Ventures went above and beyond for me. My insurance company was a nightmare to deal with but they were with me every step of the way and went out of their way to make sure I wasn’t negatively effected by it. Really decent people and company!

I don't often take the time to post but Richard at Venture Car and Truck Rentals went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of.
We booked at the last minute on the Thanksgiving long weekend and Richard helped us immensely.
The car was in pristine condition and the customer service that we received from Richard was fantastic.
I would recommend Venture Car and Truck rental any day of the week!

Ventures didn't honor my reservation. I booked a vehicle for a Friday, received confirmation, and then was called by them on Friday morning saying that they were not honoring the reservation because it was a nice weekend and they would be able to get a higher price renting at the last minute to somebody who wanted the vehicle for the whole weekend. Extremely frustrating and ruined my plans.

I was in a collision recently and required a rental so I decided to go with Ventures and I'm glad I did!
Not only was the process quick and easy to get in/out of the rental but the staff was very professional and informative, the car was nice and clean, and they also kept me in the loop about my coverages when my insurance wouldn't.
If you're looking for a rental vehicle company that doesn't rip you off, or let you down look no further! Ventures is the place to go, I know where I'm going to be going again if I need a rental!

Don't waste your time or money going to this place. I will never return to this so called business, and have encouraged ppl I know to go elsewhere. Owner is a liar and a thief.

First off, Sahnil was wonderful and very pleasant to deal with. I was offered a Honda Civic 2021 and this car was very dirty and dusty and had obviously not been wiped down as the main screen was covered in a layer of dirt. As these are Covid-19 times I certainly expect better. The car was ok otherwise. I'll mention this was an insurance claim so maybe I didn't get the A1 service. When it came time to return the car I was encouraged to walk the 20 min to where my car was being repaired, instead of the valet drive I was originally offered. I do think if I pushed they would have given me the ride over. I have used many local car rental places before and this would be my last choice given all the better options out there. I will say this definitely could have been worse and all in all I feel they did their best.

Have been renting from ventures for years now. They are a family run business who work super hard to give good customer service (and it shows). They do what they can to keep their prices reasonable and are very accommodating. Thank you Ventures! We appreciate you.

The guy at the front desk has horrible customer service. Very rude and poor organization skills. I will never repeat my business there because of him.

Update Aug 2021: Still a loyal customer! My wife and I rented a moving truck the other day, got stuck in traffic on the way back and ended up returning an hour or so late. Ventures was great about everything and didn't charge us extra for the late return. The customer service here is the best:)

From the moment we called to reserve during a busy time of year (Canada Day long weekend 2021) through to the in-person pickup and inspection of the vehicle (my family rented a Grand Caravan for a long road trip), Richard and his staff were unbelievably professional, courteous and kind. This was the first time we'd ever experienced such solid and compassionate customer service at a rental location (and really, at almost ANY service organization). This should be your first stop for rentals going forward. Hands down. 10/10.

First time renter. Check in process was quick and easy. Friendly service. No price gauge like other companies. Car was clean, sanitized, gas tank full. Car drives great and seems to be well maintained. 24/7 emergency service to a live person on the phone. Looking forward to renting here again.

I rented from Ventures in early July and had a fantastic experience - as someone who rents a lot of cars, I know each one is different and they made sure to show me all the major features (ie: how I get to the gas tank hahaha) and let me know what it would look like if I was returning after hours. I just called to book my second rental from them, and they were amazing when I called with questions around how to get the most bang for my buck! If you are in the area, and even if you're not - its definitely worth checking out!

My partner and I have rented from Ventures Car and Truck Rentals several times, and each time has been a very pleasant experience. They are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and the cars are always very clean (which is even more important during this pandemic). We highly recommend renting from these guys, they’re the best in the whole city!

Hands down I have had the best rental experiences here. We’ve started using their cars maybe 2 months ago and usually we rent from the bigger companies but during covid19 we tried out Ventures because it is within walking distance. Each time has been sooo pleasant, cars are cleaned more thoroughly than the bigger rental companies, they are flexible with any changes, and generally cheaper than Avis/Budget/Enterprise etc.

I’ve had bad rentals from franchised or small companies before so I assumed it would be scammy like that but it absolutely is not! Highly recommend!

My daughter rents from Ventures Car and Truck at Dupont all of the time, for at least the last 5 years or more. I don't drive but she rents to get me around and she is able to rely on the prompt service provided by Richard and notes how professional and personable they are. The cars are sanitized, clean and safe. This is a company you can trust at a budget!

Affordable rates and great customer service! The car I rented out was the Ford Escape, it was readily available and clean the day I picked it up. The process didn't even take long. I won't hesitate to use their services again the next time I would need a car.

This company is the benchmark of what rental companies should aspire to be. The cars are always immaculate, the prices cannot be beat for the quality vehicles you are getting on top of that, the customer service is AMAZING! I cannot stress that enough, these folks ACTUALLY CARE and want you to enjoy whatever venture you are taking (pun intended). On many occasions i have been pleasantly surprised by their kindness and good nature and willingness to go above and beyond. If you don't rent from these folks, you really should. There is not a better company in the city. Period.

Had a great rental experience here. Walked in and the staff was friendly and happy to help me with my truck rental. I rented the 16 foot truck which had a full tank and was in great condition aswell as super clean. The process was painless and I was driving the truck within 15 minutes of arrival. There's a gas station conveniently down the street where you can fill up before returning your rental. I returned the truck with their after hours drop box. Will 100% rent from here again on my next move. Highly reccomend this company, absolutely smooth process, with zero headaches. Thanks guys!
