Village Orthodontics - Erin Mills, Mississauga

Most staff I met today were nice, except for a lady who works in the accounting office. I am not very happy with today’s experience.

The doctor welcomed us and spent time with us during free consultation. After signing and becoming her patient, she only showed up 2-3 mins at the end (sometimes by my request, or she won't come) when we went in for treatment. Most work was done by associates. (different associates every time, they are all nice.) The last appointment we went in, the Dr.didn't show up and we saw her eating in the office when we left. Again, we were treated by another nice associate.
At the Erin Mills location, Dr. Doucet is available Thursdays and every other Saturday. Be aware of that if you have a day job. It's very hard to get an appointment on Saturday. They asked us to wear the same tray for 4 weeks because there was not an available time slot for an appointment.

Professional stuff, so friendly, very clean and an organized place, they explain everything with details. I highly recommend.

Everyone was super nice and helped out when I had questions. If I ever have to recommend someone an orthodontist I’d recommend them this one

The staff here are so kind and make me feel well cared for every time I come in. My hygienist has been super awesome and wonderful. I just wish they also offered regular dental services in addition to orthodontics so I can visit more often!

These people are the absolute worst for appointments. You should turn up an hour later. And if they are dealing with children, They leave them in a chair and ignore them. All because they have your money upfront. Go somewhere more efficient.

Money-hungry factory-like setting. Would not give them any of my hard earned cash.
My consultation was for 8am - they made me wait in the hallway for almost 40 mins before they even acknowledged me. Then, they had the nerve to rush ME. The actual doctor (Dr. D), looked at me and my x-rays for all of 5 mins, gave me the treatment plan, and the whole time acted as if I was just a big nuisance to her. She did not ask me once what I thought or felt about my own teeth. Then she left me with the treatment coordinator or whatever her title was. Again, rushed me. Gave me the price (which was unusually high). When I asked if there was any way they could bring the cost down, she left the room, came back and said, "So if you decide to start the process today, I can give it to you for $6300 instead of $6500. But only for today. " I was dumbfounded. She acted as if we were negotiating buying a used car! So insensitive. I already told her I was gonna think about it. I didn't need to be pressured into dropping a chunk of money on such a big decision. They need to understand that for many people, the cost is a factor in the decision. This place literally felt like a factory and left me with a really negative feeling. Will gladly take my business somewhere where they care about more than dollar signs.

I have been a patient and client at Village Centre Orthodontics for 30 years. I trust Dr Murrell and all of the staff with my smile.

Very disappointed with my son’s braces very expensive than other clinics and he doesn’t do the work and let the assistant do it and she ruined my son’s frontal teeth they made one shorter than the other. I don’t recommend this clinic for anybody and i complained and he didn’t care or try to fix the problem.very bad experience.

Although sometimes have to wait for a little bit long time, the receptionist, the dentist, and the nurse are all very warm and professional.

This place has become so bad regarding appointment time. You have to wait at least half an hour at the door, and another half an hour waiting in the chair for the tech to show up. This is happening every appointment we have booked at Erin Mills location. The person who checks the text message on arrival is very rude and unprofessional. Please find other places for orthodontic work for your children.

Been going here for my son for 4 years now. Love the service and attentiveness. Big Thank you to Dr. Murrell. He is amazing!

BUT…. I went in for a second opinion on the straightening work my dentist did. Holy Smokes! Felt like I got thrown under a bus. Main orthodontist came in fully loaded for battle, defensive, almost condescending…. My husband had some questions and he, Dr, shut him down! …. I’m totally confused, only a second opinion.
BUT …. Dr. In the last minute of the appointment, did let out that my front teeth are touching and THATS NOT ACCEPTABLE by any standards….
FYI I went to this office because my 12yr old niece has him for her ortho/braces.

The service was very professional. The staff was always courteous and friendly and they have a great team of doctors ready to address any questions or concerns! I highly recommend!

