Purchased OEM replacement bearings for a BC1400 on the Drum… too bad you can’t share pics… the Shute cover won’t fit with “new” bearings…. Different manufacturer then original…. Yet Vermeer never mentions anything about this? Spent an extra 4 hours making it fit! So now who do I charge? Who’s fault is it for this incompetence? !? NOT HAPPY!

I've been and still am a Vermeer fan since 2004-ish.

BC1000XL chippers are awesome. My 2007 is a Cummins engine and is amazing. My 2015 is a Kubota engine which is not as good, but i needed a chipper at the time. Now they go back to the Cummins for 2018/9. Its so frustrating. Head office should keep the model "If it ain't broken, don't fix it".

I used to buy all my Arborist gear, parts and service my many Vermeer chippers, skid steer and stump grinders there for many years, but not anymore. Its just too expensive. It feels like they care about you when you buy the big ticket items, but then screw you on the service and parts.

Nothing against the guys that I deal because they know what they are doing and help me out with my machines.

Instead of "Environmental Charge" write down exactly what this is on my bill.
Instead of "Misc Shop Supplies" write down exactly what supplies you used to service my machines.
There should only be one price for a retail priced Arborist supplies. Don't change it.
