Dr Nabeel is a very nice Dr. She's compassionate and really cares about her patients. Very nice workplace as well.

I was a patient at VMC for nearly a decade and honestly, I miss it! The staff are so kind, patient, and helpful! Wait times were always short. I can’t recommend enough!

Extremely slow. Never on time for appointments. Waited over an 1 hour watching multiple people come into waiting room after I register and see the dr before me. My time is more valuable than they feel clearly

My husband has had a severe rash for almost 2 years and has gone to the clinic to see Dr Cookson countless times and he has been brushed off over and over being told don't scratch or use moisturizer and never was anything actually done about it recently he has often gone multiple times a week and rarely has dr Cookson even talked to him personally always sending residents who clearly don't know what they are doing because it was never clearing up.finally after at least a yr and a half of him trying to fight with them to help they did a skin swab and they gave him antibiotics that still is slowly helping and never made it go away yet they still
Don't take him seriously and he had to ask for a recommendation to see a dermatologist and they grudgingly gave it to him but dr Cookson really doesn't care

Dr cookson is a terrible family physician! She is beyond rude and disrespectful, she just flat out does not care about her patients whatsoever. Dr Cookson is also undeniably lazy. I was a patient of hers for nearly two years before I met her because she couldn't be bothered to pop her head in for a matter of seconds and introduce herself. She refuses to oversee or even at the very least check in with her resident's to see what's going on with her patients, leaving her resident's to continuously misdiagnosed, prescribe wrong medications and give incorrect medical advice as well as prescription dosages. If you voice your concerns with Dr. Cookson about the terrible Heath care or LACK of health care you are receiving she will act like you are problematic. The tone of voice she uses with patients is absolutely disgusting and with a blatantly condescending tone. Not only is Christina a terrible doctor, she is a terrible person.

My family has been patients here for over 30 years. When Jo-Anne Hammond (our doctor) was still there, she was fantastic, and despite it being a teaching center, always made sure to come in after the resident was finished and ask if you had any questions or concerns for HER (as SHE would know your history more than her student). Since Hammond's retirement we have had 2 doctors (Moxley and now Cookson) take her place and NEITHER of them have been of any help for my brother, my mother OR myself. When my brother went for a referral for his back pain, he was told that there's no point because the OTHER doctor wouldn't be able to do anything for him, when I went in to ask to get my hormones tested, I was asked questions (by Cookson's resident) and when he went to relay my answers, she didn't even come IN to tell me they won't check my levels because from my answers she think's I'm fine. My MOTHER had been having health issues for the past FOUR YEARS and they'll send her for a few tests, and when her results come back in the "normal spectrum", she's given ANXIETY PILLS to help her PHYSICAL ailments. Only after going to the after hours clinic and Saint Joe's has Cookson claimed to be worried or care.

Great clinic! My husband used to see Dr Witmore as a child and now our family sees Dr Wicket and she is amazing. Super kind, attentive and reassuring. I usually get same-day appointments for my kids which is great instead of having to go to a walk-in. They no longer meet you at the hospital unfortunately. However, if ever they are closed, they refer you to a satellite clinic at which you can make an appointment. The only difficulty is that you see many student doctors, so it usually is a new face every appointment, but you can definitely request to see your doctor if that's what you prefer.

Dr Anna Pawlec has been my daughter's doctor, as well as mine, since she was born. She is 10 years old and Pawlec has made sure she's healthy and happy her whole life. Thank you to Dr. Pawlec and the whole team at Victoria Family Medical Center!