Dr. Murell is incredible friendly, patient and understanding orthodontist. Would not have my smile without him. My only reservation is that the clinic charges their treatment at a substantial premium relative to other orthodontic clinics.

I had the worst appointment today. It seemed like the person attending me didn’t know what she was doing. She was really rough on my mouth and it looked like she was in a rush trying to finish my appointment instead of taking her time.

I got my braces done on may 4th, 2021. When I arrived everyone in the front office said hello and was very nice. Then I was sent to a room to get an X-ray, the lady that helped me was so sweet and very gentle. Then I was sent to another room and was given a sheet of paper to fill out and another kind lady was helping me with things I had trouble answering. Then I finally got my braces and another lady explained how I should brush and floss etc. Overall my experience was very very good, everyone’s was super kind and respectful. If you’re thinking of getting braces or anything done, definitely come to village orthodontics at Erin Mills park way, they’re amazing. ️

Very busy. They don’t have wait lists in case of cancellation even if problem seems urgent. Communication with parents of minors is poor during covid. Was better in person. Clean, convenient locations. On time. Have had to go back for different problems - especially concrete falling off/loose wires for my daughter so not sure if this is a common problem at other places or just them. Don’t expect personal service but will get the job done.

Very bad inconsiderate customer service appointments are very bad and almost not fitting anyone’s work schedule, every time I have to take time off my work to drop my daughter

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Lekht, she is an amazing doctor. She is very attention to detail and makes her comforted. If there is a problem such as a wire breaking, Dr. Lekht will always find the fastest way to fix it. I am very happy to have her as my daughter’s doctor because of her amazing job.

Gotten my braces done at the Square One location 5 years ago and it was great. Dr. Doucet is a great orthodontist. Had to go back due to shifts in my bottom row (which was my fault) and was appointed to the Erin Mills location.

Everything was great until i had to get a second impression done. The person that did it for me was the COVID-19 screening lady. I was super skeptical but was whatever about it since it was just an impression but holyyy she pressed down so hard that it left marks on the floor of my mouth. I kept telling her it hurt but she just told me to breathe through my nose and proceeded to press even harder. She left the putty in for quite some time and plus, her thanos strength was so strong that she almost couldnt take the mold off.

I know impressions are supposed to be uncomfortable but they definitely shouldnt hurt (ive gotten them done before).

I just hope she reads this and start to realize that she should use her human strength instead of her thanos strength.

No.dont go here.there are better places that will actually treat you like a real client than a dog.they cut past my enamel, and my teeth are forever sensitive but thats okay! Because my ortho said theres nothing we can do about it! My teeth clearly aren't aligned.but THATS OKAY! Know why because the orthodontist said they were!

Ya save your $7000 for a better ortho that actually cares about their clients probably a nice vacation too. Also front desk secretaries, ortho and some hygenists are hekkin disrespectful.i know kindergarteners who have more manners.

I went today to get my aligner attachments and buttons off and never felt this type of pain before. I genuinely thought my teeth were going to break because they didn't use the electrical devices. They used a plier to break off the attachments. I told the hygienist after a couple minutes how much it hurt and she did apologize, said that my teeth won't break and she couldn't use the scaling device because of aerosols. When I went home I realized is still had 25% of glue residue from the attachments, a loose front tooth, a bleeding lip due to the force of the plier and constant tooth pain. My mom also has her aligners here and the company already made 2 mistakes. Her first package of aligners included two bottom sets and on her 3rd set, the front tooth of the top aligner was not there. The front tooth imprint on the aligner was not there like? When they first opened the aligners (and realized there was only two bottom aligners) she told them to open each and every one to check if there was a set for all. They checked and when we came home, we saw the missing tooth impression on one of the aligners.
Even if you try to tell the hygienist or the front desk about any situation, they just nod and dismiss you.

