Victoria Village Arena

Badminton at Victoria Village is FREE on Wednesday from 12: 20-3: 15 PM. The gym/court is fair size with real hardwood flooring in good condition. But no one shows up! I'm guessing its an ongoing situation since only one net was set up. It's odd how some community centres can be full during weekday afternoons and yet some are empty although located only a few kilometers away.

Hey, there are cherry trees in bloom just outside the corner windows which is nice to see in Spring.

The house league hockey is a great, easygoing and fun program. The arena is clean and bright with lots of space in the viewing stands.

Great city run rink, clean, with lots of parking. It's not well marked and easy to drive by in the dark. Tim Hortons within walking distance.

One of our favorite rinks. Lots of parking. Clean and spacious. Clean bathrooms. Plentiful seating with heaters.

Nice ice and good seating. I like the character of this place.
Docking a star because the old guy running the time keepers booth loves the horn and it's effin' LOUD. I think it gave me tinnitus lol

Great centre for kids gymnastic programs and skating. The facility looks relatively new and well kept and there are plenty of parking spaces.

Facility is always spotless when I come in for morning/afternoon hockey. However the ice has gotten progressively worse as the season has worn on.
The hash marks are barely visible in spots. Nice snack bar though it's never open in the morning. The game horn is absurdly loud, I often see people near it cover their ears. Gym is pretty nice with a glass wall to keep an eye on your kids.

Great family entertainment. I have yet to meet a crazy hockey parent. Everyone is just out to learn the game and meet people in their community. I haven't had any experiences with any of the rec centre stuff. I would give it 5 stars but only one ice pad. It could definitely use a second. The arena is clean well maintained and friendly

Not the nicest arena, staff are a bit pushy when supervising public skate times (and it can get really busy at times). So many things are not allowed on the ice, all you can do is skate in the circle without them yelling at you. I think this is really excessive, especially since a pro skater (say skating backwards) is much safer than an 8 year old doing that 10x the speed without looking backwards, yet they are allowed to?

Great arena with spacious change rooms for hockey. Great basketball court too. Seemed to be well used by people in the community, but well managed.

It’s a beautiful place and spacious as well. Great opportunity for kids and their families to get together and cheer on the young ones.

Our kids going to local ice skating rink come here for the finals and then everyone still gets their pictures and regardless.

There is plenty of parking for everyone as well. But when they turn the lights out for music and impact I would prefer more disco balls to give a better effect on the ice. Otherwise the lights and music timing is spot on. And the sound system is great as well. Definitely feels like a “real” even when our kids are playing and learning how to fall gracefully ️.

Decent ice, small change rooms. Loudest buzzer in the entire country. For hockey teams, the water refill station doesn't work so fill up your water at home!

It's a great place with good programs but it would be nice if their were more stores around since the cafe was closed in the arena.

Wow, Not a clear arena. Concession stand is just bad. Bad food, well except the popcorn. Very cold even throw it would appear they have the heating system up. Ice is super bad, not good to play on.

Great facility. Staff is amazing especially on Saturdays:) the gym is like a fish bowl, all of the walls are glass
