Village Cigar Company & Barbershop

I’m a cigar lover and rate the Guelph Village Cigar highly. That said, the shopping experience is amazing due to Peter, the exceptional and highly knowledgeable manager. The place wouldn’t be the same without him. 5 stars.

I have frequented the shop, many times, and I am quite a fan of the chain in general. Are used to frequent the Oakville location, as well as the (Burlington) location, but this one is now the closest to my home.
Many of the times I’ve been in, I have been helped by Peter, who is the superlative when it comes to answering questions. Always a great experience, I am very fond of his expertise as well as his help.
Today, as well, I got to meet Stephanie, who, when my hair grows back in, I will have to put to work.

Stopped here on my way up to Muskoka for a wedding. The shop owner helped me select a few great tasting cigars from a huge selection.

The ones in the picture I attached were a hit at the wedding.

Thank you for all your help. I definitely will be back here next time I am in town.

I get my haircut here whenever it gets too long. I have had my haircut done by two different employees and they both did a fantastic job.

I ordered a box of their custom logo cigar's fro my husband's birthday and they were AMAZING! Super helpful staff via email and in person. Very professional! I love this cigar store!

A few years ago my friend went to buy me a cigar for my birthday. They said the gentleman was super helpful in helping chose a cigar as a gift. My friend new nothing about cigars but with the help of the store keeper they were able to pick out an awesome cigar.

That was 3 years ago, today I went in and brought in my personal cigar box that I bought second hand that came with an assortment of cigars. The shop keeper took their time to look through my box and gave me insight on them such as quality, county of origin and flavour.

I then asked for help picking out some cigars and the shop keeper took me around the entire store pointing out recommendations that were within my budget. Super helpful and friendly, took their time to explain and help. I'm very glad to have this local shop right around the corner. I will definitely be shopping here again.

When you first walk in, the smell is amazing followed by the look and feel of an old style store with the old plank flooring, downstairs is the barber shop which is cozy and comfortable and keeps the old vibe in tact with upstairs. Knowledgeable staff helps to find the perfect cigar for your taste.

At first glance this shop seems wonderful. Very nice selection, interesting environment and an array of accessories. I’ve personally spent over 400$ there. However, it has been a number of times now where I’ve purchased a premium cigar that was dry to the point of unsmokable. The first experience was 3x Montecristo 2.a $50 stick. A Monte.anyways.

This was brought to the attention of the cashier and we were not offered anything to rectify the matter. We continued to purchase something different reluctantly.

Leading to 2x Undercrown Sungrown. These cigars were ALSO dry to the point of unsmokable. Completely cracked before the first third, extremely tight draw and every other aspect you can imagine from a poorly managed humidor. Over 300$ wasted.

Do not purchase here unless you’re willing to risk your money.

This was a new experience for me, getting a straight razor shave, and buying a cigar at the same location! How cool is that?
Steph spent a solid hour removing my Covid-19 inspired beard, and did it with amazing precision. The shop has authentic 'old school' barber chairs and complimentary décor. Thanks very much Steph for great shave, and see you again soon. Cheers!

If you're not getting your cigars or hair cut here, why not? ! Fantastic atmosphere, great selection, knowledgeable staff. Only people I trust with a straight razor to my neck! Give it a try, I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Very good. Only place I go to and ive dated 2, hairdresses lol although this is a barber shop don't get it twisted. A1. CLEAN AND SAFE

Needed a haircut and cigars for my wedding. The hair cut was terrible and parking was rather difficult. It is a good place for cigars but I cannot recommend getting a hair cut here.

Great experience over all my Barber was great and helpful also the hot towel treatment the best listen to some tunes and relax a good time to escape from reality love this place highly recommend going

Incredible selection of cigars as well as just the right amount of just the right stuff when it comes to men's styling products. The barbers are excellent and the service is always stellar.

Pleasant tour of the walk in humidor where I found several cigars I'm looking forward too. Also bought a t-shirt with the biggest word on it is Cigar! Lots of fun accessories too. I wish this Barber and Cigar shop was in my hometown.

Very disappointed wanted my hair just barely cut at the back and wanted to keep my wings and buddy cut them right off and thought I said I DIDNT like my wings.

A massive walk-in humidor with a mind meltingly huge variety of cigars to choose from. The place smells amazing! Staff are helpful. Great selection of accessories, too.

Went for a haircut and beard trim today. First time using a professional barber. Steph was wonderful. She asked what I had wanted, and I put my trust in her experience to make me look good, and she didnt disappoint. On my way out enjoyed a cigar of the month. Have returned and will continue to return to this cigar shop. Thanks for the good experience!

I have been smoking cigars for more than 25 years and I have been dying to have quality smoke shop here in Guelph for decades! Village Cigar has delivered just that. Fantastic selection, authentic and genuinely caring staff that know their stuff and a great selection of toys for all your cigar smoking needs. I had a hair cut and shave when they first opened and it was a dynamite way to treat myself. I highly recommend it. Amazing shop for cigars, friendly knowledgeable staff to help you all the way. Not to mention a great old school barbershop in the downstairs. A must visit when in Guelph.

Super friendly guys who are passionate about their smokes. They'll give you around their inventory and help you pick out what might suit your taste. They building is older and has a classic feel; it's decorated with cigar boxes, horns, bottles, and so on. They also have a selection of hair and shaving products, plus smoking accessories and a couple of hip flasks.

A unique shop to get a fine cigar. Knowledgeavle staff willl guide you through the finer points of the cigar experiencd. The barbershop has such a fine hot towel shave thar you will feel like a million bucks. After my shave I felt so great iI was asking iwhere I could buy a top hat to compliment the experience!

Although I have never used the barbering services, I cannot recommend the cigar shop more. Always have good stock. Very knowledgeable service and reasonably priced cigars. I love the cigar of the month promotion. Allowing me to try new cigars and increase the verity in my humidor.

I haven't taken advantage of the barber part of the establishment, but their cigar shop is very nice with a wide selection and knowledgeable staff that are always happy to show you around.
