Great ambiance, fast and accurate service, very courteous staff and tasty food BUT pricey and portion is a bit smaller. Location is very convenient and city parking is free in the evenings and weekends.

We have been dining at Mt. Vesuvio's for years now. The staff is always very welcoming, Angela is one of the best server, she is always greets us with her biggest smile. The owner Mauritzio always take his time and check on us make sure we are well taken care of. We have a lot of favourites on the menu it's hard to pick. Most of the time with start with a muscle and shrimp appetizer, followed by the famous margarita pizza and the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce is just like little soft pillows when you take each bite.they also have live music on Friday's and/or Saturdays. Highly recommend that restaurant for any occasions.

I came here for my birthday dinner- I ordered the chicken breast with veggies. The chicken was hard on the top and the veggies were extremely hard and undercooked. Ordered a side of gnocchi.and there were 4 small pieces covered in a bunch of sauce.

My partner ordered veal chop and it was all fat and tough. It seemed undercooked.

Near the end of dinner the staff started cleaning the floors with chemicals.a very unpleasant smell to be around during dinner.

Not a pleasant experience at all.

I was at my desk when I thought back to the party I had in this restaurant. Here, I attended a party, and the food was delicious. I'm a big fan of the chef. Additionally, the services offered by servers are excellent. Angelina and Arnav were overly hospitable and catered to all of our needs. Arnav began with a thorough introduction and assured us that he would take excellent care of us today as they shown professionalism. I'm grateful for the services.

Delicious dinner with vibrant atmosphere. Overhead music was a bit loud but staff kindly turned down on request. Chicken parmwith roast potato and veg was generous and delectable. Tiramisu dessert: very yummy.

Great Italian fare. Nice wine selection. Perfect place for romantic dinners or corporate get togethers.

Food has definitely deteriorated in quality and does not reflect the higher prices they are charging. Ordered the gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce (they up the price for sauce from 4 to $6). The gnocchi’s are ridiculous in size had to cut three times to get a mouth size bite. These extremely huge gnocchi’s changed texture and taste of meal, the dough sticking to rough of my mouth. Ugh. Ate three bites rest went in garbage. Btw they charging more and no complimentary bread or spicy oil provided. A few months back ordered the veal piccata - the meat look like previously chewed meat and was chewy. That went in garbage too. So never eating here again.

I have been to this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. We have celebrated special occasions here and other occasions which became special because of this restaurant. The food is superb and the service is friendly and professional. They make you feel like family. Try it and make some memories of your own. ️

Visited on October 23. Solid Italian food with a brick stove made pizza of excellent quality and a good lasagna. Service was good, though could be a tiny little more attentive, as I needed to ask to refill the glass of water. Got a pleasant bonus in a form of an 80th birthday celebrated next to us with live Italian music and lovely songs that accompanied a great meal. Thanks, will come back.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in all of Brampton! Maurizio and Maebh go above and beyond to make sure you feel like you’re at home with their warm hospitality. The service is exceptional and the food brings back memories of dining in Italy - I really love their vitello pizzaiola, its perfect if you’re in the mood for some pasta as well as a meat dish. Their sauce, as well as their gnocchi are all made in-house, and they now offer an awesome vintages wine list which has a great selection.

Elegant setting, clean, friendly, quick service. The owner and staff treated us excellently. The food was delicious! The tiramisu is a must have! We will definitely eat here again!

We had our anniversary dinner there last night and I only have good things to say. Friendly staff, amazing food, and wonderful ambience.

Loved the ambience and the amazing live music! The location is perfect and the pizza was straight from Italy.

The star off is for the lack of organization behind the bar area. It threw off the whole vibe.

I loved it! My little brother made a great choice for my bday dinner! I chose the lasagna because he had pollo Vesuvius. Mauricio and Miriam were super nice and cool people! From the moment we stepped in, Mauricio advised us a more comfortable seat away from some annoying guests. Luckily they left and we enjoyed our dinner on the patio.

Amazingly great food, just the right heat! I advise you take your time, eat slow to savour the flavour, talk, laugh and have a good time:)

I had high expectations as I had lasagne a few years ago at Vesuvio's and it was fantastic. This time I got the chicken parm and it did not appear to be freshly cooked, seemed to be re-heated. It was luke warm when it arrived. I asked for the chicken to be re-heated and then it was better. Disappointing when you pay $25.00. The waitress seemed to avoid me after this, not even offering to refill my water glass, walking right by after filling everyone else's glass. Not the quality of service expected at a restaurant of this calibre.

