Vermont Square Park

It's a good park.maybe a bit better in the past.too many off-leash dogs next to the playground.

Such a great park! Nice structure, a wading pool, lots of toys all around donated by the community.perfect place to spend many hours.

Cool park for the kids! Gated, lots of space and searing for the adults, cool water/mud pit for digging in. My 9 year old loved it.

Great park for my dog at specific hours. Obviously she loves it there. But also the park inside is a lot of fun.

Someone had broken the front window of our Wing Chun school last Sunday.so we decided to train in this park.perfect space and very nice environment.

Very family friendly. For a city, it's an average park with certain amenities. Definitely very children oriented.

It was slightly crowded (not a bad thing), the equipment were hot so my daughter could not use them much.

One of my favourite parks in the city. Maybe out of nostalgia — I grew up in the area, attended Palmerston, played hockey at Bill Bolton, and went to St Albans over the years. It's not as huge as Trinity or forested like High Park or anything, but it's got lots of space for the dogs, a good playground for the kids, and plenty of seating if you just want to hang out.

Nice park, however can get super crowded even during covid, and the few times it's not crowded you can expect an older person to come up and yell at you for having a dog there. Still a nice little park whenever these aren't the cases lol.

Nice park to bring my kids having fun here. In the past few days, after the mass snow, the kids really enjoy toboggan around.

Great place to bring your kids. Lots of play equipment and a wading pool in the summer. Bring your dog and play catch or run around in the open grass area. Located right next to a hockey arena as well as a youth community centre.

Especially great for toddlers and young children, with a large and varied outside playground, which is fenced in and secure. Wading pool is great for the warm weather.

Surrounded by a lovely nabe, every which way you turned reminded you of x-mas, the lights, great playground.

OMGosh! I loooove this park and so does my son! We don't live in the neighbourhood but my dentist Dr. Dang, at Bathurst-Dupont Dental office is located near here! We also drop by the park to play after our dental visits!

It looks so cool and there are so many things for smaller or bigger children to play on/with (different play structures). A lot of families around the neighborhood have also contributed by donating old toys (like little tike rideable cars) for the kids.

It was "renovated" a few years ago, so it's very nice and clean and well maintained and still has that "new park" feel. They have cool stuff like a little mounted digger, a sand pit area that has a dedicated tap for water (BC you can't build a sand castle without sand AND water!), LOTS of seating, and you just get a very nice and warm friendly neighborhood feel when you go there! Definitely check it out if you are near by and have young children that need to get some energy out!

It's ok. Fairly small. Right beside it is a boys and girls community building with a park for children connected to Vermont park.

Quite a nice big park with plenty to entertain the kids. Nice big mature trees offered us some cover when there was a sun shower. Lots of seating for anyone who needed it!

It really is a nice playground. Lots to do for the kiddies. I don't know about public washrooms. One time years ago we went into the building.
If there was a public washroom I would give this place a 5

We call this the pirate ship park. Great location and fun place to play. The free library boxes nearby are fun too

This park features a large play area with swings, sand, a spin seat, sea-saw, and a splash pad. There are picnic benches and areas with shade under trees. There is a large field separate from the children's playground. There are no public washrooms, but there is a boys and girls club that does have washrooms if the need is urgent.

This park had supposedly high rating. However, we didn't find that alluring. The Park has a playground which has one play structure, splash pad, few benches, sandplace, and a small open area.

There is a enclosed rink area besides the park. Overall an average park, worth visiting for 2-3 hours.

Our favorite park in the area. Shade, tons of things to play with or in, all it is missing is year round barhrooms (though there are some at the arena and at rhe biys and gurls club nearby).

A large beautiful park there are picnic tables comfortable seating as well as rocks a big children's playground and large mature trees when you need to shade it's a great place to walk your dog as well

Spacious with sun and shade and a fun play structure. Never too loud or crowded.

Imagine growing up without a playground and green space. Luckily, the kids in this neighborhood don't have to! Adults can play there too, no shame in having innocent fun.