Please do yourself a favour and do not go to this orthodontist.i started with a overbite and slightly crooked bottom teeth. 2 and a half years later still have a huge overbite and what a shock my teeth are still crooked.they are a money scam and now i am getting surgery.i hope you rot in Hell.

Worst service from receptionist to rebook a schedule. As a patient, we have the right to reschedule and the lady that I spoke with to make the rescheduling appointment was very rude and was not helpful at all. She was very short answered with me and there is definitely no need for that as it could of been very pleasant with simple solutions as my availability is very flexible. Note to owner or manager: train your staff how to better deal with customer service interactions to gain more rapport. Not nice Village orthodontics.

Dr. Doucet is the worst orthodontist I've ever seen. I hope her medical degree is questioned. Ruined my mouth caused me so much pain. I wonder how you sleep at night knowing you are a scam artist that ruins peoples lives?

The receptionist's lack of brain cells concern me.doesn't hurt to have some emotions and do your job.clearly since you are a orthodontic receptionist you couldn't get into anything that actually takes some knowledge, how pathetic.

Regret ever getting braces here. The amount of people that agree is shocking. You should be ashamed of yourself a bunch of money grabbing imbeciles.

I question if this Dr. Murray has a Degree or anything else. Stay away from this place. Incompetent and rude.

Not flexible for scheduling. During COVID even worse, only of you are bleeding or poking through your mouth they would talk to you. Would not go back with the second child if they would need braces

This place keeps on postponing appointments. They take in so many patients that they cannot manage their current ones and create extremely long waiting times. Extremely disappointed in my son's experience here. Will not be recommending to anyone.

My daughter came here earlier for treatment for her braces and was forced to wait for a long period of time despite being on time. Furthermore, she proceeded with the treatment and complained throughout that the hygenist was being fairly rough. It’s now a couple hours afterwards that I’m writing this review, and several brackets of hers have been broken, and her power chain has come off as well, allowing the possibility for more to break throughout her sleep. This puts my daughter at risk of further injuries and I do not recommend this place for anyone.

Booked an appointment and still had to wait an hour, the doctor dismissed my concern for pain in the back of my neck whenever I yawned, he was just trying to shove the braces in my face and cash out, I sensed a lack of empathy for the patient when the doctor didnt even look at the xrays he took and didnt know which disk in my jaw was dislocated, very disappointing and careless I wouldn't this place recommend to anyone, never been back there since.

Ok so all of us were patients going back 20 years. Dr kablefleisch hands down the best ortho ever. Dr Bart did my batches and amazing but they are gone. These guys are rip off artists. My daughter had pre treatment done which was supposed to be deducted from her braces cost. They deducted 700 off her braces! Total Bs. Had I stayed with them I would have paid over 7000 for 18 months of braces. Needless to say I found a new ortho. On top of everything you can never get an appt and the Erin mills staff are beyond rude

You CAN’T get an appointment at decent time like weekends or afternoon! So I always have to take time off and take my kids out of school which is really ridiculous. They don’t even bother to book appointments in advance you have to always book only one appointment after every visit!
What really upset me is how flexible they were in the beginning before you sign with them and how restrict they became after you stuck with them!
Bottom line don’t come here if you have restrict schedule or don’t like to take your kids out of school time!

I got my braces on as an adult and was always worried about what the process would be like. I went to consultations at other orthodontist offices and they all discribed how difficult my situation would be. When I came to Village Orthodontics not only did they make me feel more welcome than any other ortho I had visited, but they made everything so easy for me. From scheduling appointments, to discribing what they were changing on me that day, to at home care, and even finances were made to fit my financial needs. It was by far the best investment I have ever made. Special thank you to Dr. Lekht who made the experience seamless, and actually enjoyable! She is what I like to think of as, an artist of an orthodontist. Never would I have imagined my smile looking so beautiful. She revealed a whole new level of confidence in me with my smile. I would recommend Village Orthodontics to every family member, friend, and even stranger. Thank you Village Orthodontics!
