Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre

I did not stay there, I just used the restaurant inside the hotel. But I will say nice atmosphere.

Terrible hotel (now). I've stay here several times of the years and this hotel have continued to go down hill. The rooms aren't very clean, lot's of people lingering in the lobby and hallways. The heat in the room is only on high (and crazy hot) or not at all. We opened the window to cool the room down but people lingering outside smoking outside the windows. The conference room was excellent and service was good for the event we attended. Also Chicago Joes food and service was very good but the hotel, rooms and clientele lingering around are not. I will never stay here again! This place isn't worth anywhere near the $270/night they charged.

Don't care for your front staff, not helpful and made me cry today. Over a petty meal voucher that myself and my son are entitled too.

Extremely hurtful so be pushed aside and see everyone else being helped except me and my 10 year old son standing at the front desk.

Quick service but was even quicker to racially profile even tho I nor main medical escort And the elder in our care even bother with alcohol or any other solvent products. Telling us once would’ve been sufficient but 3 or more. In front of other guests.whom were all Caucasian.was uncalled for

It was a necessary stop conveniently located but the room was expensive, but dark and dingy. Rug stains made it feel very dirty although it WAS clean and service was perfectly fine.

This place felt very unsafe we kept hearing noises and saw shadows. We barely slept that night, well to be honest we didn’t because there were too many drunk people outside our door. We also felt a strong sence that there was someone watching us from the pool quite often. There were some shadows moving quite fast and it was visible to a blind person. The pool was quite dirty and basically no lifeguards, we often seen the lifeguards talking, paying whatsoever no attention and on there phones. The room was messy and was a small red stain in the bed. When we would walk down the hallways, we saw a guy holding a knife multiple times. The food also took an hour to cook some pancakes.

Had 2 rooms on the first floor. Was awake all night as we were in room 121 by the side door and people were in and out banging down the hall and doors all night. People would smoke outside our room and weed and smoke came through our windows because the air conditioning wasn't working. Pool was packed with birthday parties and dirty bandaids were floating, no pool towels available for guests. I ordered food to go in the morning and asked for dry toast as my child has an allergy and when we got the takeout it was wrong. Didn't always feel safe as there were many drunks outside. Over all a terrible experience. Mentioned to the lady at checkout and she didn't care one bit.

I found a long piece of hair in my potatoes, and I told them about it. They didn’t throw it but continued to feed it to other people.

I was informed Wequedong Lodge patients can now order off the regular menu now at Chicago Joes restaurant, the separate menu that was provided to the first nations people was an extremely gross contrast to what the regular menu offers. I am thankful on behalf of our First Nations to take a step back and take a step forward because that was a violation in the Charter of human rights. Segregation in this day and age shouldn’t have even been considered. Thank you because I was reporting this to Human Rights. Being insulin dependant, we were subjected to long wait times in the restaurant. 2 hour wait while seated in restaurant. Observed the situation and was quite accommodating in tolerating how the staff treated some people. Was evicted after confronting the restaurant management after waiting over an hour for breakfast we ordered as take out. He said we picked it up. Then said the Order was not placed, Got evicted for advocating for my children to be given a breakfast and by then a lunch. Always loved Vic inn but your restaurant management needs to be revamped.

No air conditioning, Can’t stay here because of this, going to nor western tomorrow. Room was unbearable with the heat

Dirty pool, dirty rooms, no dinner table in my room, nonhand soap. Shower head was one setting with no pressure. Toilet seat was loose and not attached or put on right. Loud people throughout the night waking up my family. Next room over was smoking inside there room causing stench in our bathroom. Food service took over 2 hours to make pancakes. Constant people outside blocking front entrance smoking. Stay somewhere else for 175$ a night. Staff don't care owner doesn't care. Rooms wall paper falling off. Not worth it. Pool was disgusting not taken care off. Water slide wasn't available as there was no lifeguard staff. Awful pool smelled like garbage/feces. Bathroom fan not working. People constantly going out through the side door causing loud abrupt noises all throughout the night. Worst hotel I've ever been in.

Place is spectacular even from our last visit, restaurant right in the hotel is such a convenience.

Attended a dinner banquet recently. Noticed that the walls, ceiling, hallways and waiting areas need a fresh coat of paint or updated carpet and window coverings. Although much uograding is a first priority, its overall grading should remajn above-average as the entire structure is still nice, clean and presentable. Staff are courteous and ready to assist whenever help is needed.

Depressing! I think they share facilities with a rehabilitation center. There were a lot of sick people in pain. Nothing against that, just that it was our vacation, and you don’t want to spend your time in a facility that looks more like a hospital—also, a lot of people in the front of the hotel smoking and drinking. At one point, there were three police cars in the parking lot. Friendly staff!

I'm a remote Camp manager and after being in the woods for 28 days it's nice to come to a clean room and friendly staff. My issue was breakfast service was literally terrible. I have worked in this buisness most of my life and service is everything. I was seated but not served, I waited for a waitress but no arrived. I have a long flight ahead of me today and a nice breakfast would have been great to start my day. My supper service was excellent.

This is a great hotel. My son loves the pool and water slide. My partner and I enjoy the hot tub. The customer service was top notch. The manager David Madden was extremely helpful. I would go again.

Great restaurant and others easily available, good sized room, clean bathrooms, didn't use the pool but looked great for kids. Price was reasonable if not on the cheaper side of other hotels in the area.

The water slide is the only plus really. The rooms are outdated and the front desk service is OK.
