Went in the store with the intent of buying a game i knew was in stock. Over herd one of the clerks (Possible owner) complaining about how someone on the phone thinks they have a game in stock just cause it says they have it in stock online. Whereas he made it seem that, that person is foolish for thinking that.

The attitude he had about that should've been a red flag to me but, i looked on the wall for the game i intended to buy anyways. It took me while to find it. I couldn't tell who where the employees on the floor, and who where customers just filing through games. So i didn't ask for help, nor was i asked if i needed help.

I finally found the game i wanted to purchase (online it said 4 in stock, but they only had 1). I stood at the cashier for maybe about 5 min or so (mind you there was nobody cashing out in front of me) before i was asked if i wanted to cash out. I am new to this shop so asked if they have a collection of games for a console i like to collect for. I guess i don't look the part of your "ideal gamer" so the clerk looked at me and the person with me and didn't seem to take my question seriously, and replied in way that seemed uninterested and rude. At that point I'm not sure if he noticed we clearly have caught on to how we are being treated because we didn't fit the mold of "gamers'' (gatekeeping gamers are the worst).

At this point i remained mature and continued to converse. I must have said something that struck a cord, cause the clerk all of sudden realized i know what I'm talking about, and that i have honest interest in retro gaming.his tune somewhat changed, and his approach was much different.

Regardless in the end i bought the game and left. The fact the person who was with me, who isn't familiar with gaming and the community; was able to pick up on all that, is telling. Someone (or a few people) in the previous reviews mentioned 1 clerk being rude to the other staff.yea i seen that first hand as well.

The game i bought was for a last min Bday gift. If it wasn't for that reason why i bought the game, mid interaction i would have just said "forget', and walked out. Not everyones experience is going to be the same, but considering there are other local options i wouldn't recommend this place.

I bought Pokémon leaf green for $179 and I took it to my other guy from retro quest and he told me it was a fake. I am devastated and flabbergasted that I had to pay full price for it. Please Ask yourself why do you do this for a living.