Waited forever for food to come. I ordered chicken parm and after a 1 hour wait, they served veal parm instead. Didn't feel like waiting again so I just ate it. Very small portions. I'm biased because I'm Italian and have a mother who is the best cook so it is hard to find an Italian restaurant that will come close to her food, but I felt the food was very ordinary.

Loud place, low end food. For an Italian places I’ve been to, this one is definitely at the low end of the scale. But they’ve been around for a long time, so I suppose some people like it.

*Consistently* warm and considerate treatment, good food and ambiance. Great date night or family dinner choice.

First time dining at this restaurant. The service was attentive. The meal was delicious from start to finish. I really appreciate hot food, served hot. Even the bread was hot when it was delivered to our table. I will be back to try something else from the menu.

Buffalo Mozzarella on a margherita pizza is the authentic way to go, love this place beyond what words can express. Thank you for the amazing food will be coming again.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for this one. Went from NYC to Canada for the weekend and decided to stop by this restaurant. Best decision I ever made. Service was really amazing from waitress, manager and chef. And the food was amazing 10/10. Really appreciate everything done by the restaurant. Would recommend this to anyone who is in this area in Brampton.

We ordered for delivery and one of our items was missing. The restaurant immediately called us back and personally sent an uber our way to deliver the missing item to our house. They also included free tiramisu with it. Incredible customer service that went above and beyond to correct a mistake and the food was delicious. Absolutely loved it!

So here we were as it was full however no wait We got a patio table as we had requested for it

The service was not too good The server didn’t bring in nor offer us the breads
We ordered a bruschetta and a capresse salad with some wine and Corona beer

Bruschetta was disappointing with just 2 pieces of the bruschetta and rest all grilled veggies
The caprese salad was excellent
After the appetizers we requested for the bread which came without the dip
Since my friend knew about the hot spicy dipping sauce she asked for it
Really you have to ask for everything nothing comes as a part of the service
For mains we ordered Fusilli with pesto and Gnocchi in creamy sauce
The fusilli and gnocchi were fine not very good
Would like to go there again to try some more stuff from their interesting menu

LOVE this place, the service & food are impeccable. It's perfect for a nicer than usual meal. The owner is very involved and hands on which hugely influences the welcoming atmosphere and the high quality of the food. Try it, I'm sure that by the end of your meal you'll be planning out how and when you can get yourself back again.

Great Italian food from an extensive menu complemented by good wines is served by friendly staff, in this popular eatery with ambience and a patio, in downtown Brampton. Near Gage Park, across the street from the City Hall. Ample parking available. Reservations required, especially during these trying times.

First time customer. I ordered the manicotti and my first bite had a large piece of plastic in it. It was really shocking but I did not want to make it a big deal in front of the table as we were there for a birthday dinner. I went inside to tell the staff and asked for another dish.

I was recommended the gnocchi as a replacement meal. When I tried it, It was overcooked so I packed up the rest. At the end of our meals, I was shocked to see that I was charged for my meal plus the extra charge for the rose sauce. For a customer to find a piece of plastic baked into the pasta, I thought they would try to make it right but I was quite disappointed.

What can I say. My wife and I come here ALL THE TIME! The food and service is always superb and if you're a tiramisu fan I challenge you to find a better one, we've never visited without ordering it.

Best 3 course meal I have had at home in over a year and at a very reasonable price when you consider the quality of food you get. I 100% recommend the food at Vesuvio

I can’t rave enough about this restaurant. The BEST in Brampton hands down. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. This is our go to restaurant not only for the incredible meals but also for the service. Maurizio and staff are so hospitable and accommodating. If you haven’t had the chance to eat here you most definitely should.

I called in advance and asked if the pastas I was planning to order were made in house. The person on the phone said yes - everything is made in house. The rigatoni and the spaghetti is clearly not made in house, and was dry and lacked flavour. The rigatoni was said to be in a cream sauce but nothing creamy about it. I asked for no mushrooms or green peppers (due to food sensitivities) in the spaghetti but they were still included. I also asked for parmigiano reggiano (Parmesan) on the side, but it was not provided. The gnocchi was good, but everything else took away from our overall experience. My family and I are super disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again.

We were VERY impressed with the service and quality of food from this restaurant! We had the perfect date night for two. The staff were super friendly and the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered the chicken parmigiana and the agnolotti - can't go wrong.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and exceptional customer service! I made a special trip there just to get their tiramisu for take-out because it is to die for. The restaurant manager provided above and beyond customer service. Everything I have eaten there was absolutely delicious.
