofessional and poor especially on my second visit. If the service was OK I'd go back but it was not.
This is my experience. If you do decide to go I hope your experience will be better than mine!

This salon has the absolute worst customer service in comparison to the many other ones I have been to in hopes of dropping them from spending my money there.

The owner is constantly in a bad mood and does not hide the fact that she isn’t happy. They have yelled at me and embrassed me in front of everyone many times. The reason that I am writing this is because I’ve had it today. Today the owner’s husband Ben had wronged me in a polish and made me choose one that changes color after he told me it didn’t.

Anna the owner proceeded to yell by telling me its my fault and I have to pay and that’s too bad and stormed off in the midst of me talking very nicely to her even though I was not happy. Ben the owners husband jumped up and told me it was my fault as well. Not owning up to HIS mistake.

They are money hungry, unprofessional and greedy. I have given them so much business as well as sending my family and friends there. They have no loyalty to customers or relations and are just there to take take take all your money.

Horrible attitude. Terrible morals. They do not deserve your business. Do not go to this salon. Very disappointing.

I have been coming to this salon for just over a year. At first it seemed friendly enough, as with all such salons they speak their own language so you never know what they are saying about you. Anna did my nails and she is exceptionally good at what she does. Somewhere along the way I noticed she could be abrupt with customers. On my last visit there was a new associate of hers working there who was particularly rude to me and I told her I didn't like be spoken to like that. From that point Anna was sullen, impolite, would not speak to me and when I finally asked her '"was she having a bad day" she replied "She always has bad days when she has bad customers" I assume she meant me. Never going back, too bad.

I have been going to this salon since it opened. I believe 14 years ago or so. I have not been disappointed once.obviously there are days where you come in and with no appointment, you have to wait.and it's really busy. But overall.this is my go to place. I have moved to downtown and still find time to come here.
The dipping powder is my favorite! It lasts me as long as 6 weeks! Every single service is phenomenal.waxing is incredible.not painful and super clean and quick.they take their time with everything.
Unfortunate for the poor reviews- they don't give this place justice at all.and I find it extremely unfair. Definitely recommend this place- as one of the best services and salons in the city!
